Warning: "Megastar Group" / megastarcars.com – is a Scam!!!

I strongly advise against sending any money to the company "Megastar Group" (operating through megastarcars.com). This is not just my opinion—multiple red flags indicate a sophisticated scam operation.

I nearly fell victim to them myself, but my intuition and experience with online fraud prevented me from completing the payment. We stopped at the contract and invoice stage. After several hours of investigation, I found deeply troubling information:

- I find people who have already lost significant sums (e.g., three individuals reported losses totaling €45,000), and these are just a few of them, I'm sure.

- The company is under investigation by DIICOT (Romania) and Onlinewachen der Polizeien (Germany).

Previous reviews describe their methods exactly. Below are my clear reasons to avoid them:

1. Domain Age vs. Claims: Their website (megastarcars.com) was registered on July 4, 2025 (just 3 months ago), yet they claim 17 years of operation. How is that possible?

2. Fake Reviews: All “reviews” on their site were posted on the same day. This is technically possible only if fabricated. There are no real reviews.

3. False Google Reviews: They display fake “Google Reviews” that do not appear on Google. This confirms the reviews are fraudulent.

4. Suspicious Ratings: They show over 100 reviews, all rated 5 stars. No legitimate company has a perfect record like this.

5. Psychological Pressure: They use fake screenshots of “other conversations” to create false urgency, pressuring you to reserve or buy immediately. In reality, the cars remain “available” because they were never for sale legitimately.

6. Fake Addresses: They claim operations in Germany and Spain, but their listed German address is a legitimate SEAT dealership that has no association with Megastar Group and is aware of the scam. I did not continue to find information about Spain's location, but for sure also that is fake address. Local authorities are already investigating.

These images were not taken from genuine customers of Megastar Group. In reality, every single one has been copied from legitimate car dealership websites in the Netherlands, Germany, and Lithuania.

You can easily verify this yourself by using a reverse image search (like Google Lens or TinEye). This simple action will reveal the original sources of the photos and prove that they are being used deceptively.

This is not a coincidence—it is a deliberate attempt to fabricate trust and credibility. A legitimate business would use real photos of its actual customers and vehicles.

If you are considering dealing with this company, do not pay anything. Report them to the relevant authorities and share this information. By staying vigilant and informing others, we can help prevent further scams.

This website is a BIG SCAM. Do not buy from this website. You will lose your money. They put prices on the website that are half the real market price for that used car. They look for cars for sale on another trusted website, then call the owner of the car and tell him that they are interested in buying it and ask him to make them more videos of the car and send them pictures of the car's documents. After that, they use these videos and documents on their website for naive people (like me) who think they will make a big deal. The company address on their website is of another company (SEAT dealer). This Seat dealer knows about this scam and has notified the competent authorities, but it is strange that the German authorities have not done anything yet. They have already scammed a lot of people, but it is strange that no authority in the countries that have received numerous scam reports still allows this site to operate and scam other naive people, even though many scam reports have been made to authorities in different countries.
