They are cheaters. They first asked to update the app. I updated it and now they tell that I cannot claim my rewards as some suspicious activities are reported on my account. When asked on What is suspicious, they told they cannot disclose it. So don't waste time now. They have selected the same path as of life points surveys. Initially they cheated in name of rs Tabulating surveys sand now they openly blocks the amount and points and suspends the account.

It stop paying, so friends don't waist your important time and efforts on Rakuten.

What happened if you will not receive any reward even when it is already redeemed just like me.

They are not genuine at all. They are scammers. Guys don’t trust this survey sites. They have stolen my rewards as well. One of the worst website. Completely fraud. They won’t pay you after some time. Your hard work will go in vain.

Very disappointing experience with Rakuten Insight surveys. The platform collects a lot of personal and survey data, but when it comes to redeeming rewards, the process is extremely frustrating. After waiting nearly two weeks for redemption, I received a message saying "suspicious behaviour detected" and my reward request was rejected without a clear explanation.

Many users have reported similar issues during redemption. I would not recommend this platform to anyone looking for a reliable survey rewards program. It feels like users spend their time answering surveys but face problems when trying to receive their rewards.

Very dishonest and fraud company, don't fall for it. No value for your time and efforts. They are not letting me redeem my reward. I have '624' points in my account that are '624' indian rupees. When I go to redeem the reward they refused by saying that we detected a suspicious behaviour in your account. You can't redeem. In the starting they will pay you so you may trust them blindly, suddenly they stop giving you the survey or give you surveys that ends with,'we found a safety issue with your response', if you are honest, genuine with your work, it will hurt you a lot. I am fed up with this and decided to not do any survey for them..i went for the reward section last time, when I clicked on one of the reward, they refused to pay my reward by saying we detected a suspicious behaviour in your account, you can't redeem your reward. I mailed them regarding the issue. They are saying, you have done a prohibited act. I asked which prohibited act, they are saying we are not bound to disclose this. I have gonna through their,' prohibited act' many times. I found nothing that I did wrong.They have not any evidence, how could they have, when nothing has been done from my side. I tried to complaint in complaint website named survey police. They blocked my account so I may complain about rakuten on that site. Don't know how can they block me, i am new for their site. People like me like housewives, students and unemployed person see these survey companies as a hope but they cheat us badly. No value for your time, efforts, your phone data, your personal data.

Waste of Time and Poor Support
Very bad experience with Rakuten Insight. Surveys are not good and most of the time they disqualify after wasting time. Even after redeeming my reward, I still did not receive the payment. There is no proper update and customer support response is very slow. Overall it feels unreliable and not worth using. Not recommended.

My account looks totally normal—nothing about bans or warnings—but the site’s dead. When I finally squeezed an answer out of customer support, all they gave me was some weak, canned excuse: “Evidence of prohibited acts.”

And the worst part? They flat-out refused to tell me what I supposedly did wrong. They hid behind some crummy clause saying they don’t have to explain anything.

Let’s be honest—this is professional data theft. This platform let me waste my time and hand over personal info for weeks, then “found” a problem right when I tried to cash in my points. They took my earnings and vanished. If they can’t show actual proof of a violation, it’s because there isn’t any. They're just another shady company ripping off users. Their support is useless and they have zero transparency.

Same issue as stated in multiple reviews. They frozen my account giving the reason suspicious activities. I had around 1200 points and all are gone.

It looks like fake as after earning 280 points it is telling the "Suspect unnatural behaviour" during redemption time. It looks fake. The app just use me free to do survey and make profit without giving me anything. Very dissatisfied. I wasted more than 1 hour per day to earn money. Total wasted. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

They don't pay up. I got an initial payout - then tried to save money for a year $60 and cash out - they didn't pay up. I had to send them an email and they wrote back that I violated a policy - one of the policies is they can just choose to not pay you. The text in the email said - "Please note that Rakuten Insight is not obligated to disclose which prohibited act(s) you were found to have engaged in." If you do use them - be sure to cash out with small increments - do not hold money there and expect to be paid.

Rakuten Insight isn't a site I'd recommend at all. There are better options out there.
I was a member of Rakuten Insights for years. Time spent there in 4 months might earn a $5 gc.

Recently I went to cash out and I had to write them to find out why I wasn't getting my reward. I was told that I'd violated some term and they didn't have to tell me which one. Sound scamish yet?
I did another inquiry quoting their Section 4 of their own terms that states they will notify of changes (in short version). They violate their own terms. I asked for my $5 that I'm owed since it had cashed out before the account was frozen and said I'd be fine to leave once the $ cleared. I haven't gotten a reply yet but I don't really expect I'll be seeing that $5 anytime soon.
My advice?
I wouldn't bother with this one. If Rakuten Insights will refuse to pay me as they have others here too, then please don't be the next one they 'decide not to pay'. If you notice there is a pattern, with a lot of us this happens once we claim a reward.
If I could rate them a zero I would.
Be careful of this site. It reels you in with paying a bit at first and then can freeze your account or delete it at any time without a reason even if you've just worked hard and your 'reward' has been claimed.

Barely getting any surveys. Thought this would be a better experience.

Yes ,you earn about 200 rupees (2.5 dollars) per month Max and they pay but it takes 15 days to cash out!
But, they provide two different kinds of surveys from payment standpoint: the first category credits the point you earn immediately to your account. And the second category is Tabulating category which takes about 8 weeks to get credited, therefore i highly suggest to skip this category because out of 100 , they pay only 5% and the rest will just be there in the tabulating section as some sort of demonstration! They won't pay even past 8 weeks!
I have around 1000 rupees pending but they won't pay! It's better to avoid this site. The customer support is unsupportive.

I use this site in past 2years based on we attend the survey answers the rewards points will credited. Even redeem points starts at ₹100 only. We easily earn 500 per month

I have been doing surveys for Rakuten insights for over a year. Then I try to cash out this past week and it keeps saying something is wrong come back later for 4 days. Then on the 5 th day when I try to cash out I get a message about fraudulent activity on my account and they do not have to tell me what it is. Emailed several times to contest this to no avail. Beware this could happen to anyone
