Even without a set of pads for drumming, I can still do most of it just on an iPad, which makes it really beginner friendly! There are a lot of courses that are challenging, and a lot of learning paths that they've added and I love! I like all of the funny statements for when you get them perfect. It's really great all around and I'd recommend for both drumming and pads! I've had the subscription for many years now and can't wait to see what else they unveil in the coming years.

I have been a member for over 4 years. I feel like it's modern-day sudoku. It is appealing to all ages and levels. I went from having 0 skills in finger drumming to being able to Jam and produce. It is worth every penny and the melodic team is awesome. It's a great community to be a part of.

Great app! Really helps me progress with drumming fast and it's very addicting as well.

I love the app.
First of all it will allow you to get familiar with playing on the pads if you are new to it. How to attack them efficiently etc...it will all come over time as long as you practice. Exercises are getting more difficult over time, but I never feel like I reached the absolute ceiling of my capabilities. Sometimes I just need to slow down and practice for few days to grasp the idea. Which is great.

There are few drawbacks I need to mention:

1. This will not teach you how to...improvise unless you make an effort to do it. Otherwise you will improve on your coordination etc...but if you sit down without the app in front of the pads...unless you put work on your own..you will be clueless to certain extent.

2. I wish this app had one more feature. As it stands there is quite a big window regarding timinig misalignment allowance. It's great, but It would be amazing if there was a score section dedicated to your timing accuracy...100% being perfectly on time with every hit for example and the more you deviate the less percentage score you get. You can still be 100% green...but there can be massive differences from person to person who both cleared the lesson fully.

That would be great feedback on how good we actually are. As it stands...the scoring feels more like a guitar hero / game rather than tool that should teach you to constantly improve your accuracy.

Its really worth to have a paid subsciption, I get so much value from the platform. I love the selection of lessons and songs and the playmode is very clear and easy to follow. I first bought the drumset for my son but thanks to Melodics I also love to learn it myself. I have used Melodics for a month now and I intend to keep using it for years, because its simply the best teacher to learn drums.

Love this software! Plenty of guidance, heaps of tools to help you improve your drumming and a stack of tunes to play along with. Has given me a great platform to encourage regular practice. Highly recommend.

Perfect app. I like to play and learn at the same time.

I've been using Melodics for over a year and I honestly feel like its the best music learning product out there. Great selection of songs to learn and the guided lessons help you progress at a good pace.

I use it to learn drums and combined with normal lessons in which technique is taught, it would be the perfect combination.
The exercises are fun and one never gets bored, as they usually have a musical background, which shows the student how to apply what is being learned properly.
The songs are all known, which motivates the student much more, not to mention if she/he already has a band.
Overall, it is worth every penny. When used daily, one can see the progress in less than a week after starting. And, I might say: it can get addictive ;-)

It's over priced, they give you too much room to rush and drag without saying it's wrong, they do not offer full refunds, their software can often times be very buggy and can be down for days which is even unacceptable at their previous price, it's not fully transparently advertised as you can maybe play one song offline when they say you can fully use it offline and they don't offer any way purchase it, it's subscription only.

I have a brain injury, and human teachers get frustrated with me quite quickly. With melodics I can replay reception over and over as many times as needed till I comprehend it. The customer support, the service and the excellence of this program should be emulated by all

I started working on melodics to get better timing accuracy and finger dexterity when using my push. The controller seamlessly links with melodics and the platform gives endless tracks and genres to test my skills and develop new ones. I work on melodics every day and feel that my timing is better for doing so.

I’m 59 years old and never played drums. I always wanted too so I bought a set of V-Drums. I play every night on the lesson and level I am working on. Melodics definitely teaches you the steps down the guided path how to play drums. I like melodics as a challenge and fun while learning. I wished there were more songs from bands to my
age group.

Melodics became a very good option for me to learn Music Theory on-demand and on a very affordable pricing as well.
