Customer service was helpful when I had a sizing question. The dress I received fits great and feels soft. Would order again without hesitation.

The designs are so unique compared to other stores. I picked the floral midi dress and it’s now one of my favorites in my wardrobe.

This is a scam. I ordered a skirt and dress from this site that is reported to be closing due to an illness. The items I ordered were listed as cotton and linen. When they came, internationally, they were polyester. I searched for the skirt and found it listed on other sites set up the same way, same story just different company name. They have been reported to BBB.

I bought two dresses because of the discount and ended up loving both. The quality is actually really nice for the price. Definitely worth it.

I was searching for orthopedic slip ons and found “Orthopedic Loafers” at Madison May. The listing claimed “Relieves Foot Pain: Arch support reduces pressure on heels and flat feet.” I assumed they would be structured shoes something like Merrell shoes.

They arrived and are more like slippers with no arch at all and the soles are thinner than flip flops about 1/4 inch. I don’t hate them, in fact they’re very cute and they fit. But because I have a plate in my foot I’m not able to walk flat or barefoot I need an arch and cushion. So I can’t wear them at all even around the house.

Although the product’s primary advertised feature—orthopedic arch support—is completely absent they refused to send me a return label and said I had to return them TO CHINA in order to get a refund.

I will be contacting my credit card company requesting a chargeback under “item not as described.” If you buy anything there make sure it is what you want and need. To ship these back to China would cost almost as much as I paid.

I try to frequent mom and pop websites over the bigger sites. It’s unfortunate that sites like Madison May Boutique give independent merchants a bad name.

I ordered the floral maxi dress and honestly didn’t expect it to be this pretty in real life. The fabric feels light and perfect for summer. Got so many compliments already!

I know I’m out $60+ with no full refund without a major risk of mailing my dresses back to China.
Shopping should not be such a high risk gamble. Stay safe with companies who stand behind their products and policies.,

The Arin™ | Elegant Ribbed Knitted Dress was a complete disappointment. The dress looks absolutely nothing like the photos on the website. The fit was totally off and the material was shockingly cheap — thin, flimsy, and almost completely transparent. There is nothing “elegant” about it. It honestly felt like a very low-quality fast fashion item being sold at a much higher price.

The worst part is the return process. If you want to return the item, you are required to pay to ship it all the way back to China. After already paying for international return shipping, they then emailed me claiming the package is being held in customs and that I now need to pay an additional customs tax for them to receive the return.

As a customer, there is no way for me to estimate or prepay customs taxes for another country when returning an item. That responsibility should be handled by the company receiving the returned merchandise. Expecting customers to cover international return shipping and surprise customs fees is unreasonable and feels like a tactic to discourage refunds.

Between the misleading photos, poor quality material, terrible fit, and a return policy that shifts all the cost and risk onto the customer, this was a terrible buying experience. I strongly advise others to think twice before ordering.
