Amazing, I would highly recommend to everyone. I booked an ADHD assessment on 06.03, had my assessment on 08.03 and then my report was sent out, followed by my first tiration appointment the next week. So worth it, many thanks to Mike for being so helpful and putting any concerns to rest.

I found the whole experience calm and approachable. I was nervous at first, but was soon put at ease, and felt in a comfortable space to give honest and open answers.
I found the process of applying for the request easy and quick. The company are efficient, Thank you.

I don’t usually leave reviews, whether positive or negative, but I wanted to share my experience in case it helps anyone considering Mentalwell for an ADHD assessment.

From the initial assessment through to medication titration, the entire process has been excellent. I was quite nervous at the start, but Dr Timothy immediately put me at ease and made the assessment feel comfortable and supportive.

My most recent titration review was with Carl, who was equally professional and a real credit to the company. I’ve also found the admin team to be very responsive and any queries I’ve had by email have been answered quickly and helpfully.

Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience and would highly recommend Mentalwell to others.

Little expensive, but mostly worth the money

Booking was incredibly easy, and I got an appointment within 48 hours. My appointment was with Dr. Sherleen Soobramoney, who was amazing. I very quickly felt comfortable, and throughout the assessment she was able to help me understand very well how ADHD had affected me in my life, along with reassuring me about things I was worried about. I would absolutely recommend.

I cannot commend the doctor I saw enough she was amazing it was difficult recalling memories from my childhood that I had locked away my doctor eased me through with skill and endearment. I am truly grateful; it was a shock finally being diagnosed with ADHD with autistic tendencies at 62 however my doctor explained everything with professionalism whilst also being extremely supportive and caring.

I contacted Mentalwell recently in my late 40's and I was diagnosed with ADHD. They were very professional and all the members of staff have put me at my ease and explained things so clearly. I have been very impressed especially with the ongoing zoom appointment for follow up checks.

Thank you for your understanding and patience with my daughter. The staff are fantastic the service is immaculate! Would highly recommend.

False and Misleading Advertising – Avoid

I cancelled a titration appointment after receiving a positive assessment because I discovered that the advertised “letter writing service” is misleading. Instead of providing the letter described during the process, they only offer a brief summary of the diagnosis, which is not what was represented.

I cancelled the titration appointment on 11 March 2026 and requested a refund for the appointment scheduled for 17 March 2026. Rather than processing the refund, I was drawn into a prolonged back-and-forth via email. Initially, I was told that my refund request was being handled. I was then later informed that no refund was due because no payment had been made, despite the fact that payment was made by my husband on 10 March 2026.

The entire process has been stressful and extremely frustrating. There is no phone number or direct contact, only generic email responses and a single email address to communicate with, which makes resolving issues very difficult.

Overall, this has been a very poor experience and I would not recommend this service. From my experience, the process feels heavily geared towards taking payments while leaving consumers with very limited support if something goes wrong.

I was seen within 48 hours and the Doctor I saw was kind, compassionate and patient.

I am a registered nurse and spent almost a year deciding which provider to use. I chose this company based on the reviews and also how good the website was. The appointments were perfect, the report was very detailed and the psychiatrist was a good listener. The titration appointments are fantastic and the gentleman, Carl, who does them absolutely loves his job and is so devoted to his patients. I’m delighted I picked this place.

They missed my first appointment with zero explanation so I was left waiting online for an hour. After rearranging a 2nd appointment they then had technical issues and kept my hanging online for 45 minutes before I gave up again.
Terrible communication and awful experience. Avoid this company. I luckily managed to get a full refund.

I'm undergoing titration for ADHD.
It's been a crazy punishing experience.
Consistently late appointment scheduling and delays caused by poor and onerous administrative processes that have left me without medication for days after every review appointment.
I have been very poorly supported in maneuvering these processes and have only got help when I have complained repeatedly.
Clinicians are excellent but admin isdiabolical.
My previous detailed review was deleted because company reported it as defamatory; I'd have had to collate and submit 3 months of correspondence to prove my experiences were real to have it posted, so I hope this will help others.

I wanted to explore an ADHD diagnosis for some time but was conscious about how the media portrays private companies. I did my research, could see mental well was a new organisation, checked cqc registration and other reviews. Took the plunge. Their website is open and transparent about costs, routes and how things work which I really liked, very straight forward and easy.

I booked the assessment on the 2nd Jan and had an appointment on the 4th. I had my diagnosis in less than a week and my first medication titration appointment by the 9th Jan. I couldn't get over how quickly this went I was so impressed.
I had my first appointment with a prescriber and felt this appointment could have gone better, smoother, maybe needed more time, however when I raised my concern with mental well, I had an appointment the next day with an advanced practitioner called Carl. He was amazing, he was able to tell me all the things I wanted to know, exceptionally knowledgeable and really reassuring appointment and I was confident to start taking medication.
Had my first month on medication, a few side effects but manageable, discussed at my next appointment. After four days taking the increase I wasn't doing so well. I contacted them at 16:41, I had a phone call, which I missed but they left a voice mail with instructions, an email, and my next appointment the very next day. Sophie who handled the email was amazing, she was so responsive and again I was so impressed with the management of the situation. And once again Carl was in touch with advice, support and the next plan of action, this all happened before 5pm, after sending my email at 16:41.
I cannot recommend mental well enough, their care, time, knowledge and skills have been thorough throughout. Concerns which I alinitially had have been elleviated, but in hindsight I don't think that was with mental well themselves but more about being medicated myself.
Mental well have truely changed my life in some a positive light.

I was very hesitant when considering going private for my ADHD assesment. There were so many options and so many of them were giving an impression of just wanting to diagnose for financial gain. I took a chance with Mentalwell and I could not be happier with the service so far. I booked and paid for the service on Thursday and had the assesment booked in for Friday, so not having to wait a long period was really nice. My assesment was amazing; Dr Sherleen was extremely patient and understanding. She explained how symptoms may present which was very insightful and gave me a completely different understanding of how ADHD presents itself. The service overall so far has been transparent, efficient, and very informative. I could not recommend them more.
