Reception lady in Vic was one of the rudest females I've come across.

You win my son's case the settlement but can't use the money NSW Trustee and Guardian are making it extremely difficult to access the funds I didn't want to put the funds with them it's virtually impossible to get the funds out of them in time to plan anytime can't believe the money is going to be held with them for another 3.5 years if i knew it was going to be this difficult to access the funds i wouldn't have started the case in the first place my son is not happy with your service neither am I.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IN THE NT!!!!! I used Maurice and Blackburn because I thought they fought for fare. All they did was charge me over $60 000.00 in "mediation costs" got me a pathetic permanent disability payout and told me to Go Away. I'm still on Workers Compensation because they can't and won't do anything but gut you dry. I was born in Darwin and this low act is just so typical of the NT.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU SEEK HELP FROM A TRUE LOCAL BECAUSE ALL MAURICE AND BLACKBURN WILL DO IS TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE AND GUT YOU.

Waiting over a week for a reply... multiple phonecalls.."well get an email to them to call you as a senior will call you back this day .. nothing? So called to check up whays happening...Ah well they will call by the next day... nothing called again... ahh by next week. Specific days given". Waiting so I took phone everywhere...waiting...Still no response... when i called again today...guess what they finish at 3pm on fridays.. tried another number after hours... took another message...getting concerned at the lack of professionalism here 😟 come on maurice blackburn. Email me if you can't call.

I needed an estate lawyer - signed up with Maurice Blackburn - then found out estates is ran through cairns office not locally - rarely spoke to solicitor, was given contradictory info, all direction I needed to research myself - it was a mess - initially thought the person I was speaking too was solicitor- only a paralegal - felt like Chinese whispers

I have had a lot of experience dealing with lawyers throughout my long career. I worked for years for Liquidators and Commercial finance. Dealt with hundreds and this firm is the worst I have ever encountered. They can talk the talk with the best but are rotten at walking the walk. Sacked them half way through and dealt with a good firm. Like a breath of fresh air. I cannot warn anyone about them enough. Do NOT believe their BS. Better call Saul. Even he would be better

I had a simple question relating to a Will and I needed interpretation with 2 clauses in the Will. I’m also an executor of the will which is lodged with Maurice Blackburn. There was not one lawyer or solicitor in the whole organisation who could help me. There were some friendly staff who initially listened to my concerns but I was shuffled from one department to another, until finally I was told that they can’t help with that sort of question. You would think the wills and probate, as well as the contesting a Will department of Maurice Blackburn would have at least one lawyer who had expertise in Will interpretation but they don’t have anyone who can help you if your’e uncertain what the clauses in a will mean. How can they possibly facilitate fair outcomes for anyone if they don’t have the ability or knowledge to answer basic questions?Anyway now I have received a reply to one of the clauses through legal aid which clarifies the whole will, Thankyou legal aid. I didn’t want to contest the Will, I just needed clarification on a couple of clauses in the Will, that’s all. And what about the lawyer who actually scripted the Will, surely he would have known what it meant.

Poor representation of the very start. Added expeditionary to my trauma and stress from my accident. Ended up in a very bad position where I took matters into my own hands and Sacked them after 12 months. Took another 12 months to get back on track. Had to go to the governing body to get a fee schedule which I was entitled too and the governing body agreed and they received a slap on the wrist. With that as I already knew I was severely overcharged. Unnecessary emails and drawn out phone calls. After settlement they continued to charge uplift fee, they had nothing to do with the case being won yet continues with the VULTURE mentality. Do not consider this firm at all to represent you go elsewhere. Be warned you will be treated as a dollar symbol.

Even though it turned out Maurice Blackburn Law firm couldn’t help me i feel they deserve the highest rating possible. My problem was dealt with with great empathy and understanding. My situation and options were explained clearly in a language I could understand right throughout the process. Every time I called I felt heard and understood which helped me through an extremely difficult time in my life. I can’t recommend and commend them enough.

I had a claim with MB which dragged on for 2.5 yrs.In this time i had only 2 ph conversations with 2 different lawyers & they changed lawyers 4 times.I finally sacked them & went with a more professional firm who got me 5 times what MB quoted.Mb still billed me for doing basically no work & when asked for itemised invoice wouldn't supply one.I will be contacting the legal practise board about this.All i can say is don't waste your money & go elsewhere.In answer to what they replied,they never tried to "reach out" lol they are liars.Number Zero lawyers & i use that word loosely.
