This awful company refused to refund an order delivered to the wrong address.

After providing a receipt with total amount they added $10 for extra authorization?? This was in addition to service, fulfillment, delivery and tip fees!!
Don't use this service,,scam!!!

I have a family member buried underneath the church venue in Mayfair - told i wasnt allowed to visit?

Why did you build a food and drink venue on top of a church crypt, and then DENY family members to visit?

Awful delivery service!!! I gave them the benefit after they messed up another order. Now I have to fight to get my money back.

Product na 1,5 week ontvangen maar de maten kloppen niet en het prijskaartje was al verwijderd en zat er niet bij. Helaas is retour sturen nog een hele opgave. Je moet ze mailen naar ze komen steeds met andere oplossingen, ‘tegemoetkomingen’ enz. Maar een retour adres heb ik nog niet ontvangen. blij dat ik via achteraf betalen heb besteld.
In de laatste mail aangegeven niet meer te reageren op hun mails totdat ik het retour adres heb ontvangen ........🥵😫😡

Mercato is easy to use and customer service is personable and efficient with helping to solve problems. I'll be shopping with Mercato again, they gave me the most positive and simple online shopping experience for picking up my groceries. If it wasn't for their service and payment options, I wouldn't have been able to eat on Christmas day. Thank you so much, Andrea. You helped me get a decent meal that I wasn't expecting to have.

Mercato repeatedly lied about the status of an order over the course of several hours. I know because I communicated with the delivery courier who told me a completely different story than what Mercato was trying to feed me.
Update: It is now the next day and Mercato still has not addressed this issue in any substantive way. I suggest that, if you have the option, you use some other service. I never have a problem with Instacart!
Final Update: Mercato unilaterally canceled the order. Atrocious service!

Scammers. False advertising. Do not purchase from this place. Trust me. Garbage. Peter Luger porterhouse pictures are fake, it's all bu-----t. Trust me do t waste your funds on scammers. Let them go under for scamming and false advertising.

Shady. They have a 30 day free trial for their “Mercato Green” membership, which you get charged up front for, but you are entitled to a refund if you cancel. I cancelled and the automated thing tells me that I have my membership until a year from now. Nowhere was there a mention of a refund.

I reached out to their customer service and they did issue a refund without hassle, but I find it very suspect that I had to reach out for a refund at all. This means that people who assume that they’ll get their money back (because of the “guarantee” on their website) won’t, and it also scams people who didn’t realize that they were entitled to a refund in the first place.

This used to be my favorite spot in West Chester but it has gone so far down hill. My penne vodka was $22, I asked to add chicken and was charged an extra $11 for it without being told that was the price. When I asked if it was a mistake because having a few pieces of chicken should not cost 50% of the meal even at the fanciest restaurant, the waiter was incredibly rude and hostile. I've never experienced such poor customer experience Not to mention The food was cold, the sauce was liquid and sour and the chicken they gave me was rubbery and a very small amount.

Was thankful that the grocery was delivered right up to my door and I didn't have to pay a cent....didn't get a y help from the city or govt before ,during and after the pandemic....thankful to MERCATO for the help....it just happened....today is tge first time i re eived free gro eries and got what I wanted ...just about 2 or 3 items were not available...that's fine ...non essential

I want to highly compliment Mercato’s customer support for the prompt, courteous and professional way they resolved a problem with my order.
An important item in my family’s order was substituted by the store without my permission. I reached out to customer support expecting to hear back in a day or two. Much to my surprise and delight, they got back to me within the hour and resolved my problem to my complete satisfaction. Additionally, the customer support representative, Abner Alaniz, was both friendly and efficient. Our family will happily continue to be Mercato customers going forward.

This company is a scam. I just paid via Venmo. They charged me for the deliver and then, the shop rang to say they didn’t have most of my items. Almost immediately, Mercato charged me another $40 and then $50. Every chat I had with them was disconnected. I rang them and they said they will reimburse me in 5 days but not to expect an email. This is criminal behaviour.

NYC first time user - I ordered a total of 8 items and the 3 I actually needed were out of stock. This would be acceptable if I was told about it before check out or asked for replacements. I wasn’t. I tried calling customer service and got Cley who let me know that since the check out has already happened my options were to take the L or tell the driver I refuse the delivery and make them take it back (aka F over the driver). Since I’m not a horrible human I’m going to take the L and never ever order from here again bc I paid an arm and a leg for an order with less than 2/3 of the items I ordered and none of the items I really needed.

I started ordering through Mercato for my local grocery store, Ray's, when the pandemic started. I order once or twice a month. My order is always ready when I go to pick it up. There are occasional glitches, like when the store is out of something, but they always call to see if there's a substitute for the item, or if I want to cancel it. I appreciate the service and plan to continue using it.

Any business that takes seconds to take your money and days to return it on a cancelled order isn’t with doing business with. “Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to process, this depends totally on your bank institution.” doesn’t hold water - grub hub for example has refunded funds on cancelled or incorrect orders of mine in under 24 hours. Mercato can earn interest on such funds that are not theirs to hold.

I did give 3 reps a chance to fix this - same response from each one.

Use another service.

Not only I haven’t received my $100 for an undelivered order, but I went on the app to follow up with them through the app and they completely deleted my account. This is fraud.

Made arrangements to get picked up at MCO and taken to cruise port roundtrip. Sam did a great job and service was outstanding. Vehicles were very clean.

I had great delivery but I had credit in my account an y’all took it out an my credit was suppose to roll over how dear y’all take my damn credit from me
