Stitches of Margot is NOT a store in Savannah. I live in the Savannah area. It’s a phony stupid Chinese Company that sells cheap crap. Thought I was smarter than this but I got scammed. Waiting for my dress shipped from China. Know it’s going to be crap but st least I only lost 40.00. This website pop up on Facebook Marketplace.

If I could do minus 5* I would. Shocking way to exploit customers by claiming to be a real boutique with a sad story about the owner having cancer. Website now unsafe and cannot find any reference to this ‘shop’ online now. I spent £150 having just been in St Ives and it was the middle of the night, scrolling on my phone whilst in hospital with my dad who was on end of life. If I could show you photos of the pile of rubbish I received you would not purchase. No return address, some emails bounced back others unanswered. Managed to get charge back through my bank and items went to charity.

I fell for another Chinese scam!
They are getting so good at their advertisement. As soon as I saw they were coming from China I knew. Got my money back from visa. Also, never use pay pal. They are just as bad. Took over 6 months last time I fell for this to get my money back

SCAM……ordered 3 items not what was advertised…nothing like what was advertised..complete and utter garbage! They are NOT Margots boutique and I think they are selling under other names also..They should be ashamed of themselves pretending to be a dying woman closing her business…disgraceful.
Luckily I paid through PayPal and they are dealing with this…always use PayPal ..always.

Absolute scam. When I finally bought in and opened a case on PayPal they were rude and you could tell scam all the way. My goods came and yes smelly and no labels and stickers on the clear bag in Chinese. PayPal closed my case due to goods received. Please do not buy from Margots St Ives.The bad is not leather and the clothes not fit for purpose.

I purchased a trouser suit and shorts with matching shirt from what I thought was a lovely boutique in St Ives that was closing down!! Wrong, it’s a warehouse in China. The clothing that arrived wasn’t fit to wear, it’s poor quality and nothing like the models’ photographs.
I asked for a refund but they offer you 20% off and you can keep the clothes! Or send back at your cost which was £34.75 from Royal Mail. Needless to say I wasn’t paying that price incase I never got my £88. I ended up accepting 30% refund as it was just hassle.
Clothes have been donated to charity although I have no clue if they will just bin them.
So beware, don’t fall for the family run business and the Mother is retiring sale like I did. AVOID!!!!
Only plus is their Customer Service is prompt and polite.

Margot’s boutique doesn’t really exist the clothes are shipped from China, I ordered a pair of linen trousers that was supposed to be in the closing down sale when they finally arrived they weren’t linen but cheap cotton and polyester, I’m glad I didn’t buy anything else as the clothes looked good quality on the website but they are very cheaply made, poor quality Chinese tat!
The picture of ‘Margot’ and her daughters on the website and social media is obviously AI generated.
This is another scam from China posing as a UK company with a sob story about the store having to close due to the owners ill health.
I’m assuming the 5* reviews on here are all fake as well!!!

Would never buy from this company again.
My order took 2 weeks to arrive the quality of the clothes are very poor. Unfortunately I noted the return policy after I had paid for the goods and so I can not return the goods. These clothes are not of the quality I expected - they are cheap and no where near the quality I expected given their pre sale price. These clothes will be going straight in the bin and I feel totally conned.

I ordered a polo knock jumper from their farewell sale. It took three weeks to arrive.
It arrived without an invoice/customer receipt of any kind (so no item code) and no details as regards a possible return.
After emailing the company, I learnt that my jumper came from China!
It is chunkier than described and poorly constructed with poor finishing on the inside seams.
After sending an email, I received a prompt response offering a 20% reduction if I chose to keep it as returning the jumper was likely to incur a hefty postal return charge to China!
This company needs to be transparent as regards costly and inconvenient returns.
I'm truly sad for the health issues faced by the original owner, but it would seem that the company isn't ceasing to trade but being taken on by her daughters.
The garment images and descriptions just haven't matched the quality of the product I received.
Selling substandard garments at inflated prices and being evasive about difficult returns isn't the way to future success.

I ordered a linen blouse...arrived with a label saying 95% polyester.
I also ordered what was advertised as a Cashmere cardigan. No labels on the item and not cashmere.
I tracked my payment on pay pal and their business type says: Pet Shops, Pet Food and Supplies.

This online retailer is a scam. It’s time trust pilot removed the link to visit website that doesn’t exist…

Scam - Awful online store, product received looks nothing like online photo. Total scam do not buy from this company based in China.

I wish I'd read some of these reviews before I ordered (£257). Yep - no such boutique in St.Ives. a total scam. Now the site is saying it's unsafe. I've sent an email to them requesting my money back immediately and my bank is also looking into this. I feel so bad as my friend also spent over £200. This is outrageous how they have used a women's (Margot) health as a ploy to get people to buy clothes. When I checked my bank statement it said I had paid Evelyn's Boutique and another different name completely showed on my friends statement. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM WHAT IS SUPPOSEDLY MARGOT'S BOUTIQUE.

Total Scam. There is no shop in St Ives . Tried contacting via their mobile no joy as doesn’t connect. Probably a false no. I checked my bank account regarding something else only to see that a payment had gone out to ‘SP Evelyn’s Boutique’ ? Contacted my bank re suspicious scam but had to wait 14 days to see if goods turned up . Unfortunately the dress did turn up . Nothing like advertised and certainly Not a quality item . Made of polyester and probably cost £2 to make. And the reason it took so long to arrive ? Yes it came from China ! My bank is now looking into it.

I rate one star as there was no option to rate lower! What an appallingly crap store, their bio all sounded to good sad and genuine about the sick lady who designed all her own clothes, I fell in love with a dress and bought it, it arrived after three weeks and the quality was so poor cheap polyester plastic and the design nothing like the picture I am so disappointed in myself for falling for all this rubbish, I have been offered 10% off return at extra cost or a item of same value as it’s too expensive to send back and don’t know which option to take ?

This is not what it seems. I ordered a coat and a cardigan and they are off such poor quality I suspect this is a offshore account running a sweat shop.
Save your money even though the website picture and styles look good

Wow do I feel a fool…the breathable fabric dress is plastic polyester, the quality is an absolute disgrace.
As for the genuine leather bags,they are anything but,unfortunately plastic again and utter toot….
The order took 19 days to arrive…
I have asked for a refund,as the description is all a fairy tale and nothing like reality,an utter con all round.But I won’t hold my breath.
I’m so so angry,mainly with myself to get caught up in this scam.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.unless you like overpriced Rubbish, you could probably find these on TEMU/SHEIN.

Scam, read all reviews before purchasing, the good ones are not real. They ship from Asia, the quality is extremely poor, all on fake sale so no returns allowed. Sizing is very off.

Shameless scammers. Using false people and situation to fob you off with cheap, nasty clothing. They must use AI to respond to emails and they tell you it’s expensive and time consuming to return goods to Asia for refund. Steer clear. Is there no organisation who can shut these people down?
