Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. The worst, most expensive medical service. Check all the reviews before doing anything.
The doctor I saw through MDVIP…
The doctor I saw through MDVIP mishandled the pre-authorization for a CT scan I needed, then missed the deadline to appeal the denial. When I followed up by email, I got no response. A second follow-up finally got a reply a week later. I was told the doctor felt I would be better served by a "different venue." Usually when a doctor thinks they can't help you, they offer referrals. Not this doctor. I asked for another meeting but the wait time was a month.
When I asked MDVIP for a refund, they refused because I hadn't complained until after the quarter ended. I don't see why the timing of my complaint should matter more than the fact that their doctor's errors delayed care I needed and then left me without a provider.

Warning- caution do not enter into an agreement with MDVIP unless you are ready to pay the full amount for a year even if you cannot use their services for the entire year. They refused to negotiate a compromise payment in a situation where the customer is moving and cannot use six months of service. The individual MDVIP does not provide a backup physician when they go on vacation. Their recommendation is to go to urgent care. The customer care representative claims to have 20 supervisors and would not provide the name of a single supervisor for the customer to contact. All conversations are recorded
Horrible
Horrible! The doctor did not listen to anything I asked for and required unnecessary tests. I was over charged and after cancellation I was charged another 6 months. DO NOT USE MDVIP.. extremely poor medical care
Poor quality healthcare
1.Does not provide services as outlined in contract
2. Visit with doctor ( first annual) was a joke. Exam under 5 min(if that) did not check heart at all and said he forgot
3. Does not review prior med history.
Do not trust MDVIP with your health
Do not trust MDVIP with your health — my experience was dangerous and expensive
I paid MDVIP's premium fee for what they advertise as concierge care: physician access five days a week plus weekend emergency availability. What I actually got was the opposite.
My MDVIP doctor, Dr. Luke Williams in St. Petersburg, was only available four days a week — he works at the VA on Fridays and did not respond to calls, despite my paying specifically for that access. So much for "24/7 availability."
Far worse were the medical errors. His office lowered the dose of a critical medication I take to one-tenth of my prescribed amount, making my treatment ineffective. He also administered testosterone injections without reviewing my labs first — a shortcut that put me at real risk of serious cardiac complications. This is the exact opposite of the personalized, careful medicine MDVIP charges thousands of dollars for.
When I brought all of this to MDVIP, they conducted a "review" and told me it wasn't their problem. No accountability, no remedy, no concern for patient safety. Their fee buys you marketing, not oversight. In my experience, MDVIP exists to collect membership dues, not to hold its physicians to any standard.
If you're considering MDVIP: you're paying luxury prices for care that, in my case, was less available and less safe than a regular practice. I would not take that risk with your health or your money.
When I brought all of this to MDVIP, they conducted a "review" and told me it wasn't their problem. And when I asked for a refund of the substantial fees I'd paid for services I never received, they refused. No accountability, no remedy, no refund, no concern for patient safety. Their fee buys you marketing, not oversight. In my experience, MDVIP exists to collect membership dues, not to hold its physicians to any standard.

