Michael Spiers Plymouth are first class retailers of fine watches & jewellery, but that is not all. I have made two watch purchases from the Plymouth branch of Michael Spiers and on both occasions I have had fantastic service from James Burke. When my wife & I first went into the Plymouth shop several years ago, James made such a positive impression on us with his friendly approach and product knowledge. In my quest for a specific Rolex watch, I kept in contact with him and he with me, until finally, this month, he telephoned me to let me know he had the model I had been waiting for and it was available for purchase, should I still require it. I made an appointment immediately to visit him to view it. I purchased it on the spot and he took great time and care to make sure it fitted well and was exactly what I had hoped for. I would not hesitate to recommend James to anyone wishing to purchase that special item and to have enjoyment from the process.

My first visit to Michael Spires Exeter was nothing to do with Rolex. However, I was invited to talk to the Rolex sales woman (N.S.), who, after showing me a couple of models, asked if I would like to register my interest (the infamous "list").
I did register with them, but, this is the important part. I did not go in with any designs around viewing or getting on the Rolex waiting list. I was offered.
Fast forward nearly a year. I pop in to see how things are progressing to be told outright I don't have enough sales history and the watch I was invited to register interest in, was not achievable for me. There were cheaper models that were achievable for me, or I could pay £3k more than a brand new model for one that was 13 years old.
Talk about being made to feel unworthy, and in front of my child.
The arrogance is staggering.
My experience of this shop is the epitome of every negative thing I have read about Rolex dealers.

I want to say a big thank you to Hanna and the team for a first class experience at Michael Spiers, and a massive big thank you to Josh for taking care of me through out, his knowledge and expertise is second to none.

A really friendly store in Exeter where they took time to listen to my requests and help me through the process of achieving the products I wanted. Also offered a great service on the refurbishment of an old time piece which was returned to me as new. I’d highly recommend for anyone in the South West.

I have been dealing with Michael Spiers Plymouth for many, many years now.
But I must say, that their current team have looked after me so incredibly well, in going above and beyond my expectations.
They make you feel very special and even managed to find me my dream watch for my 60th birthday.
I have to give a very special mention to Emma and Simon, who really are a credit to the company.
It's not very often you find good old fashioned values and customer service.
But this was exactly what I received from all the team.
I'd highly recommend anyone looking for a special piece of jewellery or a beautiful timepiece, to look no further than this exemplary company.

Today was the second occasion that I have visited the shop in Exeter. Today as previously from the moment you approach the shop you are greeted by the very friendly and welcoming staff.
The shop itself is immaculate and the staff could not be more helpful.

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to Gemma at the Taunton branch. The first impression i got when Gemma picked up the phone was first class and very professional on the phone. I was enquiring about a Brietling watch that they had on their website, she told me that someone else was interested in it she took my number and I'll call you back with a update. She called me back and asked if it was the 42mm or 44mm I said the 44, she says it's still available, I asked for photos and video of the watch due to me being in Atherton miles away from Taunton. Gemma sent me what I asked for not longer after,so i purchased the watch and this was a simple process to do. Watch arrived today on time just had she promised very well packaged with all the paperwork. It was a pleasure to business with Michael Spires and Gemma keep up the good work. Thanks again Mr Lee.

The Exeter team are wonderful they managed to get a watch in and We travelled 250 miles because we love the customer service and felt valued. We will definitely be back. Thank you to Max for spending time with us in November and for the call from Jeramy and the appointment on the day this week with Lee, it was worth another trip down.
