I was comparing local surveying companies when I discovered MJD. From submitting an enquiry, to receiving the full report their customer service has been fantastic. They're very responsive with their communication, the report was carried out and sent through promptly, and they were also very affordable compared to other companies. Would highly recommend them!

MJD Residential Surveying were great! The works have been performed by Max, and right after the visit I have got a call from him in which he thoroughly explained to me all the issues that he had identified in the property. The report has been provided within a week and contained all the details which Max has explained to me before. I have ordered Level 3 report for a Victorian terrace, and this was the right decision. The report has highlighted the issues which were not mentioned by the estate agency and that changed completely the purchase price. I am very grateful to Max for his thorough work and detailed report as it helped me to make the right decision about the property. I would definitely recommend MJD Residential Surveying and will ask for their help again when needed.

This is my second time using MJD as I was so impressed initially. Both times the surveys were booked in quickly and the report was ready 2 days later. I had feedback directly with Max the surveyor on the same day to run through his findings. He was extremely helpful and personable. MJD carried out a survey for us in early January and my wife and i were so impressed with the thoroughness of the survey information together with the volume of property photographs.
It was an easy process from start to finish.
Had numerous quotes from various companies of similar nature but the fact they were a family business stood out for me and was the main reason i chose them to carry out the survey.
I would have no hesitation in recommending MJD for a painless process and a clear, thorough and detailed survey itself.

We were delighted with MJD Residential Surveying. Firstly, their fee was highly competitive and we feel they went above and beyond. Booking was simple and they quickly accommodated our timescale. On the day, we received a message to confirm the survey had taken place, as well as Max calling us, the same afternoon, to give a really thorough verbal walk through. He was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and took time to answer our questions. We really appreciated this so thank you Max. As it was booked for the week of Christmas, we were not expecting the written report until some time in the new year, but it arrived three days later (on the 23rd of December no less) which gave my husband and I time to discuss (and dissect!) over Christmas, this was wonderful. The report itself was superb, very detailed and included lots of pictures. From previous surveys we have had as well as surveys I have seen, this is easily one of the best and most detailed. We would like to thank MJD Residential Surveying and Max for their excellent attention to detail, recommendations and communication.
