Do Not Buy From This Company Ever . Very confusing and misleading instructions to return sandals to Spain . Incorrect advice given by customer service information post i.e.that ' Duty and Vat charges as imported goods being returned may be exempt from.international charges' . They aren't exempt. £45 additional duty VAT costs to pay this end or they won't accept the returns plus £20 postage Terrible service. Sizing issues , told to size down , too small

I ordered two pairs of trainers based on this company being in the UK (it is called MBT UK). Turns out, it is based in Spain, which I only realised when I needed to return one pair.
I ordered up a size as instructed on their website. As a result, one pair was way too big.
They do NOT provide free returns. It was a battle to get hold of the customs returns form that is (apparently) necessary (they do not even bother to tell you this when you first request to return the item, and it took well over a week for them to provide it). Far from being free, it cost £20 postage to return them. The items then got stuck in customs in Spain, and have taken five weeks to even get back to MBT, despite MBT supposedly chasing the return.
Six weeks on I still do not have a refund. I have just been told it will be another up to 3 weeks before they can process the refund!!!
Customer Services is painfully slow to respond.
DO NOT USE THIS FIRM.

The soles of both shoes disolved into sticky dust, creating a disgusting mess on my carpet. I contacted them on their webpage: no reaction :-(

In più mi hanno sostituito una sneaker da uomo che si era rotta ...davvero nulla da.dire come consumatore. Massima tutela

States on website that you should order a size up … unfortunately sizes are big anyway !
If you need to exchange or refund you have to contact the merchant to generate a returns …
They don’t reply for about 48 hours!
What they don’t tell you is that
returning items,… YOU have to cover the postage which is costly !
Would not recommend this company unless you have money to waste !!!

I bought shoes on line from a .UK domain. They were shipped from Spain. This made the return very difficult.
I returned one of the two pairs I had bought. It took over 6 weeks and cost me international postage, numerous emails and a complaint before I got my money back (although I did get my money back eventually).
I thought shopping on line (from a .UK site) would be like Amazon - doesn’t fit so return and refund in a matter of days.
Won’t buy these shoes on-line again - which is a shame as the other shoes I have are great but the return process just isn’t worth the stress.

Vor 25 Jahren habe ich meine ersten MBT Sandalen gekauft und war vom Tragekomfort sehr zufrieden ! Ich habe aufgehört diese Schuhe zu kaufen da der Schaumstoff an der Ferse rausbröselte. Der Hersteller damals noch aus der Schweiz wimmelte alles ab ! Bei einem 300 Euro Schuh erstaunlich selbstbewusst -Jetzt, am Sonntag habe ich nach dieser langen Zeit erneut ein paar MBT Sandalen zum Geburtstag bekommen und schon gelacht und gesagt: „ Bin gespannt auf die Ferse aber nach dieser langen Zeit sollte der Hersteller das ja wohl hinbekommen haben.“
Die Sandalen habe ich am Montag 1,5 km getragen ! Ich kam nach Hause der Fersen Keil bröckelte rechts und links raus. - Ich rief den Hersteller an. Wir leben mittlerweile selbst in der Schweiz. Ich kam kaum zum aussprechen. Das sei ein alter Schuh ! Der Schuh sei aus alten Beständen und überlagert.
Es sei gesagt ich habe den Karton mit Anhängerschildern ! Ich würde gerne hier Fotos anhängen ! Ich meinte ich möchte ihnen die neuen Sandalen zusenden ! Die Antwort lautete : Das wollen sie nicht !
Schuhe für 300 Euro Man wird blitzblank abgewimmelt mit den gleichen Antworten wie vor 25 Jahren.

Ich hatte Schuhe bestellt, aber UPS war nicht in der Lage, sie zuzustellen oder in einem Shop zur Abholung zu hinterlegen. Sie schickten die Schuhe zurück an MBT.
Ich vermutete „FAKE“ hinter allem und beschwerte mich, schließlich waren die Schuhe auch schon bezahlt.
Da begann eine hervorragende Kommunikation mit der Kundenbetreuung von MBT. 8 Tage später hatte ich dann endlich meine Schuhe, sie wurden direkt an einen Shop geliefert, wo ich sie abholen konnte. Das war zunächst für Verkäufer und mich als Kundin unangenehm, durch gute Kommunikation zu beidseitiger Zufriedenheit schließlich geklärt. Danke!

Bought two pairs of shoes from MBT. One for my wife and one pair for me. This was based upon a pair I was already using and very happy with. The sole of both pairs literally fell apart and dissolved into dust in the box. Only noticed when I'd worn out my old ones.

The response to my email by MBT was ZERO. Appears they ghost you if you've a complaint. If they're Swiss there is no EU consumer laws and they do what they like.

Ich habe für 250€ Nubuk Lederstiefel Kendo bei MBT Deutschland online gekauft. Weil man das so macht, habe ich sie mit einem in einem Schuhgeschäft gekauftem Spray für Wildleder imprägniert, woraufhin sich die Farbe des einen Stiefels vollkommen gleichmäßig veränderte, während der andere die gleiche Farbe behielt.
Ich habe Fotos der Stiefel an MBT geschickt und sie reklamiert.
Und dann ging´s los:
MBT schrieb, ich hätte die Stiefel mit einem speziellen MBT Spray behandelt müssen.
Ich frage, wo das steht.
In einer Pflegeanleitung, die jedem Paar Schuhe beiliegt.
Meinen Schuhen hat so eine Pflegeanleitung nicht beigelegen, ich bitte also um Fotos der Anleitung.
Darauf erhalte ich trotz mehrmaliger Nachfrage keine Antwort, aber ich finde im Internet unter Fragen und Antworten von MBT einen Hinweis, dass MBT Schuhe mit herkömmlichen Sprays behandelt werden können.
Die Antwort: so einen Hinweis gibt es nicht im Internet. Daraufhin schicke ich einen Screenshot.
Und dann wird es wild: Die Hinweise würden nicht gelten, weil die Stiefel aus Spanien kämen und ich keinen Vertrag mit MBT Deutschland hätte.
Ich schreibe zurück, offenbar doch, die den Kauf betreffenden Emails kommen von MBT Deutschland und schicke einen weiteren Screenshot: Bestellung und Rechnung sind von MBT Deutschland. Außerdem bitte ich ein weiteres Mal um ein Foto der Pflegeanleitung.
Daraufhin erhalte ich die Nachricht, dass die Kommunikation abgeschlossen sei. Ich habe erst nachträglich durch Online Recherche erfahren, dass es MBT Deutschland offenbar gar nicht gibt, sondern die Schuhe immer aus Spanien kommen.

Ich trage aus gesundheitlichen Gründen seit 20 Jahren MBT, die Schuhe sind o.k., aber die Leute, mit denen ich Emailkontakt hatte (wahrscheinlich ein Call Center) kommen mir vor wie indische Scammer, ein Lüge nach der anderen und so leicht widerlegbar – schon fast lustig, wie extrem unprofessionell hier agiert wird!
Ich habe die Angelegenheit einem Anwalt übergebe, ich bin so sauer, dass ich das Geld dafür ausgebe!

We bought 2 pairs of boots and within a relatively short time and and not much use the souls came apart due to failure of the glue and materials used in production. Unable to return them as could not find a point of contact on the website. Also probably out of guarantee. Otherwise the boot are well made and comfortable.
