Completely biased paper. Thia newspaper lobbies politicians to ban school prayer and allow drag shows in primary school.

This paper has been taken over by woke propagandists that want to turn UK into land of fairies and unicorns.

Spreads nothing but lies. Always have the complete opposite opinion than every other outlet just to "stand out".

I want to see a newspaper as a NEWSPAPER, bring back the old style. I wanted to read the comments and views and just get a load of crap!

People here and elsewhere complain that Metro is left-wing and right-wing, woke and reactionary. The views are often linked to comments that have been rejected.

Let's deal with the ownership of Metro first. Metro is effectively controlled by Viscount Rothermere, who owns the controlling interest in the Daily Mail and General Trust. Rotheremere took over as Chair of the Trust in September 2022. Before that, it was run by Paul Zwillenberg, formerly of Boston Global Consulting. I think we can discount the suggestions that the Metro (and Daily Mail) have "huge left wing bias" advocate "the cult of woke" or "written for PC minority" - all views expressed here.

Comments get deleted if they break guidelines. Fair enough. What also seem to happen is that comments that do not break guidelines, but get reported as breaking them, are not checked but simply pulled.

I imagine this happens because its cheaper to allow people on the right and the left or with other axes to grind to partake in cancel culture rather than employ more moderators.

I tried emailing Metro to point out that comments I had made that broke no guidelines had been pulled. The reply that came back was garbled.

On the plus side, Metro still allows comments when not all media outlets do.

Hi,is not about newspapers itself, its about the tube strike, and the miserable management with the buses. Is not possible to wait for one hour a bus, and this one full of people.

The crosswords are okay and that's about it. Clearly funded by those pushing whatever the current agenda is and with a huge left wing bias.

Constantly having my comments rejected as they say my comments are against their rules. Personally i think they are bullies, as none of my comments were racist or offensive. Will use Sky News from now on.

They cannot report the news without their cult woke religion imbuing everything. They now seem to have their logo on the website in LGBEODUTQ++++ colours, all year round. They then publish articles about how been woke is the only way a person should be, because being any other way is a sin.
Good Lord, who reads it? Because their articles are listed in Twitter trending all the time through the week, and yet, their tweets never have any interaction on them.... so.... how are they trending? Or, does trending mean they're paying for placement, and if so, where is a money coming from when it seems like they basically have no audience?

You can hardly navigate it , comments almost impossible to load , it’s almost like one if those pop up spam porn sites , in fact it’s functionally worse . They’re so desperate for advertisers that they’ve killed the site and with it their jobs what a bunch of morons . Also I’m not a fan of Ryan Giggs but his ex has been proven to be lying 🤥 and given the headlines I’d say it’s pretty deplorable journalism. The sooner the metro dies the better . Make sure you check GDPR AND COOKIES. I was astonished with thee amounts of automated on' option of 100s of various companies after your data which are paired with mirror. Just be very vigilant and go through all COOKIES and concent before accepting. There were that many that was turned on I gave up on the actual news !!!!!

Metro have had multiple ban waves on the Facebook page. One wave was on BLM, when the British public were sick of hearing about Sir Floyd of Fentanyl and watching London and the States get set on fire, anyone who said anything negative about the fraudulent (factually correct) BLM movement was blocked from posting.

Another time Metro posted a clear obvious bait article on transvestite storytime. For those who don't know this was a Canadian event where Men dressed in skimpy drag, went to read books to understand 5s' in nurseries. And again, anyone who dared to suggest this was abhorrent behaviour was labelled a bigot.

The only purpose of the Metro now is to use a fake account and see how long you can post spicy memes till the admins or the woke mob notice.

Yesterday I opened my new account at Hammersmith and was served by Mila and Anfal. I want to say a huge thanks to both of them as they helped me a lot. Very friendly and helpful. Extremely happy from the service.

I didn't get to see the article I was interested in because of their cookie policy!! Normally you can decline cookies in a couple of seconds. Bad websites it's maybe 30 seconds. But metro?? After god knows how long I was still declining cookies from some of the most obscure companies ever. Anyone who just accepts their cookies won't realise who they're allowing into their phone! Absolute disgrace!!

Unreadable on a mobile phone. After a few seconds it flies back to the top of the page. Very annoying.

i personally never seen such great movement in order to make people stupid with this stupid news- i mean truly disgusting news paper - you never learn - is this the knowledge meant to uplift or be shared with the public ? ?
i mean 999% of the news are useless -i would ban this news paper if it was me - and actually put useful things that make our society productive and of nobility character - no wonder is FREE
