Have used Miblart twice now for my book covers and am very happy! Communication very good, followed my ideas and changes - there is a bit of time delay back and forth (mainly from me!) so don't do it in a rush. Will definitely be using them for the rest of the series and all further books - thanks guys!

Excellent book cover service with affordable prices. When you order original illustrations, they send multiple drafts so you can see there's a real, human artist at work.

MiblArt prepared an illustrated cover for me (i.e., not photo-based) for ebook, paper, and hardcover. I provided concept ideas. I was very happy with the quality of the illustration and design work, and with the ease of the process. Turn times on new versions were very reasonable, feedback was appropriate, communication was easy. I paid for several "extras" such as illustration with multiple characters. I feel like I got great value for my money and a process that was totally no-stress.

I am a repeat customer and have always been pleased with Mibl's service. The team is very responsive and prompt on turnaround. Designers are willing to work with you to achieve your vision. To get the best results, be as specific as possible. Give details of what you do and what you do not want to see. I have had no issues working with them and will bring my business back!

Project Manager Tania worked with my challenging need for a post-WW2 historical suspense novel and she and the designer came up with innovative solutions on the first take. Tania remained professional throughout several changes to get details perfect. A hearty brava!

This was my first time working with Miblart after 2 covers with another company and one with a graphic designer. I gave my ideas up front and then they asked for pictures of covers I liked. It took only a few weeks and then the cover came back EXACTLY as I had imagined it. The price was higher than the last company - but the quality was way better, and comes out about equal to what I spent with the individual artist. I also love that they sate in the FAQ that they don't use AI, that's another huge plus. They'll be doing all my covers for the foreseeable future.

My Project Manager Tania kept things on track throughout the project, despite my needing to take a break for family matters. My original concept changed as we worked with the artist, and I am very happy with the result. Tania and the artist steered the design in a direction more suitable for my genre.

The artists at Miblart did a wonderful design for my book cover. They listened carefully to the overall look and feel that I wanted and provided a great first draft. I asked for a couple of tweaks to incorporate some items from the book, and they implemented them flawlessly. Their fees were very competitive. I'm delighted with the final product and will use them again.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I think it’s important to share my experience so other independent authors know what to expect.

While I was happy with the overall concept of the cover artwork, nearly every other part of the process was disappointing.

Before I hired MiblArt, I was told my requested production files could be completed within about a week. Instead, the project stretched to more than three weeks. Delays happen, but what made the experience especially frustrating was the repeated communication breakdowns throughout the project.

I had to remind the team multiple times that I needed additional deliverables beyond what they were working on. They would acknowledge the request, but then I’d have to ask again later because those files still weren’t included.

The revision process was equally frustrating. I would send a detailed list of requested changes, but each revision typically addressed only one or two items while ignoring the rest. Since each revision cycle took one to two business days, this turned what should have been a straightforward process into a lengthy back-and-forth. It often felt like my feedback wasn’t being read in full.

The final production files introduced additional problems. Some issues that had already been corrected in earlier versions reappeared in the final delivery. Other files did not match the specifications I had originally provided, despite my supplying detailed dimensions and explaining exactly where each file would be used. I didn’t receive the final production files until after payment had been completed, and that’s when I discovered many of these issues.

The most disappointing discovery came after delivery. When I needed to make routine publishing updates, I found that many of the source files were flattened or organized in a way that made professional editing extremely difficult or, in some cases, effectively impossible. Minor production changes became hours of work, and some problems simply could not be corrected without rebuilding portions of the cover.

A professionally delivered book cover should be more than an attractive image. Authors often need to make small updates for print specifications, color profiles, metadata, or future editions. In my experience, the files I received were not prepared in a way that reasonably supported those common publishing needs.

The artwork itself was good, but the project management, communication, attention to revision requests, production quality, and organization of the final files fell well below my expectations. Based on my experience, I would not hire MiblArt again.
