Amazing platform, Lukas is very passionate about it and it reflects on the way he teaches. The first zoom call was very motivational and he knew how to solve the issues I was facing. Lastly his approach to theory is different than the traditional way of teaching it which destroys the boundaries of complication.

I just have to say that in my journey to become a greater player I find the course of Lukas and it's just amazing, I haven't complete the course yet but the material and the quality of these one is just amazing, everthing it's well explained and it gives you the facility to get all of it on PDF.
Just can say that it's highly recommendable and a good inversion if you want to get better on guitar!

I had been playing guitar looking up Youtube tutorials and reading books, but that only got me so far. I then saw some videos of Lukas inviting guitar players to test the course, took the plunge and I was in for a surprise. There were no hidden subscription conditions, one-time payment for lifetime access to all existing and future content. Biggest surprise was the free-of-charge included guidance call with Lukas, when I got to interact with him in real time. The man knows what he's doing, immediately understood my situation, suggested solutions for my limitations at the time and it made a big difference in a really short duration.

The only negative in my experience, may not be applicable to everyone is that the course is a bit advanced for a total beginner, it starts off assuming you have been holding and playing the guitar for a while so for new players, I would suggest you work a bit harder on yourselves before diving into the actual course laid out by Lukas because it will definitely pay out in the long run.

I would recommend MCG for anyone who is either intermediate or even experienced players, the strategies being shared by Lukas on the course itself and on his social channels are small changes when incorporated into your routine might not look like much but they add up to a massive noticeable difference in a relatively short time frame.

With so many online guitar courses these days, it can seem daunting to pick "the right one". If, like me, you have plateaued and feel frustrated, a lack of direction and some days you dont want to pick the guitar up - this is the course for you!

Lukas has presented the course in a well considered sequence, with excellent drills to improve basic technique, and progressing through various lessons of differing difficulty. The videos are clear and concise, with downloadable content to help practice when you cant watch the videos.

There has been a couple of times I've had to ask Lukas a question, and hes taken the time to help me quickly. He clearly is passionate about guitar and believes in his course. I never thought in my 25 years of playing that I could be a shredder, but this course has made me challenge my beliefs!

Personally, Modern Guitar Course was exactly what I was looking for and needed to begin my journey of truly unlocking my guitar potential. I truly believe guitar players of varying skill levels can benefit from what Lukas has to offer!

I'm about 1/3 of the way through the course and have noticed improvements. My technique is getting a lot better and I'm learning a lot about theory and all of the different scales that make up songs and solos. The course is user friendly and enjoyable to do. The play alongs with the tabs at the bottom of the video are awesome.

This course is amazing. Absolutely love the step by step program that Lukas has setup for his students. I was struggling on learning how to sweep pick for a year and didn't know what I was doing wrong. A week later of practicing, my sweep picking technique changed over night. This guitar course is great for those who are ambitious guitars players who want to further their guitar playing. I want to thank Lukas again for creating MGC.

I'm still working my way through the course but I can already tell this was exactly what I have been looking for. If you're like me, having felt stuck in a rut for years and slogged through countless hours of YouTube videos trying to break through a plateau, then this course is exactly what you're looking for. It's like a road map for intermediate guitarist; giving you exactly what you need in order to improve and skipping all of the beginner stuff you likely already know. Its packed with content such as PDF cheat sheets, backing tracks, and Guitar Pro files that will let you practice the techniques at your own tempo. The guitar pro files are my favorite part because I'm not able to play all of the exercise at 100% (yet) and that, to me, is what makes the course worth it. Not being able to play them at full speed means this course is challenging and exactly what I need to be working on in order to improve. And speaking of the exercises, they are a delight to play! Each one has a heavy backing track underneath so you can actually hear where they'll be useful vs the same old bland pentatonic shapes to a click that most of us are probably used to. Lucas is also a great teacher. He's personable, knowledgeable, can actually play the stuff he's teaching you, and encouraging. Maybe most importantly of all, he's interactive (just look at all of his replys to the reviews here.) He'll periodically reach out to you 1on1 via social media to check on your progress so you can really tell he genuinely cares about this program and his students. One last thing, as others have mentioned, this is a challenging course. But as Lucas said in one of thr lessons "nobody else is going to do this for you" so as long as you out in the time, you WILL see results. I haven't been this excited or motivated to play guitar in a long time and this was just the spark I needed. Worth every penny I paid.

During the time I was trying to learn to play the guitar by myself, I created a lot of bad habits which lead to repetitive quitting and starting over again. Until Lukáš's course helped me not only to get rid of those habits but also to take my playing to the next level. Worth it! Guitar exercises done right! No more scrambling through YT. Lukas is clear and concise, explains his techniques and why he does them so you can adapt it into your techniques, you'll be mind blown on your improvements. Challenging exercises that force you to be the best you can be. This is not an ideal course for guitarist's with less than 1-2 years experience but you'll definitely learn things that get you on a clear path. Lukas really cares about his students and is always happy to clear things up if needed.

I have been playing metal guitar for over 20 years quite seriously. I'm fully self-taught. This course has given me a lot of new punch to the playing & got me revisit the foundations of many essential techniques & concepts. Recommended!

This course is amazing! I learned more in a couple of months than I had in years of playing before. Lukas makes music theory much more digestible than anyone I've tried to learn from before. He also has designed technique drills that are fun and actually sound good instead if just chromatics that are boring and annoy the people you live with. Couldn't recommend this course enough!

MCG helped me a lot to get back to my old form and is helping me even to get better! As I'm writing this, I'm at the second module and can tell you I'm faster, more accurate and can better understand the scales, modes etc..
