Great gadget
The Milessey Genesonic Pro is simply awesome. The sound quality of the speaker and the removable GPS is super accurate.
My only complaint is that I still have not been able to measure any shots. I follow the instructions but does not work for me. I checked for firmware updates and I have the latest. Not sure what is going on. But besides that the gadget is solid!

We understand how frustrating it can be when shot tracking doesn’t work as expected, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
This is a workflow change introduced in our recent firmware update to improve measurement accuracy. Previously, the unit used the tee-box center as the automatic starting point. Now, every shot, including the opening drive, requires a manually marked start point before marking the end point. Subsequent shots automatically use the previous end position as the new start point.
For tee shots, simply mark your starting point on the tee box before hitting your drive, then mark the end point once you reach your ball. The drive distance should then be displayed.

The speaker works fine and sounds great. Some of the features like the shot tracking needs better explanation on how to use. All the features on the detachable works great and syncing with the app is easy. Overall a great product

Change your shipper to FedEx or UPS. Mine sat at multiple post offices for days took over 2 weeks to arrive with a destroyed package I believe was repacked to look like it wasn’t damaged. I reached out to you twice with slow responses and no real help. Review of device:
I have used mine a few times now. Battery died with no warning on speaker but the GPS screen still runs. Very confused when I had no music. I also wish it wasn’t so sensitive to hole changes, on tight courses it get confused if you are in the rough between 2 holes. It also should come with some sort of bag or basic case to keep it protected in my bag. The app is pretty good for a basic app other than 2 tabs for 9 or 18 holes when tracking scores. It takes a few uses to get use to it. Overall I enjoy the gps portion the most.

Have had a really good experience so…
Have had a really good experience so far but with one exception and it’s really a nitpick. When you are on the screen showing the full hole you’re playing (from tee to green). The yardage numbers could be a little larger when dragging the cursor to any point on the screen

Really like the unit my only disappointment is the fact that the screen keeps going black all the time you have to tap on it several times to get to come back up. I’ve tried the update but still have the same issue. I wish the battery lasted longer than just one round of golf on the speaker part.

Regarding the screen timeout, this feature is designed to help preserve battery life during a full 18-hole round. You can extend the screen-on time by going to Settings > Screen Off, turning Screen Saver off, and selecting the maximum duration (15 minutes).
For waking the screen, please try double-tapping the same spot on the screen (tapping different areas may activate the anti-mistouch protection), or simply press the power button on the side of the handheld.
Regarding battery life, it can vary depending on usage. Frequent screen operation, continuous GPS use, and playing louder music with stronger bass can consume more power.

Great speaker and GPS
This is a great product, quality construction. The speaker attaches securely to the golf cart, and the sound is crisp. The GPS loaded promptly on the course and was accurate. We are still learning all the features, but so far so good! The only thing was with the sun, the glare occasionally made it hard to read, but it may just need a screen adjustment so will check into that. We also adjusted it so it didn't go to "sleep" so quickly. And the GPS is very secure in the speaker-it's not going anywhere (ladies beware of nails-I had my husband disengage ours so I didn't chip or break a nail). Looking forward to using it in the future on all the courses we play!

So I've used my GeneSonic Pro now for 4…
So I've used my GeneSonic Pro now for 4 rounds and I have mixed feelings. The speaker is good, lacks a little bass compared to my friend's JBL speaker. The issue I have is I play at a course which has three 9 hole courses. At the end of the first nine, we switch to another and I can't find an easy way to get back to the select course screen to pick the new nine. Is there an easy way to do this without powering the whole unit off?

Regarding the course switching issue — we understand the inconvenience when playing courses with multiple 9-hole layouts. Currently, there isn't a direct way to switch to a different 9-hole course mid-round. To select a new 9-hole course, the current round needs to be ended first.

Mileseey Golf Speaker
Item arrived pretty fast and packaged very well. Product seems to have issues communicating with the app. Also shot tracking has issues. Tracking shots and inputting scores could be made easier (access from main screen). I'm hoping that adjustments can be made through user comments.
This unit has great capabilities but has a large price tag for how it currently performs.
The unit does have good sound but could be better with the ability to add more bass.
The battery life has been great on the first few uses and it charges pretty quick as well.
At this point I don't think I could recommend it at its current price range. If the app and unit are adjusted to user recommendations then my opinion will change.

I wish when you tracked your shot on…
I wish when you tracked your shot on the handheld it shows the stats of the swing showing it was saved. Instead it just shows 2 dashes where I feel it should be showing. Randomly it jumps holes which I thought was because, it was in my pocket but proved that wrong. Detail on handheld is great, adjusting pin location is great and sound is amazing. The App says to pair with phone and i do as requested, but then doesn't go to the next step. Just says to pair which I did unsync the pairing multiple times to see if would resolve but hasn't. I sent in an email support ticket and no response yet. When works smooth, its great and very accurate on the stand alone GPS! Compared the read with my buddies range finder. Because of issues I gave 3 and depending on when/if I heard back in my pairing issue could move to a 2 star or 4 star.
