I recently purchased a smart watch from Meacode. It was advertised as being usable for swimming. When the watch finally arrived, it turns out it was not suitable for swimming - just possibly being splashed. I asked to return it as it was of no use to me if it did not go in the water and count laps. I spent many days talking to a chat bot with them telling me the same thing over and over again. Actually sending the same email as a reply several times. It didn't seem possible to speak to anyone. The continually made it difficult to return and when they did finally give me the information they put so many random charges against the return that it made it literally easier and less costly to just throw it away. They did finally offer me a refund of only 20 percent of the cost. The watch itself is not bad, just falsely advertised. So now I will have to try to sell it at a greatly reduced price to see if I can get some of my money back. It also took over three weeks to actually return any funds. The watch is nice - not useful to me, the customer service horrendous and their product descriptions misleading, so will never purchase from this company again.

There is absolutely no phone number advertised to call for help, and they completely ignore their support email. I have sent multiple emails requesting a return and refund under their stated policy, and I am being completely ghosted. I am now forced to raise a chargeback through my credit card company to get my money back. Avoid this company at all costs.
