Unbelievable incompetence

Unbelievable incompetence considering the company is founded on serving the needs of the disabled. Took a vehicle in for service which took almost 5 weeks and the repair (sliding door and wheelchair ramp) failed immediately. GM at the Alexandria VA store is as unfit for the job as the service technician that botched the repair and returned it without fixing the problem. Extraordinary lack of communication from them. Of dozens of calls to get updates, only 2 were made from them to me. I was charged 3x the retail cost for parts, and didn't warranty anything. If you are disabled and need your accessible vehicle fixed in a timely and professional manner, God help you if you go to MW.

RECENTLY LAST YEAR I BOUGHT MY 3RD VAN…

RECENTLY LAST YEAR I BOUGHT MY 3RD VAN FROM MOBILITY WORKS.. THE TRANSFER SEAT MOTOR STOPPED WORKING AT THE BEGINNING OF JUNE. SINCE IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY I ASKED FOR MOBILITY WORKS TO ORDER A NEW MOTOR SO I COULD GET BACK MY FREEDOM. WAS TOLD ON MONDAY 6/9 THAT THE MOTOR WOULD BE IN THE FOLLOWING WEEK. SO I CALLED BK THE NEXT WEEK TO CHECK STATUS AND SCHEDULE THE INSTALL. I FINALLY GOT A HOLD OF RUSS ON WEDNESDAY 6/18 AND HE HAD TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NO TRACKING INFO AND THAT HE WOULD GET BK TO ME IN A DAY OR 2 WITH THE UPDATE. I LEFT A COUPLE MESSAGES FOR RUSS ON FRIDAY EXPECTING AN UPDATE AS IT HAD BEEN A COUPLE DAYS SINCE I WAS TOLD I WOULD BE CONTACTED BACK. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK AFTER LEAVING MULTIPLE MESSAGES ON THE FOLLOWING MON 6/23 AND TUE 6/24. FINALLY I GOT THROUGH AND SPOKE TO RUSS ON WED THE 25TH, AND HE SAID THE MOTOR WOULD NOT BE SHIPPED UNTIL 7/1 SO BASICALLY THEY WANTED ME TO BE WITHOUT TRANSPORTATION FOR OVER A MONTH.. I MADE SOME PHONE CALLS TO BRAUN AS THEY ARE THE MANUFACTURE OF THE TRANSFER SEAT AND THEY STATED THAT THE PRODUCT WAS IN STOCK AND THAT I NEEDED TO ORDER IT THROUGH A DEALER, AND THAT ANY SHIPPING DELAYS WERE ON MOBILTY WORKS SIDE SINCE THEY DO THEIR OWN SHIPPING. NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS UPSET ME THAT THEY WERE DELAYING MY MOTOR BY OVER A MONTH SO I CALLED AROUND A FOUND ANOTHER COMPANY THEY ORDERED IT AND I GOT IT INSTALLED ON 7/2 AND GOT MY FREEDOM BACK. ITS NOW 7/21 AND I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED ANY CALLS ABOUT THE MOTOR COMING IN BY MOBILTY WORKS. THE NEW PLACE THAT FIXED MY SEAT CHANGED ALL MY DECALS AND LICENSEPLATE COVERS TO THEIR COMPANY WHICH WAS FINE AS I DIDN’T WANT TO WANT BE A DRIVING ADVERTISMENT FOR MOBILTY WORKS AS THE DID NOT WANT MY BUSINESS!!

THESE WHEELCHAIR ACCESIBLE VANS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE AND I WOULD HOPE THAT THE DEALERSHIP WOULD DO WHATEVER THEY COULD TO EARN YOUR FUTURE BUSINESS WHICH IS NOT THE CASE WITH MOBILITY WORKS.. THESE OTHER 1 STARS REVIES ARE ACCURATE AS THEY ARE DRIVEN TO MAKE SALES BUT LACK CUSTOMER SERVICE BEYOND THAT..

IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A WHEEL CHAIR ACCESISBLE VAN I URGE YOU TODO THE RESEARCH, USE THE DEALERSHIP OR MOBILTY EXPO TO SEE WHICH CAR MANUFACTURE AND CONVERSION TYPE WILL WORK BEST FOR YOU.. THEN TRY TO BUY FROM THE MANUFACTURE DIRECTLY HAD I PURCHSED DIRECTLY FROM VANTAGE MOBILITY I WOULD OF SAVED ABOUT $10,000.. I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURE BUT I NEEDED TO TRADE IN A 2109 USED VAN THAT I HAD BOUGHT THE YEAR PRIOR MOBILTY WORKS BECAUSE IT WAS A LEMON AND HAD BEEN AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR OVER 4 MONTHS IN THE SHORT TIME I OWNED IT TRYING TO FIX ELECTRICAL ISSUES I EVENTUALLY FELT I NEEDED TO TRADE IT IN AND TOOK A BIG LOSS SINCE THEY GAVE ME NEXT TO NOTHING FOR THE TRADE IN EVEN THOUGHT I HAD PUT A LOT OF MONEY DOWN ON IT. I WAS GOING TO LET IT GO BUT NOW I THINK I MAY WANT TO PERSUE LEGAL ACTION SINCE HOW I’VE BEEN TREATED WITH THIS MOST RECENT REPLAIR..

Don't waste your time or your breath. Call them free todd's kept getting transferred around. Finally got to the parts departments Voicemail. Left 2 messages. Never got a call back. Bought everything I Wanted on Amazon.

I wish could give 0 stars! I purchased a van and put 22,000 cash. I have been having problems with the accessible equipment! Spent close to 2,000 and it still isn't working. THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND NON- CONCERNED. The manager Phil is even worse l. They don't care. They sold me a rollx van and the salesperson admitted to me they aren't experienced in working on these vans. I'm paying for a van I cannot drive. I'm going to speak for all of us who have been ripped off in c court. That's a promise

Condescending, RUDE, and perceived discriminatory practices.

I had an unsatisfactory experience with the representatives at the Florida location. Specifically, I found Marlon's demeanor to be disagreeable as he appeared unwilling to address pertinent inquiries, and his demeanor suggested a lack of regard, possibly due to my gender. Furthermore, his responses were curt and expressed condescension. Conversely, my interaction with Molly was generally acceptable in relation to the discussion of applying with a specific credit union. However, the conduct of the finance manager, Brett, was unprofessional when he proceeded to submit an application with an alternative financial institution without authorization, demonstrating discourtesy. I perceived discrimination based on age when my 82-year-old grandmother, possessing excellent credit but in need of a co-signer, was denied. This notion is reinforced by the subsequent approval of her application, without a co-signer, through a different company/dealer. It is noteworthy that this alternate entity made use of the credit union previously discussed.

Mobility Works has the best people…

Mobility Works has the best people working for them. They are thorough & helpful . Our ramp & platform is excellent ! Dealing with kind & honest people was such a pleasure.. We are beyond grateful to Mobility Works . We will only refer to them… Thankful for Javier & Mike everything complete in three days from initial meeting !

Very unhappy customer they are a dishonest company

We got a van from Jay Hatfield now Mobility Works. John brought it to us we purchased the extended warranty and we have had nothing but problem with the van 2 weeks after we got it. Drove it from Oklahoma to Kansas many times with just a big run around and every time we took it there no matter what the problem was the extended warranty never covered anything on it. We was told they would by it back if we no longer needed it and wouldn’t give us hardly anything on it and because of the type of conversion they put on it. They are a dishonest company stay clear of Mobility Works on Eat Kellogg they will tell you something and not do it they will rip you off

Bought a van overplayed nobody wants to help…

I bought this van 1year ago never have driven it my husband condition worst I paid to much fir this van I ask mobility to try and sell it but they said nobody buys Chrysler I owe 60,000 the be paid for conversion 44,000 so why the hell I still owe my husband is a veteran mobility won’t help at all do I’m going to let the va know that mobility won’t return my calls I got a text 3weeks after I begged for help they said we don’t but Chrysler nobody wants them so here we are can’t use the van has 200 miles on it not driven

Completely unprofessional

Completely unprofessional, unpleasant, pushy, and down right rude. Will not return there for any purchases nor service in the future. Best thing would be to see them out of business to protect the unsuspecting public.

