Ordered from the range delivery date has gone and no one can help will never order from the range again as they use this company and from day one been a nightmare even took day off

Maybe I should have read the reviews here before buying from The Range online! I suppose if you take delivery and keep your item then your experience might be a good one. However if, like me, you wish to return it then that positive will quickly turn negative.
I feel sorry for the staff of this company as it's modus operandi seems to be to frustrate customers who wish to return products bought online. The staff are no doubt under pressure to refute or delay refunds hoping that customers just give up and write off the amount.
They have a "Marketplace" set up where 3rd party, and probably small individual companies, to use their portal and brand name-The Range-to sell their products. They take a 11% to 18% commission on such sales. However once you try to return your item The Range abdicate all responsibility. You keep getting e-mails from different people saying how much they care etc in standard e-mails but their actions contradict this.
I paid by Paypal for some added security and finally received a refund of £39.99 six weeks after initiating my return request. It cost me £9 to return via UPS as it was too bulky to send via Royal Mail/Parcelforce.
I will avoid buying from The Range online in future and avoid the High St store unless I'm desperate!

Ordered dog beds. They sent blankets. Been trying for 6 months to get a refund. Diabolical customer service. Couldn’t contact then except by email which was either ignored or answered by someone who clearly had no clue. Had to threaten legal action before anything was done. Avoid this company at all costs.

Item did not arrive. Husband took day off work, nothing turned up. Impossible to speak with anybody, customer service is worst I've ever encountered as all done with email or WhatsApp and standard replies. Still not resolved so they still have my money for nothing in return. Have had to escalate with PayPal. I will never order anything from The Range, Homebase or Wilko again as they are owned by he same person under CD Superstores. Would have given zero stars, but have to give one! Don't use this company.

Order online, order accepted and payment taken. Tracked parcel till 3/11/2024 when it apparently arrived at postcode AB45 2RW which refers to Banff, Aberdeenshire. No contact since. Been in touch with carrier XPD who say no item received, need a consignment number which I don’t have. Can’t find any way to contact CDS SuperstoresInternational Ltd. Not a great deal of money involved but very disappointed in the whole thing.

Ordered item but old address was existed. So updated and alerted customer service immediately well in advance. But still failed to cancel order and successfully delivered at the old address. And someone with no moral received the parcel. Now I am disputing that I have not received the item and stupid customer service (multiple people) representatives sending email asking for all different sort of questions without checking the case. Worse one is offering SAE to pack 90cmX70cm glass. I am annoyed and frustrated that I cannot get hold of anyone apart from wait for someone to send me email again with different information. Are there any responsible person works? Never ever order online with this company.

Ordered 2 items on 18th Oct and 1 item came but other item no since of it 3 weeks later. I'm having to fight though PayPal for my £75.00 so I can get the item from someone else. The wrost company I have dealt with. If PayPal does not help me I will get my bank to help me get a refund as its fraud.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with they did not care one bit about my problems promise to phone back a number of times but never did the phone just rings for ever I feel sorry for the people at the range dockside Chatham kent who did everything they could to help but in the end the Range owners C.D.S superstores just don’t care about customers

Ordered and paid them my order vanished along with my money ! I’m hoping PayPal refund me ! Had I looked on this site first no way would I have used them that’s £131.99 I I now have to fight to get back !

You would think a company that is rated 0 if you could rate 0 would address the issues within their company but they just ignore it, why, because people buy from them, and if they have your money, who really cares, Trading Standards probably, Worst delivery service, delivered item to the wrong address, I had to go and collect item myself, totally avoid responsibility

I ordered 2 tops for a holiday, one arrived, I contacted The Range for a refund, they said it not them who must refund it’s the Marketplace seller who must refund me, The Range is owned by the Marketplace seller!! I have been emailed by 5 different people saying I must wait for the Marketplace seller to refund, they are owned by them!!

Terrible company!
I ordered a mattress through Range on 25th August , and cancelled it on the same day . Then on 28 th of August they taken the money from my account!!! I contacted the range several times , I have proof of email and WhatsApp messages!!! Will not be buying/ ordering anything through them !

Ordered a charging stand for my Apple Watch from this company, thinking I could trust them as they were part of The Range.
Sadly I was wrong.
The item arrived Damaged and due the the crumpled plastic packaging inside the tatty product box was the item Damaged and chipped, gave me the impression that they had sent me a previous customer return.
Tried contacting them but no luck, so went into my local The Range store, with item and receipt which has the range logo on it, they said could not give me a refund as I would have to deal with their company who sent it to me. Very shocking service .
The item only cost £4.76 but it is now more of a matter of principal and trustworthiness.
Contacted PayPal and raised a dispute and after a couple of weeks or so was informed that a refund had been agreed subject to me posting item back to sender and obtaining proof of postage .
You would think that they would send or e/mail me a postage label but not so.
The postage will cost me almost as much as the damaged item sent to me .
So my advice is avoid buying from this company or The Range at all costs , as they do not seem to give a monkeys about customer service or satisfaction .

Absolutely dreadful experience with CDS Item arrived smashed to pieces, paid £109 for item to arrive damaged beyond useful. Many emails sent back and forward and they dithered to refund. One month on and opened a case with ebay won my case with pictures and receipts and received my refund from ebay today (24/07/2024) I would advise not to order from this company as I have read numerous negative reviews on this company.

Awarded a rating of 1 because it won't let me select 0. Like all the other reviews below, shocking company and I am surprised that action hasn't been taken against them for being a scam company or them being removed from sites. They took my money quickly enough but I have received no product and no communication whatsoever, sent complaint but no response.

Do not order from Wilko.com. Ordered a shed from them over 6 weeks ago, chased them and they said it had been delivered, I asked to see the POD and they said they would get it and forward it on, that was almost a month ago and i've chased them endless times since. Now £700.00 out of pocket. They are a scam. Please don't buy from them.

Terrible company that is part of The Range. Like others have said AVOID! Placed an order but cancelled and decided to shop elsewhere after seeing all the countless negative reviews of shoddy goods arriving after long delays or no orders being delivered atall.
It took 1.5hrs hours on the phone to get hold of someone in ‘customer service’ who said it would take upto 4 days for CDS to action a refund?!
10 days on and still waiting for the refund to be processed. Have had to open a case with PayPal.

Disgusting on line company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Email after Email still no item. appauling company. Wish I’d read reviews first. Do not order from this company. U only have to read all reviews to know you need to avoid. I’d not even give 1 star.

I didn't receive item . They said did I want a refund or replacement I asked for replacement they started to process a refund they gave me 2 seperate payments after a long email journey.I emailed to say I had only been given partial refund.A month after ordering I am still waiting for £4.99 . Said to say this is a bad reflection on ordering the fantastic Wilko goods
