I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Merchant Industry (Swipe4Free), specifically with Senior Account Manager Angel Estrada.
I was applying for a merchant account for a newly registered business (January 2026), and I clearly explained multiple times that this is a new business and I do not have any prior processing statements.
However, Angel Estrada made repeated and serious errors in my application:
• He entered my business start date incorrectly as late 2020, despite me clearly stating it was registered in January 2026.
• He made typing mistakes in my business name on three separate applications.
• Because of the incorrect start date he entered, underwriting kept asking for processing statements that do not exist.
• I informed him multiple times that the information he submitted was incorrect and did not match what I provided.
Instead of correcting the errors properly, he later sent me an email stating that my application was declined as a “final decision.”
This decline appears to be the direct result of incorrect information submitted by their own Senior Account Manager, not because of my business qualifications.
This shows a lack of attention to detail, poor application handling, and unprofessional conduct — especially from someone in a senior position. These mistakes wasted my time and damaged my chances with underwriting.
I would strongly advise other business owners to carefully review everything Merchant Industry submits on their behalf, or consider working with a more competent and detail-oriented provider.
