Multiple incidents where they lied to me about a new battery being in the phone when it was a old one, would send me emails that werent meant for me, horrible services in general

They use old parts and don't reply to refunds. Should be taken to court for false advertisement.

This I had purchased a phone yesterday and brought it back today advising we experiencing few issues with the phone such as while using the phone the screen goes blank for some time and then comes back and while charging the different screens starts to show up and you got the technician to have a look and was told to replace it which I appreciated.

I was to go and do few things and come back in a hour and half to 2 hours. Which I did and when I came back all the retail people were busy with customers and so my son and I were patiently waiting for our turn and then a couple walk in and were waiting for their turn as well.

And then this lady walked in after all of us and when a retail person got free and it was my turn after waiting for 15 mins this lady walked ahead before me and ignored all of us.

I told the lady and the retail person I and the couple have been waiting before her. The right thing to do was for the retail person to tell that lady sorry I have to serve these people as they been waiting before you. Do you think we have time to waste.

The lady didn’t even have the courtesy to say sorry but my thing won’t take long and if we don’t mind letting her go before us I would have considered that. That lady was rude and your retail person saw this when I told the lady we are before her and she rudely said wait for your turn when it was my turn.

Instead she still got served first and that lady said she was couple before waiting somewhere else and I did the same I was waiting for couple of hours of the phone I only purchased yesterday.

Firstly you sell a phone that has issues and then I come back after 2 hours and no there waiting there before and I patiently waited for my and some lady who just walk after myself and a couple and gets served is first.

Very disappointed by the service I received. I will sadly not be recommending Mobile City to anyone.

I took the phone back just over a year, with same problem saying no sim. I thought well they where helpful last time. Since it was the same issue , I thought well they'll help me no not at all since it was over 12 months from when they fixed the problem they didn't want to help without charging me, If the same problem its should be sorry about that we're take care of it. No they knew this was a common problem was signal cable 80 bucks then it was the mother board, anyway I would never do business with Mobile city

Mobil city is not a scam. They are great! I have brought 3 phones from them. They have good customer service online and instore. Don't believe everyone's comments just cause something hasn't gone their way. I'm sure if you contacted them, they'd give you the help you need. Instead you choose to abuse them and their buiness.

Bought a Xiaomi mobile through these people. Sound is not working properly I struggle to make phone calls keeps cutting off. The speaker even when on highest you can hardly hear the other side. I asked for a replacement. After numerous emails and requests from them to send recordings with evidence, they told me to speak directly with Xiaomi to send it for repair. But it's brand new so I should get a new one not a faulty repaired one. Never shopping from there again!

Really wish I had read reviews before I had purchased.
I got my son a phone for Christmas eventually got him a sim card 2 weeks later for no service to appear.
Contacted mobile city to be told to send phone back which I did then to be informed the phone has water damage and it is going to cost $155 to fix and $40 to send me the phone back.

Explained the phone has not been near any water and was working perfectly apart from sim was told about a water mark asked where is the picture before they sent me phone out of no water damage they didn't take one as proof???
I then asked about their complaints procedure to be told they don't have one?!?!?!

Scammers , bought a phone from them doesn’t connect to wifi and the wifi can’t turn on at all on the phone neither can the Bluetooth which is weird not even 4 days having it and it kept restarting itself … took it back took them over 3 hours to swap it for a new iPhone and the new iPhone the screen looks as. If it has a pixel filter on constantly they didn’t even give my SIM card back from the first phone which sucks mobile city

Purchased a pristine grade iPhone 11 Pro Max in store,
phone looked in great condition as described, staff member was very helpful.
No complaints so far, phone is operating as it should.

One of the products is defective. I contacted them but no response.

Very Very good service I buy phones from this company and they deliver them in time also anything goes wrong with the phone they replace it with another phone thanks mobile city I will definitely recommend my friends to buy your products

Bought a charger.from mobile city but never received it.

I purchased a phone from here, they were claiming that the phone is "A Grade" but all sides of the phone was very sticky, and lots of glues around it, you could see inside of the phone from the wide open edges of it because of broken glues, I returned it, but they were still saying that the phone is "A Grade"! They also claimed that there was a headphone inside the box with it, but when they saw the CCTV videos, they themselves have forgotten to put the headphones in the box! What is your idea about A Grade phone?

Bought a refurbished Note 8. Took 35 secs for every call to get connected. Missed calls, texts etc. Often unable to get internet connection. Many apps on phone in Asian language. Put up with it and contacted them, no help. Wanted phone returned but would wipe everything. Got sick of it all, would never use again.

I normally don't write reviews. I did find this store a treasure. Their staff spent an afternoon patiently explaining their power lift chair line. The different brands and how different chairs accommodate different height and weight needs. They have a full line of products for anyone which mobility issues which my husband has. I saw products that I have not seen elsewhere and I have been looking. They not only have a full product line but also make repairs on site and sell replacement parts. I will going back to them for years to come. My daughter-in-law recommended this place as they helped her with her mother. We both love them.

Bought a phone off them 2 weeks ago and had to send it back because the wifi wasn't working at all on the phone was told to send it back to them straight away i did on the Monday it arrived the next day and they didnt send a replacement until late Thursday afternoon has been another week and i still have not received the replacement phone

Scamming!
Bought Iphone 11 Pro couple days ago and got scammed. Price was as every were but liked delivery, was written will come in couple days ( so it was). When my phone came to me notice its not working properly, start looking in google to solve problem and than notice in sellers description on web page that phone have defect and that function is not working. In stead of putting defect description in visually visible place with big letters they put in on very bottom of page with weary small leathers so no one can see it and ask for refund! Scammed me on 950 NZD. Now got useless brick why reminds me how I got scammed even in "friendly" New Zealand. Delivery was weary fast but that way as I got scammed. Dont recommend to buy there nothing, big chance you get useless peace of brick as I got.

Always daunting spending hundreds of dollars online especially during a lock down but I asked questions and Mobile City responded until I was comfortable enough to order my Iphone X. I needed it urgently for my son and it was on a courier once payment showed up and I received it 48 hours later. The phone was in excellent condition as described and came in a sturdy box well packaged. I am very happy with the phone plus the 6 months warranty so much so that when I need a new phone I will be buying from Mobile City again. It all comes tracked and I was getting quick replies when I asked questions so this makes a big difference when dealing with Trade me purchases.

My screen stopped working during the Level 4 lockdown. As an essential service, Mobile City repaired it and delivered it back to me, all the while keeping me updated and making sure that Level 4 expectations were adhered to. Excellent service!