I moved and they didn't have any doctors in program that could take me but they continued to charge me 2000.00 per year for 2 years and refused to refund me.
I wanted to share some feedback…
I wanted to share some feedback regarding my MDVIP membership experience.
First, I want to say that I am very happy with my physician. She provides excellent care, and I truly value having direct access to her. Knowing that I can text her when I have a question and trust that she'll respond as soon as she's able gives me peace of mind. I also appreciate the comprehensive annual wellness exam, which is significantly more thorough than anything I've experienced through a traditional primary care practice.
My concerns are not about my physician—they are about the overall MDVIP membership experience.
At more than $2,000 per year, I expected a much more proactive and connected service. For example, I'm not aware of a patient portal where I can access my health information, review test results, or communicate electronically. I even contacted MDVIP to ask whether one exists because I couldn't find one.
I also expected proactive reminders for annual wellness visits and preventive care. Instead, I find that I have to remember and initiate everything myself. For a premium concierge healthcare membership, I expected a higher level of care coordination and member engagement.
When I look at the overall value of the membership, I feel that the primary benefits are the comprehensive wellness exam and direct access to my physician. While those are certainly valuable, I'm struggling to justify paying more than $2,000 annually when many of the additional services and conveniences I expected don't seem to be part of the experience.
I'm sharing this feedback because I believe MDVIP has an opportunity to strengthen the value of its membership. Features such as a robust patient portal, proactive appointment and preventive care reminders, and more ongoing engagement with members would go a long way toward making the membership feel like the premium service it is intended to be.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. I hope it helps improve the experience for current and future members.
Not worth the money!!
The doctor was just ok. Did not call me back for a week. When I had too many non returned calls, I asked for my money back. No refund no matter how bad your experience is. Beware‼️‼️
Bait and Switch
Long story short, my doctor decided to become a MDVIP practice. Annual fee to remain a patient is $2600. I attended the meeting in which all the patients got to listen and understand the concept. A lot of people were skeptical. A lot of folks read the reviews that were not the best. In a nutshell, the MDVIP rep assured all of us we could "try" MDVIP on a quarterly basis and if not satisfied we could leave the practice with not obligation. I decided to give it a try. I paid $650 (my first quarterly payment). The following day the agreement came for me to sign. Once a person receives any type service, you are legally obligated to pay the entire $2600 annual fee. What was told to everyone in the meeting was contrary to the language in the agreement. Classic bait and switch in my opinion. I did not sign the agreement and will NOT sign it. I have spent the past 10 days trying to get a refund. While I understand the concept of MDVIP, make no mistake....MDVIP's deal is weighted in favor of the doctor to cover his overhead. I would recommend reading the agreement before signing it.
Sleazy harassing phone calls
Horrible company that harasses you with collection calls after not paying your bill within 5 days of receipt. They get family members numbers and harass them with phone calls too. We are terminating our relationship with this company and going with another concierge company we found good riddance sleazebags!
MDVIP corp non-responsive
MDVIP has been calling, emails, texting, and mailing me for 2 months. I've reached out via channels they provided, requesting their service level agreement. They attest to providing after hours and travel support, but they respond with marketing flyers only. In spite of numerous reach outs, I've receive no response to a substantive question.
This company is predatory
This company is predatory. They convince doctors that the patient is willing to pay 2,000.00 + per year for nothing more than any physician would do
Horrible experience with MDVIP and the…
Horrible experience with MDVIP and the doctor I had through them. My doctor did not provide any help or refer me to anyone that can help me. Everything I did accomplish I did on my own. I have filed many complaints with MDVIP and am currently waiting/ seeing how long it takes for a manager to call back this time. Before you sign up with this company read the lawsuit from 2015. My new free primary has done more for me in the past month then this company and doctor did in a year.
It’s very unfortunate that this service took away one of our community’s best doctors
It’s very unfortunate that this service has made one of the best doctors I’ve ever had suddenly inaccessible to my partner and I. Before MDVIP, our doctor didn’t fail to provide topnotch care to her patients. She was thorough and attentive in connecting the dots, spending adequate time, and making sure we got the right labs. MDVIP now prohibits access to someone whose level of care we have enjoyed for years. Coz what do you mean I have to pay more now on top of what I’m already paying in to? We love our doctor so much we want her to prosper and wish her well. And unfortunately we have to now transfer our care because we simply can’t afford her. The very nature of this service is classist and draws a line between people who have the means to afford quality care while the rest of us don’t. Finding a great doctor in this terrible health system is hard enough. Patients and doctors lose. Because doctors have to sign up for MDVIP to be compensated properly, while patients have to pay through the nose to get access to good medical care. What a disappointment. Depressing!
What a rip off!!!
What a rip off!!!! We already pay high enough prices for medical insurance, let alone MDVIP doctors wanting to charge $x,xxx a year on top of it just to see them. Sounds like “Greed” and a “Scam!”
Not the level of care you'd hope for
I don't think it was a mistake that I should have expected better than average care with doctors within this network, but that is not the case. The first doctor misdiagnosed me and prescribed hundreds of pills for things I don't have... if you're a Pill Popper he's your guy. Transferred to another doctor in the practice that was just opening her office. She's lovely and caring, but administratively the office is a nightmare and the follow-up is terrible. I have significant health issues we're doing detailed blood panels, having someone call me and say I'm fine is insulting AF. Paid up through half of the year and my wellness exam is due before the contract terminates, I've been informed I can only have my wellness exam if I pay another quarter. Such Bullshit.
I had to hold a needle in my vein...
Have you ever held a needle in your own vein?
I sure did because the nurse forgot something and had to go get it.
And when I called MDVIP they could not find another doctor in my area, and refused to refund my money because I took the annual assessment.
NOTE: I did NOT get the full assessment results and/or talk about them with my doctor because of their incompetency.
5 hours of phone calls; 3 "I'll call you back by this date", and lots of frustration.
They just took my money without providing services.
Good job guys! You lost a customer for life.
Financial Harassment
The medical care was marginal but I'm sure that depends on the doctor. Great for Rx refills and submitting orders we requested. After leaving MDVIP after 1st year, they continued collection calls and invoices so far 4 months after we notified them of our nonrenewal.

They raise the subscription price every year. You cannot submit the annual physical to your insurance provider so you are paying out of pocket. It is very difficult to cancel and you have to pay another entire year before you can. I have never been able to get a same day or even next day appointment with my provider.
