Don't trust this company (Maanta Outdoor) to supply a new sail in perfect condition. Also, when you notify the fact that they have sent a soiled sail, don't expect their Customer Services to have the integrity and/or honesty to admit the issue and resolve it.
Don't believe their claim regarding quality assurance - if it existed, the sail they sent to me would not have been despatched.
I purchased a 6m square Solaris waterproof sail on 30 June 2025.
When I ordered online, it was showing as 'in stock'. When it didn't arrive on the promised delivery date (07 July 2025) I called the office, and after several attempts to get through, was told that the sail hadn't even been made!
Joseph apologised and said he would request that the sail be manufactured as a priority.
The sail finally arrived on 17 July 2025, not long before I was due to be away for 4 weeks - so there wasn’t time to install and fully tension the sail before I went away (Maanta say tensioning may take several weeks).
I had seen the terms and conditions - so I carefully unpacked the sail in my house - so as not to damage it before installation (not easy for a 36 square metre sail) and checked as well as I could that it looked ok - all seemed fine.
When I returned from my trip, I installed the sail and tested it for water run-off. It was immediately apparent that the sail was stained with what looked like detergent - it foamed when it was initially wet.
Something had obviously been rubbed onto the sail, presumably to remove a stain during production - the 'wipe marks' could be seen through the sail. Unlike the rest of the sail, water didn't bead on the stained area.
The sail was well packaged, the box was not damaged and the sail was inside a clean, unmarked cloth bag. It must have been stained before it was packaged and despatched.
When I contacted Maanta Outdoor to explain and send photos of the stain, they seemed to be interested and asked for more photos.
I sent additional photos but received no reply - when I chased for a response, I was told that they couldn't open the additional photos, even though they were from the same camera and in the same format as the initial photos I had sent! They didn't bother to let me know that they couldn't see them.
Eventually, after more chasing, the response from Maanta Outdoor was to hide behind their terms and conditions and say that I notified them too late! The only reason I was 'too late' was because they mis-managed my order and didn't send the sail in time for me to install and tension it before I went away!
Further chasing prompted a patronising response… that the marks were "compatible with external factors" - absolute nonsense!
To add further insult, they sent (and I refused delivery of) some 'complimentary' stain remover!
It's such a shame when a seemingly reputable company that boasts of quality assured products, proves to be untrustworthy and won't take responsibility when they get something wrong.

The expert support from Maanta enabled us to get the perfect trapezoid shaded sail made to fit our patio. Their excellent product range makes it easy to find the ideal solution. We are especially delighted with the ability to roll-up our sail whenever the winds pick-up. So thanks to Maanta we can relish summer, whatever the weather!

I ordered two shade sails with poles from Maanta, with the sails made to bespoke sizes. The communication was excellent and I was kept informed as my sails were cut and manufactured. On arrival, I could immediately see that everything was of a very high quality. The sails were made exactly to spec, and once installed looked striking and stylish. I’m sure there are cheaper alternatives, but I consider Maanta’s sails and hardware to be good value given that every detail is of such a high quality. The delivery was swift too, especially given the the sails were made to order. Top marks all round.

I bought 2 x easy clear blinds from Maanta.
They were good quality and fairly straightforward instructions to assemble and fit. They came in good time. I mislaid a tiny metal fixing block and they sent me another one immediately. Great product, good price and excellent after sales service.

I have been dealing with Joseph in the customer services team while planning an out door blind, the service and assistance has been excellent and patience as I navigated through sizes and installation options was super.
I have placed the order and fully expect an excellent product to arrive given level of service so far.

I replaced my shade sail (6m x 4m) of several years old after I accidently damaged it, the improvements / upgrades to the st/st fittings and webbing are all very good.
Ordering is easy, lead-time to dispatch is very quick and the delivery service used were also very good.
Value for money for the quality is excellent.

I found the estimator who worked on our project very helpful. The sail arrived very well packed with clear instructions and i would recommend Maanta to anyone looking for a sun / weather shade.

Quality clear roller blind arrived as scheduled & everything was correctly despatched. Amazed how heavy duty the blind was. Had to guess at a couple of the installation procedures but mostly clear.

I ordered some material samples to assess whether they would be suitable for some exterior blinds that I may purchase. The company were very efficient in processing my order, and the samples arrived very quickly. At all times I was kept fully informed both by the company and their nominated carrier as to the whereabouts of my package. All in all Maanta provided excellent service.

After a little delay in coming back to me I was contacted to say the colour I ordered was no longer in stock but gave me the alternatives. I explained the order was needed for the weekend and whilst not promising, they got the delivery from Italy to me in 36 hours, which was brilliant. Despite the initial delay they acted quickly and dealt with the problem. Fantastic!

Great product, excellent customer service!

Overall I would say this is a good product. Unlike cheap shade sails, it is secured not only by the reinforced corners themselves, but also by nylon webbing that runs through sleeves along each edge. This spreads the load and makes for a much stronger arrangement. The one critism I would have is, the directions are not totally clear when you get to the point of attaching the sail. They are tough to get ahold of by phone.

Products looked sturdy, read the reviews, watched the installation videos and chose a ReefRoll shade. Measured up and ordered on 7th August with estimated delivery of the 21/8/24 However a new delivery date was sooner 14/8/24. I was kept informed by email of order acceptance and progress. Delivery was by DPD - again I was kept informed at every step. I expected some delay but it was quick and the ReefRoll arrived on the 14/8/24. Box was slightly battered on arrival - but was well wrapped up inside and no issues. Easy to put together and install. Very impressed with the quality of the product and fixing, plus overall a very quick process order to delivery.

Ordered one day delivered 3 days later from Italy, product was simple to erect with very clear instructions. They also look very good on my balcony. EZ masts, would buy again. Quality materials with the rope and pulleys and masts are very strong. Would recommend them to anyone, great purchase and the price is very competitive.

Good strong product but quite difficult to assemble. It looks good when up.

Original review: The specific poles I had ordered were not in stock (despite being available for sale by the company online) so while I received UPS shipping notices, for which we changed plans to stay in for, nothing arrived. Customer service by email is slow and intermittent with days passing between replies. I can’t comment on the product yet as it hasn’t arrived…

Update: switching to calling Maanta made all the difference - calls are answered quickly and follow up emails sent promptly. The shipping problems were resolved and good shipped next day delivery which we have now received. By way of apology they also kindly offered us a gift of an accessory.

Conclusion: a frustrating initial experience that they turned around.

Product arrived within 10 mins of allotted slot. The sail looks sturdy and well constructed. Haven't had time to erect it yet hence the 4 stars. Time will tell if it's a great purchase as significantly more pricey than our last 1 but is definitly weightier and a better design.
