A stunner of a watch and an outstanding retail experience! The Q1 is a unique proposition in terms of craft, design, exclusivity and quality. All reviews set high expectations but both the watch and the buying experience far surpassed and anticipation.

What a pleasure to exchange emails with Rob. The Q-1 is a spectacular work of art and it was nice to communicate with the man behind McQuaide!

It shipped Friday and I had it in Washington state on Tuesday.

A simply stunning Watch!!!!!

What can I say about this watch that isn’t obvious? This unique timepiece is robust, durable, ergonomic, and a treat for the eyes every time I admire the Damascus material.

I’ve taken it paddle boarding, sea swimming, mountain biking, and worn it as my everyday watch in an industrial environment. It hasn’t let me down in any way and still looks as good as the day I unboxed it—which came with every extravagance: a soft outer sleeve, a cushion-filled box, and a maintenance pack included.

What makes it even more special is that I was lucky enough to get a serial number that matches the birth of my twin babies—a detail that makes this watch truly one of a kind for me.

I can’t wait to see what McQuaide brings to the table next. I’ll definitely be expanding my collection with the next iteration.

I’m pleased with the way it keeps time, the proportions and its heft - you know when you’re wearing it. However, the best bit is the Damascus steel; it’s a look that truly sets the Q1 apart from other watches.

I was looking for a new watch but something that would stand out. I came across McQuaide watches, and very impressed. The website content and details are informative and totally accurate.
The watch arrived as promised, and I am very impressed. I love the unique design/markings from the Damascus steel casing. The whole watch is fantastic, the time piece, the casing, the dials, the travel case - infact everything.
I bought a Q1 Crimson watch, and I liked it so much, I also bought a Q1 Abyss.

Rob is very professional and the watches are absolutely beautiful. The case is extraordinary and the dial is very nice.

I bought a watch at the Watchit event on the 21st June 2025, and it is now my everyday wear. I have a collection built over 50 years of around 200 and this goes into my top 5. Value for money, it is probably the top 3 and specification as well, with the big difference being the others are 5k plus. Anyone sitting on the fence should stop and buy one now. British built excellence!

I received the Q1 watch today, and am so impressed with the build quality, the beauty and strength of the design, and the attention to detail. The accuracy of the movement is also top notch. The McQuaide brand has really impressed me throughout my experience with them. Communication was fast and transparent, and it was clear from the beginning that they take great pride in what they do.

First of all, I want to say how happy I am with the Q1 Damascus steel watch!
The quality is superb, and what you get for the money is incredibly impressive. The bezel has a very satisfying click and no backward movement whatsoever. The watch case is a work of art, I’ve already had people comment on it.

Secondly, I’d like to mention the excellent service I received when ordering from the website.
