Steer clear of Makrom shirts
I have bought a lot of shirts from Makrom, and thought they were good people UNTIL I bought one which shrank in an eco wash. Instead of apologising and sending a new one, Makrom Management said “You will need to send back the items packed in its original packaging with the labels attached.” In the next email, they said “As per our return policy we have a right to refuse items which have been worn, washed & without the original packaging labels.” It all just makes a mockery of what a guarantee means.
You have been warned that you must retain the packaging and keep the labels attached to the shirt until you have washed it at least once in case it shrinks.
I was telling my friends how good Makrom were, but how wrong it turns out I was when I had a problem. It doesn’t matter then how good a customer you have been.

We have tried our best in resolving the situation for all parties, including offering you an exchange or refund.
As explained in the email to you, the first email which was sent to you was a generic email we send to everyone which puts through a refund or exchange request via email.
In the second email, we simply explained our company policy on refunds and exchanges, once you had emailed us regarding trading standards & warranty.
We had not said no, or refused your request in replacing the shirt. We clearly explained in the email We have a right to ask for the item to be sent back to us, which you had claimed is faulty, in order for us to inspect and take back to the manufacturer, as was also mentioned in the previous email. "As we have rarely heard of our products shrinking in the wash"
To clarify with you, we have not refused your request on exchanging or refunding, we have simply requested the shirt back for inspection as we have a right to do so.
We of course do not expect customers to hold on to labels once they have washed the products.

My Order was delivered promptly unfortunately it was the wrong size and size required currently sold out . The Shirt was beautifully made and material of good quality will definitely be ordering from site again.

I ordered a shirt which came quickly…
I ordered a shirt which came quickly from the UK to the other side of the world in NZ. Awesome quality too. The sizing was incorrect and didn't correspond to the online size chart. Makrom did a great job assessing my claim for a refund, and they returned the total amount, including shipping.

Very good return/replacement service
I like the "different" shirts, but even more I am impressed by the speed of service. ordered them on 9 May but didn't notice that I had ordered the wrong sizes. The replacements were delivered on 17 May, so they have been back and forth three times over 8 days, including a weekend. Well done to you and to the Royal Mail!
