An awesome private tour of the Pretoria and Soweto areas! Our guide, Thomas, was 5 star all the way! He knew lots of culture and history of this area. My husband and I knew very little South African history, so this was very educational as well as a wonderful day of site seeing. We saw monument to White Settlers, Apartheid museum, President's office and home with stops at Nelson Mandelas home to name a few of the many highlights. Thomas worked very hard to be sure we saw as much as possible in our one day tour of Jo'burg! We highly recommend Moafrica tours as well as Thomas! Thanks for an awesome day!!!

The whole tour was so beautifully run. From the pick-up and drop-off at our hotel to the awesome safari and lunch, the experience was unparalleled. The tour guide (Petros) was so much fun and had so many tidbits of folklore and knowledge for us to enjoy, and was so good at finding animals for us to see. We even saw a mother lion and her cubs walking along the road, a mother rhinoceros and her baby and two male elephants in a duel! I highly recommend the tour. My only suggestion would be to bring your own binoculars. Luckily some of the other passengers had some and shared them with us.

Great big 5 experience

We were lucky enough to be picked up by the very enthusiastic Jeffrey for our full day Kruger Park safari. Jeffrey was an absolute delightful end from the start, informing us of the plan for the day then safely driving us for 1.5hrs from our hotel to the park. He provided ponchos to keep us warm (we won’t mention the right hand side panel Jeffrey hahaha!!). And the press-ups!! What a man :)

Due to Jeffrey’s knowledge and constant communication, we were lucky to see ALL of the big five - twice for the leopard! And absolutely unbelievable seat from start to finish.

Highly recommended and a truly wonderful experience for myself and my family. Thank you moafrika, but more importantly - thank you Jeffrey!

Lambs was great! So funny and so good explaining us the way of the land. He made it very easy and made us feel safe!

Lambs was great! Super funny very knowledgeable of the local wildfire, excellent driver (really dominantes the road), would highly recommend again.

What a great experience to visit Krueger National Park with my family. Lambs, our guide, was awesome. He talked with other guides and pointed out many different animals. Highlight was a lion with a recent kill. Just a thrill for all of us to visit this beautiful place.

I did the three day toning tour staying at the campsite, which was super comfortable and had a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are some of the warmest and most hospitable people I have met. Megan is a top tour guide, Tim is an all round legend, and Chef Azaer cooks some of the best food I’ve had in SA. Many thanks to all them for making my stay and safaris so amazing!

5 start review for Lance our guide in Kruger! We got to see the big 5, and Lance was a big part of this. He’s talking to all the other drivers, getting information from everyone and speeding from sight to sight so you get to see everything! And also stops and slows down to explain things along the way. And on top of that he’s a funny guy that was easy going with everyone around. Loved the vibe and the entire experience!

Anja we did a bush walk with that was A LOT more interesting and fun then expected. Nice with an up close experience after lots of driving.

We also did several other tours, that were all pretty good! They are very down to earth and friendly guides ☺️

Excellent full day tour with Tinyiko. Gracefully answered all our questions with candour and humour. Deep knowledge of life in Johannesburg and Soweto. Visiting an informal settlement was a visceral way to appreciate the realities of life in this city. Highly recommended for a spare day in this city.

Our transfer driver was Niki / he was amazing. I was a solo female traveller and I felt super safe with his care, super safe driving. He even stopped for me when we saw some wildlife on the way there. Peaceful experience. Place chosen for a pit stop to get a drink was great. I stayed at Black Rhino Game Lodge and highly recommend. All up I would 100% do it again and recommend to friends and family. Thank you.

One of our party (6) could not travel due to Gulf War and MoAfrica were the only company of four tour operators not to give a refund for a city tour, even though we gave 2 weeks notice. There customer service follow up was very poor and used safari T&C's (which were not applicable) as a mechanism not to refund. We would not reccomend as there are plenty other tour operators in the area.

We have stayed at the Sekekama Tented Camp and have done the 4 night, 5 day experience. Our experience has been nothing but top notch. This place gives you the utmost glamping experience. The staff are so very welcoming, kind and helpful. The tents are comfortable and the restrooms/showers are not far from the tents, they are in the early process of adding on toilets and showers to the tents, which will be good for future guests but honestly having to walk a few steps isn’t that bad. The tents are provided with towels, extra blankets, staff tidy up your tents when you’re out enjoying the area, which was unexpected, but definitely appreciated. It has been a great experience meeting the other guests from all over the world and chatting with them at dinners. The meals that the staff make are so good. They care about dietary restrictions or preferences, not that we had any but they did ask us when we arrived. We had a sunset drive which was a few hours and we saw a few animals but unfortunately due to the abnormal weather of being rainy we didn’t see it but that was ok, we still enjoyed getting out of the truck, having a drink and some snacks and enjoyed looking for animals in the dark (lions). We did Kruger National Park on the second day and even though it was cold and rainy at some points Jeffery our guide provided us with ponchos. Jeffery was so informative during the entire day, we were so very lucky to see all the animals that we did and he was so patient when we stopped to see them. We saw 4/5 of the Big 5 plus so many other animals a couple even rare ones. We had done the panoramic tour to God’s Window and the Pinnacles, Lisbon and Berlin Falls, Bourke’s Luck and Theee Rondavels. Unfortunately, we couldn’t go to the first two because of the weather and the fog was so thick you couldn’t see anything but the other places definitely made up for it. The scenery during the drive was spectacular, I do suggest though if you get motion sickness easily take motion sickness meds with you, I don’t get motion sickness but I felt queasy coming back, the roads are very curvy and you’re going high on altitude. It is worth it in the end though, so take one before you go and before you come back down the mountains. MoAfrika tours so far has been absolutely amazing. The staff from the reps to the people shuttling guests around are the best. I was in contact with Hylie and she is most definitely an angel for always keeping us in the loop and being in constant contact with us through WhatsApp, truly a gem!!!
I did a lot of research before coming to South Africa and doing the safari. 3 days is not enough!!! 5 days is perfect!!! We still have two more days that include Kruger again and we may even do a sunrise drive the day we leave! If you’re in doubt of going with MoAfrika, don’t be. It was a very good choice!!!!
