Didn’t stick to quoted job price
Pleasant staff, but arrived late. Despite clear instructions from us that the furniture was to be delivered to a basement and not the ground floor MV Putney denied all knowledge and demanded to be paid more than they had. quoted once they had arrived at the delivery destination and there was little that we could do other than acquiesce. We additionally brought three people to help them with the move and didn’t require MV Putney to reassemble the furniture as we had asked them to include in their original quotation yet they still asked for more money.
They finished the job well within the quoted time frame despite arriving late and arguing in the street for 20 minutes about the price thanks to the additional help that we had provided. We were left feeling that they had taken advantage of us essentially holding our furniture to ransom.
Disappointed given the other reviews on this site.
