Lytx is nothing but a tool for companies to mentally abuse their drivers.
It is only ever used against the driver. Any incident where the driver is involved in a near collision that is not the drivers fault, the company using these cameras and Lytx, want nothing to do with it.
I drive an articulated lorry and I have had several incidents where the company I work for and Lytx did f!!(k all about.
One involved a Hailmann AG lorry undertaking me on the hardshoulder and nearly killing the highway maintenance working on the hardshoulder, if I didn't slow down the foreign lorry would crashed into me pushing me onto the vehicles on the right me. Their a f!!(king disgrace.
Customer service is the worst
Customer service is the worst. Email is the only way they communicate with you and that usually takes 3 months if at all
System is constantly inaccurate
System is constantly inaccurate. They need to better program the system. When you question their videos they become offended and make excuses instead of admitting it’s junk. How many stop signs do you know that pop up in middle of 65mph highway? Because it captures several everyday apparently in different cameras.
Log auditing
I use the safety suite for log auditing, its a great product. Charlene has been great to work with.

Our experience with Lytx is 4.5 stars with our movement to 5 stars. It is still new for us as we are just launching the coaching model structure, but like a new car, we still are learning new features that surprise and impress us.

Troubleshooting and RMA process is the most onerous of any of our vendors. Very tedious and your tech must have load of patience
Does NOT stand by product
We were told cameras would work in older equipment, even supplying them with Make, Model, Year and Vin#, FYI, they do NOT. We had a couple of incidents and the cameras FAILED to record anything and customer service from Lytx was non existent. They are only after the money and the sales, with absolutely NO customer service or retention in mind. I would rate them a negative number if rating would allow.
Disappointed be better America
If I could rate this system lower I absolutely would. There is nothing more disgusting than some useless waste of space sitting behind a computer telling a hard working useful member of society how to do a job the person behind the computer has absolutely no understanding of. Truck drivers make this world work and save lives. Every person working at lytx is worth less than the dog scat on the bottom of the boot of any man with a real job. The camera shows the worst angles making drivers look guilty. This is a system to fire employees not coach better drivers. If you want to coach drivers sit in the truck don’t sit behind a desk. A dash cam is the show fault in wrecks a driver cam is for sexual gratification of depraved losers. Get a real job. Any real driver is dissatisfied and disappointed. Be better America.
Lytx is dumb …
Since my company put this massive distraction in their trucks. More accidents have occurred. Drivers have fallen a sleep, driver has hit a damn bridge. You’d think that the AI would have spewed out noises and flashy lights. Like we were told it’d do. Instead, management pulls you in to review video snippets of you looking down for a brief second and asking what you looked at. Heaven forbid you change your music selection. That’s what lytx is more concerned with. Inward facing cameras are a bad idea all around.
Lytx sold us a LIE!!!
Lytx DashCams has been one of the worst companies I have ever had to work with in my professional career. From day one they sold us a lie. We were told that their equipment would work with our older fleet of trucks. Within a week of signing on the dotted line we were informed that their ELD software at the time would not work with some of our fleet as they are older models. Lytx's customer support is might as well be nonextant. If you put a support ticket in they may get back to you in a month, at least this is what we have experienced at our company. I have been overcharged for a year because Lytx as not sent me equipment to finish our installs. The tech that they hired to do the installs even said he did not have all the equipment, Lytx disagrees. I have brand new cameras sitting that have never been used because Lytx refuses to send me the parts to complete our installs. And when I asked them to cancel those cameras they informed me that I would have to buy out the contract to cancel them.
Our fleet has had a couple incidents and the cameras did not even record the event nor where we even able to go back and download the event. The system is a complete joke, I would advice if you value your company, your money and your time to never go into business with Lytx.
Horrible company
Horrible company. They lie about features and details to make the sale. Zero customer service or support. They over billed me for additional camera service they did not provide then they told me it’s my job to prove they made a mistake. When i proved it they ghosted me and won’t return my calls or emails. Run!!!!!!!!

thx lytx just printed off what your camera does. thx for posting that you snitch on drivers for smoking or eating and drinking behind the wheel. reguardless of what you may think that is not illegal to do. This is a can of worms that you opened. Eating and drinking, as well as smoking is not distraction. However reporting this so called bad behavior to companies is an invasion of privacy. if my company calls me out on that or because i may yawn while driving, I predict a nice big lawsuit worth millions of dollar will be on its way to my pockets. i do not approve or give consent of my biometrics either. it may be legal in ca. but my privacy is in the constitution drive cameras are not. i suggest you keep your cameras to detecting holding a cell phone or bad behavior such as speeding. keep your cameras off my smoking or eating and drinking
Easily the worse experience and talk…
Easily the worse experience and talk about over promise under delivery. It is a pain to change or do anything to your system without calling customer service. When you do, they send you to an aggressive offshore call center. This company is 100% cheap and give you the worst product after you sign a contract, go to any other company, Im going to break the contract and possibly sue based on them not being able to record an accident that happened.
