My Review of Me and My Golf

There are no silver bullets in golf. No magic drill, no secret move, no quick fix. Golf is a brutally difficult sport built on body mechanics, mobility, strength, speed, coordination and decision‑making. YouTube is full of great content, but watching videos alone won’t transform your game. Improvement takes application, structure, and consistency.

After my stomach tumour removal in July 2025, golf became my rehab, physically and mentally. At first I could only putt beside the bed. Then light chips. Then small movements as my body allowed. By October, my golf was already better than it had been pre‑op simply because I was doing something every day.

That’s when I found Me and My Golf on YouTube. Their message was clear and consistent: get the basics right. No gimmicks. No over‑complication. Just fundamentals done well. It resonated immediately, so I joined their membership.

I decided to try the free trial to see if it would be a good fit for me, as I've been following Andy and Piers on YouTube and appreciate their techniques. However, the trial only allowed access to part of the program, stopping at 52% of the course. To progress further, even during the trial, you need to subscribe. For me, it was about fixing my occasional slice and other aspects of my game that the full subscription could help with. I'm torn about whether to continue. Many golfers who enroll are likely aiming to enhance multiple areas of their game, so it's challenging to determine the program's effectiveness without completing the entire training plan. Additionally, for Android users, the live training aid app isn't supported, while it is for iOS. This is surprising given how often it's mentioned in the videos. If another solution exists, I'm not aware of it yet. The buzz on the site left me slightly disappointed, and I'm unsure whether to seek an alternative or proceed with an early subscription to complete the slicing drill. Either way, it could be a worthwhile investment or just a one-time expense. If I continue and find it beneficial, I'll update my review accordingly.

I rarely write reviews, but Me and My Golf deserves it. Their video library is exceptionally well organized—clear pathways by skill level and topic, with logical progressions that make it easy to build competence, not just collect tips. The repetition some mention is exactly what makes the fundamentals land. They revisit the right concepts (grip, posture, sequence, club path, face control) from different angles, so it clicks and stays.

Production quality is top shelf: multiple camera angles, concise demos, then practical drills you can take straight to the range. I’ve seen measurable improvement in my ball striking and dispersion because the curriculum forces you to groove the movement patterns, not chase swing thoughts. The on-course applications and practice frameworks are especially strong—no fluff, just actionable reps.

Customer experience is equally tight: search is intuitive, playlists are coherent, and the bite-size lessons let you stack quick wins. Net-net: this is the rare instruction platform that’s both scalable and effective. Honestly surprised they aren’t sitting at a 5.0—this is best-in-class golf coaching content that delivers real outcomes. Strongly recommend.

Signed up to the free trial to see if its something I would follow, I have wtached their YT channel and like the approach of both Andy and Piers. But the trial you get limits you to part of a program, 52% of the course is where it stoped for me, if you want to continue it even during the trial period you must pay the subscription fee, In my case it was fix the slice which sometimes I have an issue with, also along with some other parts of my game which you can focus on as part of the full subscription, I am now in 2 minds whether I want to continue on or not, I would say most golfers that are signing up to this are looking to work on allot or improve there game, with this point how can you make a decison whether this is going to work if you are unable to finish the laid out training map. The second part for android users, as part of the training they say you should use the live training aid app, if your IOS then its supported, for Andorid I have not seen that it is, surely something that is stressed upon during the vidoes would be supported by both operating softwares, or another solution proposed, maybe there is a way to make it work that I am not aware of. I would say I'm a little underwhelmed by all the hype going through the site, I'm not sure whether I will look for an alternative or muddle my way through this and pay the early subscription to finish the slicing drill, then decide whether its going to be value even with the no android support for live training, either way it could be money well spent or could be a monthly fee that is used once and cancelled. If I do carry on and see value in it will update my review to reflect, positive or negative.

No way of accessing website without allowing them to steal and sell your data to marketing companies. No opt out facility.

I have bought a golf glove off them and have to go online for instructions so should be able to keep my data private but they obviously just want to harvest and sell your personal data.

Returned the glove for a full refund and never accessed the website.

If you go on other websites you are given a clear choice whether to accept tracking and marketing cookies. On your website there is no such option, to access your website you have to agree to these cookies

If you are not interested in harvesting customers data as you say in your response then it is a simple task for your web developer to allow customers to opt out of accepting tracking cookies.

For example, you have google, facebook, tiktok and Bing advertising cookies which are only there to enable personalised advertising. The site tracking analysis cookies from google are separate.

Yes I have been watching these guy's daily and it is helping me for sure. When I find out how to video my shots I think I might be able to shoot in the 60's for the first time.

Great content for what I want to learn. The content is clear, demonstrations are understandable and something I can take to practice. Above all, Pierce and Andy are good people with expertise they want to share and want to share their love of the game.

Great number of videos to help, which then help you understand what may be wrong with your game once you experiment with their teachings. They may not identify every specific fault in your game, but you become aware of what you are doing and then in a position to fix it