Stay Away From MobilityWorks

The technician messed up with the installation. He installed the bracket too far to the back of the wheelchair that's why the stabilizer couldn't reach the anti-tipper. When my wife stepped on brake, the whole wheelchair fell forward. My left knee banged the front console, and my forehead banged on the dashboard. The managers refused to listen and refused to fix the problem. She hang up on me when I explained the problem to her. Spend your money somewhere else and definitely stay away from Ms. Tammy, Ms. Janet and Steve because they have no integrity, no customer service skills and very unprofessional. They are definitely ruining the reputation of Mobility Works.

Not a company you want to deal with!

Took Two vehicles there. One had the lyft serviced and the other I just wanted a simple stretcher lock installed. Well, the first thing they told me when I walked in door was, we expect payment when you pick this vehicle up. They told be me I had to make arrangements with the store in charlotte to have the stretcher lock installed. These people are so confused and rude!!!!! The store in charlotte never gave me a price or an appointment. The only thing I received was a rude email that contained incorrect information and clearly letting me know they were not interested in installing my locks. Management is not up to date with equipment on the market. I would not refer anyone the this company.

Hello, I have EMC equipment and was told that I would still be able to come to the Green Bay location when you bought out GT Mobility. I need service done and was just told that I cannot go to GB. I feel like MW doesn't care about their clients.

Predatory sales people

Predatory sales people, selling high priced vehicles to a vulnerable population. They knowingly sell ( wheelchair accessible)vehicles with major issues that require expensive repairs. My van was purchased in May of 2022, less than a year later, electrical failure, engine failure and sway bar broken in half with poor(incorrect parts) repairs, This could have caused a major accident and maybe even killed us. This is a 2020 van and I expected it to be in good working order. I was told this car had never been in an accident and had no recalls. Both of which is a lie-clearly. A Chrysler dealership informed me of the recalls, began repairs and hopefully after having no car for more than a week- it could be fixed. I called Mobility works and spoke to the service manager who was rude, condescending and actually tried to blame us for not reaching out since purchasing the car "10 months ago". He was attempting to gaslight me and even said we never had the car there for service- WHICH WE DID. In summary, DO NOT USE this company. Dishonest and uncaring management and sales. Now have thousands of dollars to pay to an honest dealer as they try to make this car safe. I am on the hook for a car payment of nearly 900/month for a POS.

Stair lift installed December 28 still…

Stair lift installed December 28 still tnot fully functional it’s now January 26th. Called over and over no response. Now they say there is a charge for cancelling my loan

Don't get ripped off!

I bought a used car, already converted for disability, from this place. It took a long time to get it because they said they wanted to make sure that everything was right. Unfortunately, I had Covid and a broken shoulder, and was too sick to really do my homework. I do blame myself for not taking the time to have another mechanic look at the car. I bought it and within two weeks the transmission light went on. I took it to a repair shop and found out that nothing had ever been maintained. It cost me about $1400 to fix it. I Called Mobility Works, told them my story, but they never got back to me. I made several more calls to Mobility Works, but they never got back to me. I know there is now nothing I can do about this, but I certainly would never go back there, and hope no one ever allows them to do that lying and to take advantage of them.

Poor communication

Booked an appointment with them, Got 11am. They confirmed, via phone and email. I started phoning at 11:30, three calls and another 30 minutes, yielded that no one was coming. The tech that was assigned told me he doesn’t service my area and someone should have told me.
