My password keeps expiring for my netbank, quite frequently for some reason.
Since I only visit Hungary about once a year, and the online / phone support is useless every single time, it is impossible to access to my account / money.
This bank acts like they own my money, they own their customers. Avoid them like your life was depending on it. I truly hope you guys will go out of business soon, and live the rest of your life poor.
Avoid these scammers at all costs. Seriously. Even OTP is miles better than this bunch of low-tier scammers (their HQ isn’t even in Budapest; it’s in Békéscsaba, lol).
They closed my account—which has been active with zero issues since 1994—simply because they felt like it. No explanation, no regrets, just a formal letter stating: "We are unilaterally terminating this contract." To top it off, they actually forced me to pay a withdrawal fee just to get my own money back.
They just simply behave like they can do everything with people. They think if they answer tipical layer bullsh.. Than I will scare.

I have no visibility on my own accounts, for days now. After 45 minutes on the line with the phone support, i spoke to 3 different persons, and they were not able to tell me the balance of my accounts.
Net surface and app also a piece of garbage.
Choose an other bank, you have no service here to like.

My 84 years old mum is here in the UK with me. She cannot use the MBH Bank online bank, since they updated the App. Probably because of the password, we don't know. The phone customer service was polite and they tried to help. They advices us to use the videochat option on their website. That experience was just awful. An arrogant, rude guy. They should have an option for a family member to help an elderly person with that chat. I had to step in, because he confused my mum even more, she didn't understand the concept of online banking etc, and he was almost mocking her. I told him, I understand that now, I stepped in, he won't carry on, but I just wanted to ask for his general advice. He was rude, and disconnected the video. It was a good reminder why I don't want to move back to Hungary.
Nothing works properly at this bank and they shamelessly let the customers pay for all their failures.
