Just had them complete some work on our electrics.
They were great to talk to, a great laugh and done a fantastic job while explaining everything they needed to do and gave us a better understanding.
We told them not to worry about cleaning up but they insisted and did a fantastic job cleaning everything up.

We first came across Lux Developments while they were working on a project near our home. From the outset, we were impressed by the consistent progress—every day we passed by, there was clear activity on site. As the build progressed, the quality of the work really stood out.

When we were ready to begin a project on our own home, we approached several companies, including Lux. From the initial site visit, Dan from Lux made a strong impression. He was knowledgeable, approachable, and communicated clearly throughout. The quote provided was detailed and easy to understand, with each element clearly costed.

Although Lux was not the cheapest option, Dan took the time to understand our budget and worked with us to explore adjustments that would help make the project achievable. He was extremely accommodating with his time and always willing to provide helpful guidance, which gave us great confidence in choosing Lux for our build.

Throughout the project, Lux has been outstanding. Communication has been excellent, with a consistent presence on site each day. Any issues that have arisen have been clearly explained, along with any potential cost implications. Even additional work outside of the original contract has never been too much trouble.

We have felt completely at ease throughout the entire process, confident that our home has been in safe hands. We would not hesitate to recommend Lux Developments.

Lux Developments converted our garage and completed a kitchen extension, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. They were recommended by our architect.

Absolutely fantastic. Have used Lux for work on 4 homes I have lived in. Nothing is too much for them. Andy and Chris are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly honest. Their work is second to none. Attention to detail is 100%. From start to finish there is nothing they can’t or won’t do, their work is of the highest standard. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. We couldn't have been happier chosing to use LUX Construction! They have made the process of large-scale building works on our house a very enjoyable experience (and being an Architect myself, I know how difficult that is to achieve!) Not only were they always friendly, kept us informed of progress and provided a very open/collaborative approach to discuss details and design decisions, the finished quality of the work is excellent. We wanted a ground floor extension to our house for an open plan living area including kitchen. We contracted Lux from a recommendation from our architect and we were very impressed with everything they did, from scheduling work, the workmanship of the staff to completing the project on time. We had a loft extension
built in our house by LUX. Excellent company to work with and very reasonably priced. Estimates were very close to the end costs and completed within the expected timeframe. Good quality craftsmanship and would highly recommend.

Lux Developments built a garden office for me recently. The whole process was great from start to finish and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Communication was very good and the finished office looks fantastic. I think it even has better insulation than my house.

They were here most of the time when they said they would be. Staff were competant at doing there jobs. Worked tirelessly and friendly. Quality of work was high.
Opportunity for improvement includes being more proactive with their communication regarding what is and is not included in the work schedule/contract and consideration of customers home and garden...very untidy at times.

These guys were recommended by a friend. It's hard to find a decent, trustworthy, reliable builder these days. We required a small extension and new Kitchen. Dan & his team were fantastic, always keeping us in the loop and dealing with any issues that cropped up, as they do when you start knocking things down.
