I have had issues for years with finding an iPad case that my autistic child couldn’t open or take apart. He smashes screens to the point he has snapped the metal casing on the iPads at least 6 repairs a month, costing over a thousand pounds in repairs. I reached out to Maclocks to try and see if they had a case he couldn’t get through and a screen protector that would last more than one headbutt. (Please don’t judge my son has no understanding).
Ian from maclocks suggested a key locked case, and screen protector which we tried and it worked as he couldn’t get into it but he couldn’t break it as it’s metal. I bought another one as well, had constant communication asking if I needed any support or any help, and sent me a screw in case as well.
The lock on one broke yesterday after 4 months, which it gets locked and unlocked to charge so is constantly in use and I’ve emailed Ian again. He’s replied almost immediately and is sending out new replacements for the lock.
As someone who has a severely autistic child other parents will understand how hard it is to get something that can help the issues we have whilst still letting him enjoy something he likes. I’ve recommended this company and the cases to a few Sen parents because it’s a common theme that children can take off the cases and no one does something more robust. The customer service is fantastic and it’s a little less stress for everyone when you get someone who is as understanding as maclocks are.

They are very quick to fill orders. If something is backordered, they communicate well and even try to find you a similar product. I have filled many purchases with them and they have been an awesome company to work with!

Emailing customer service was quick and responsive. My order did not ship right away, but I was able to get expedited shipping to still get my order quickly.

It took two tries to get the correct attachment but everyone was great to work with. My return processed and the correct lock attachment did get ordered the 2nd time.

I love your products, but I think it’s crazy that I ordered a tiny piece of metal (I changed MacBook Pro models, so I needed a new metal clip thing) and the shipping cost as much as the metal clip.
