Used to be very good and used to get all my clothes from here. Things have increased in price, but some items are ridiculously overpriced. Their choice of underwear, in particular bras is appalling.

I made a large purchase at MATLAN of £54.60 and I am really disappointed and shocked by this company, MATLAN. I placed an order with them on January 26th 2024, Order number 557692267. Theoretically it was delivered to my front door on January 31st. The delivery person took a photo of my Matlan order in front of my door. Nobody rang my bell or knocked on my door. I only realised a parcel had been "delivered " when I received an email from the delivery company some hours later with a photo of my MATLAN parcel leaning against my front door. When I opened my front door no parcel from MATLAN or any other company could be found. I asked all my neighbours if they had it. When I contacted the delivery company they agreed that the delivery person had not followed the delivery rules and that the parcel was not delivered. One of my neighbours told me that when she was getting home to her property opposite mine saw someone coming away from my front door carrying a large black plastic bag and that she could clearly see MATLAN written on the bag. She arrived at her front door at moment that what would be after the delivery person had supposedly left the parcel and taken a photo of it .The delivery company asked me to contact MATLAN myself (apparently they are not allowed to contact them directly) and to forward to MATLAN all of the correspondence I had received that they had sent me confirming that the parcel had not been delivered. It seems that the delivery company has an agreement with certain companies that if their parcels or packages are not delivered then the seller (In this case MATLAN) are obliged to refund or to replace goods. I filled in the form on the MATLAN website; this is the only way to contact them, and attached the correspondence I had received from the delivery.
The reply from MATLAN was a nasty shock! Not only did they imply that I was a liar, they said there was irrefutable proof that the MATLAN parcel was delivered as there was a photo of it in front of my door taken by the delivery person. I paid £52.60 to MATLAN for the goods I bought from them. They blatantly ignored the correspondence from the delivery company.
MATLAN is a totally unethical company, with an indifferent attitude towards it's customers. I will certainly never buy anything from this money grabbing unethical business again.
