Hi Iain, many thanks for subscribing since last year and thanks for your great review. It's a pleasure we can help make your laundry as simple and effective as possible. Much appreciated. Please stay in touch. The Melt Team
I have been using these for a few…
I have been using these for a few months now and whilst they leave clothes with a pleasant fragrance they don't get the dirt out properly. I have noticed things like greasy stains don't wash out. I'm also having to use 3 to make the fragrance last. So not as happy with them as I was originally.

Hi Sarah, my apologies.
We should have been more vocal about stains and how to treat them: are still a very young brand. Most stains need pre-treatment, if you google you'll see every brand says the same. Grease stains especially.
No detergent claims to get rid of all stains in a normal wash. Though in tests melt is often the top rated as we have bio-enzymes. I'll send some tips on this for you but basically a pre-treat with melt as a paste or "fairy" liquid is ideal. Fairy liquid is designed to cut through grease obviously. The sad truth is sometimes stains do not come out, they can be baked in.
As for fragrance, Melt is fresh but it is subtle. To achieve that long lasting fragrance you need a lot of nasty toxic chemicals like Benzene to extend it. We prefer fresh and clean.
When performance "deteriorates" we find it's 99% of the rime the pump filter and a service wash that is needed. Melt has not changed.
I would recommend splitting the strips and spreading them in the load evenly (instead of just placing on the top)
Please watch for an email with some tips, we are above all else here to help not to score points and I hope we can continue to serve you day in day out.
Thanks The Melt Team.

Hi Laura, that's fab thanks for your resounding thumbs up and your custom. We found out recently that our strips create 35 x less CO2 emissions than pods! 8 x less than liquid detergent in plastic. Wow! Thanks again, The Melt Team
Super clean washing machine!
My washing machine has never been so clean. And the clothes always come out fantastic - remember to put the 3 sheets in the middle of the washing as it makes a difference just like the Melt experts say.

This is a really great product
This is a really great product, really effective at cleaning your laundry and a host of other uses around the house. The subscription service has had a couple of hiccups, partly due to my lack of understanding of what to do when we aren’t ready for a new box (takes months for my small household to use 60 sheets) but customer service is really responsive and helpful in sorting things out and all such lovely caring people 🥰

Was a bit sceptical about these at first and also worried about the fa T they are ‘lightly fragranced’ as I suffer from allergies due to fragrance.
The Melt team were so patient and helpful.
I have now been using them for about 2 months and wouldn’t use anything else!! Clothes, bedding etc is amazingly clean with a hint of fresh air about them, that all the family love.
No issues with allergies if anything even better than my previous sensitive laundry liquid.
Can’t praise them enough.
I like to buy one pack at a time as not sure I’d use the amount even on the smallest subscription. But this was very expensive until Melt recently reduced it to £16 for one pack from £22, dear melt team please stay with this price 🙏🙏

Hi Lynne it's great to read your lovely review and know that we can help you keep your laundry and family happy for the long-term.
A key to melt's effectiveness is that the strips dissolve superfast and rinse away much better than pods or powders. Therefore having less residue and fibres has many advantages.
Our business model is principally a direct to subscriber business as that gives us financial stability to keep the price as low as possible. I am sure the price will be around that for the foreseeable future.
That said we can create a longer schedule for you and you can save around 30% by subscribing. Just a suggestion please get in touch. Thanks again and please watch for other products which will be at least as good as the strips we hope! The Melt Team

Hi Michael, many thanks for taking the time to review and also subscribe. Persil is still the no.1 by sales in the UK so it's obviously doing something right! I personally like the fragrance too. Happy to hear why you prefer but if I could point to one thing ex big brand subscribers say about Melt is that the strips are as good on stains but without the plastic packaging. Thanks The Melt Team.
Just what I needed
Just what I needed, washing for 5 people now means no plastic bottles and a great clean. Couldn’t quite believe it worked as well as I’d been told - it really does!

Hi Samuel, it's great to hear from you and thanks for taking the time to leave us a great review. I always love to read that melts is the best product anyone's ever used it does amazing things for our motivation and marketing material.lol.
TIP: We are testing that a paste made with half a strip and a little water rubbed into stains (old toothbrush) and left for an hour before washing is brilliant too.
Excellent product!
So glad to have discovered these laundry strips, thanks to my daughter in law! They clean well, dissolve immediately, smell good. They arrive by post, weigh very little, no plastics are involved, and since they are not liquids and not bulky I can put boxes of them in my hand luggage when flying to my holiday home abroad, so that I can build up supplies there, too. Very pleased indeed.

Hi Sophie, many thanks to you and your daughter in law and it's great to share a new product type with as many people as possible. It sounds like you are getting a lot of the benefits and we also have a special travel version called Melt travel, but whatever works for you! Making a Paste with a little water and half a strip and rubbing into any really bad stains is a great stain remover before washing. Thanks The Melt Team.
This product has been amazing
This product has been amazing, no more pod residue stuck to clothes or machine door, it smell great, it’s environmental, takes up no room at all and most importantly it cleans so well. Amazing.

Hi Julie, great to hear from you and thanks for your lovely review. I'm really pleased they meet your expectations or even exceed as on first look it's hard to understand how they can work, but most laundry detergents are just 90% water, so melt strips just keep the good stuff. Please watch out for our newsletters as we are launching new products this year which are just as innovative as our laundry strips. Thanks so much The Melt Team
A real 'can do' attitude
A real 'can do' attitude. I recently needed to clarify something with the chat feature and was delighted to be called by Marcus who very quickly, calmly and kindly sorted my query. Very efficient and all sorted! This on top of a fantastic laundry product - what's not to like? Great for the environment and real human contact - loving it!
