Purchased 20th may refund issued 3rd July poor customer service
I placed an order for a top for my husband’s birthday on 20th May. We went on holiday and returned to find it had already been delivered. The top didn’t fit, so I requested an exchange for an XL, as the 14-day window for a refund had passed. This was accepted.
I waited for the replacement, but it never arrived. After repeatedly emailing, I was told my refund would be processed immediately, since no replacement had been sent and I now had no gift for my husband’s birthday.
I returned the original top around 1st–2nd July. At that point, I was told no refund would be processed until the item had been inspected — a policy I understand, but a clear change in tone from the earlier email promising an immediate refund.
Once the inspection was done, I was refunded £395 instead of the £400 I paid, with the difference explained as a £4.26 delivery charge for the return. After nearly two months of delays and mixed messages, they still deducted a delivery fee.
This has been a frustrating and poorly handled experience. As a well-known brand, I’d expect better communication and, given the circumstances, I’d have expected the courtesy of a full refund without a delivery deduction. Disappointing service from Maharishi.
Many retailers waive return postage in cases like this as a goodwill gesture, especially after this many delays, clearly not Maharishi.
A very good experience ordering from Canada
I had a very good experience ordering from Canada and received fast delivery and the brand pre-pay all import duty and charges.
Awful all around
I ordered the same tee in two different colours but the same size, and now I have to return one of them because it's way too big. How do you even manage to do that? Couldn't find the order on their returns portal, emailed their support and AI answered. It wasn't helpful at all, but hey at least this time I got some kind of a response from them. Will avoid from now on

ordered some items in the live sale - thought i had a great deal and some of the items i have been looking at for a while - ordered - paid and waited for delivery only to be emailed saying the order had been cancelled due to lack of stock. not at all a happy experience for me. something went wrong stock control wise from their side - disappointed.

El paquete llegó tarde, lo rechacé, pero aún no me devuelven mi dinero.
No comprar online esta marca es un dolor de cabeza y se rehúsan a devolver dinero.

First started buying from Floral Street and Truman Brewery sales in early 2000’s have had all sorts over the years - snopants, tees, jackets, crew necks, hoodies, denim. Favourite brand alongside Y3 until about 2010. Recently started buying ‘vintage’ pieces, and visited GPS and bought first pair of new in 15 years. Some asym cargo track pants. Return to brilliant quality, everything done for a reason, great ATD and will be buying more again. Great brand back on top. I don’t like some of the more ‘obvious’ embroidery, mainly as I am 46 and like Hokusai wave, skulls and bones and standard bonsai, as well as some MHI, but am pleased to have an all time favourite brand to call upon again…everyone instore very helpful also

'Dirty'
Bought some items online in the sale... I decided to keep some and returned some.
I was issued with a refund which was less than I was expecting and when I reached out to enquire I was informed I was deducted a 'dry cleaning fee' for 1 t-shirt which was supposedly dirty, which I'd tried on for 20 seconds. The company could provide no proof of the t-shirt being dirty; I have no idea what they consider 'dirty', whether it was sent to me dirty, or whether it became dirty in the warehouse when processing the return. Support is bad, it's a terrible way to do business / treat customers & I won't be buying from the brand again. Hope it was the fee.

I just brought a T-shirt in the online sale. Only for an hour later to say they have an inventory issue we are refunding you. I’m like what. You have it or advertised that you have it. Incompetence. My first time of online shopping with them. Probably my last. Was really looking forward to wearing it. Given that it’s extremely expensive to get a bargain would have been good. But now :(
Quality issues
I got what I thought was a great jacket (Pachwork Donkey Jacket) in the Maharishi winter sale and after only two days one of the buttons is coming off...what!
Now I either have to go through the pain of return forms and shipping it back .....and being without a much needed jacket for some weeks. Or get it repaired locally here in rural Suffolk for which Anttoni at Maharishi says they will reimburse me for, but I then lose any further guarantees and the product becomes unreturnable.
So let's see if they refund me and if the jacket has any other issues.
Not satisfied with my first Maharishi buying experience which has turned into a headache.

Don't Be Fooled - Terrible Terrible Brand
This is an OK clothing brand with some nice, though very overpriced clothes. However, as evident in many reviews on this page, their customer service is DIABOLICAL. It's at a level I have not experienced in the UK, especially from a brand that tries to maintain a premium façade.
I purchased a jacket at their store in London. A few days later I found out the same jacket is £50 cheaper online. So I contact their customer service (11 days after my purchase) and ask to make a return.
Three days pass until I get an answer, and I am told all store sales are final (!) - no refunds and no returns. This is not mentioned anywhere in store, not in signage and not by staff. I asked them why would store customers be disadvantaged and I want the difference in price issued to me as a partial refund, and they never bother replying. A few days later I chase and ask again for a partial refund to be issued to me to reflect the lower price online, and I am told I am now out of the 14-day post-purchase window and therefore they will not honour it. When I tell them the only reason I am out of the window is because they took days to reply, I am told that's my problem.
I was blown away - I told them they are about to lose a customer for life, they didn't bother answering. So here is the review - I will never go back there, and neither should you. Go buy from a brand that doesn't hate its customers.

Great clothing, VERY BAD service.
Placed an order over a week ago which was cancelled after two days saying that they had stock issues. It’s been over a week and I have yet to receive a refund.
It appears that there is zero client sensitivity, advertising stock they do not have and then after two days of waiting, order is cancelled and then a further week or more refund yet to be seen and no signs of replying to my email.

Thought I'd add a positive review! Received my order promptly and without issue. Would give 5 stars if the returns were free as I had to return my order - the shoes I ordered were too small, no fault of the store. But so far it's been a pretty seamless transaction! Thank you.
I made order second time and it’s worst…
I made order second time and it’s worst customer service ever. One week passed and they didn’t sent me a letter. It’s been said that delivery takes 5 business days. So that’s a week. Nothing. I wrote them. And the answer was all about complain. Bla bla bla. The first time I ordered for a 1000 euros was the same. Excuses and excuses. I will not order third time. Thank you. Such a perfect clothes and such a bad service.
Worst ever customer service
I love their clothing, but the customer service is THE worst I have ever experienced in online retail. I ordered an item to be sent to Australia, they sent me the wrong item. No one answers the phone or the emails, trying to get an exchange or refund is a nightmare. Still awaiting response from them. Best avoided .
They take your money...and don't deliver the item
Placed an order on the maharishi.com website. Over 10 days later, and the item has not been delivered. Despite sending them a number of emails to find out where my item is, I have had only one response. They claimed that they are still looking for the item in their warehouse and that they would get back to me by the end of the day. They did not. I have had to raise a chargeback for the item with my credit card company. Avoid buying from Maharishi online. They took my money, and delivered nothing.
