Lumos Helmet Recenzje 

I bought a Lumos Matrix MIPS helmet, and after a few months, the remote control turned out to be defective. I contacted the seller to exchange the remote, the helmet being still under warranty, but they redirected me to Lumos.

At first, Lumos responded to my emails, but after numerous exchanges where I had to repeatedly explain my situation, they finally sent me a replacement remote... which was not compatible with my helmet. Even worse, when I tried to pair my helmet with this new remote, the helmet started to malfunction completely.

I contacted Lumos again, but their customer service was supposedly on Christmas vacation (on January 22!). Then, they gave irrelevant responses, and despite my many follow-ups, they eventually stopped replying altogether.

In short, either this company is in total disarray, or they are trying to evade their responsibilities and avoid replacing products under warranty. A disaster. Avoid at all costs!

Bought a Fly Pro helmet with firefly from Ebay seller so I can't vouch for Lumos on that department.
However the helmet is top notch quality, extremely light and fits brilliantly along with the MIPS.
The firefly is brilliant and works extremely well with the Lumos app. Ive changed the light settings to how I want them to flash.
The light when fitted to the helmet is snug and secure and is easily bright enough.
The charger is type C so this is great as my phone is also type C.
I think this is a game changer and I'm thinking about saving up so that I can buy the two rear lights and use them as indicators. Very good value, great quality, seriously impressed.

Lumos makes an excellent helmet with outstanding safety features, a comfortable fit and state-of-the-art directional/visibility lighting. We are about a 1000 miles in with Lumos and have zero complaints. For the most part, the operation of the helmet and lights is pretty intuitive; however, a thorough reading of the users guide will certainly help the owner to optimize the performance of this great product.

Helmet does not work. Will not power on properly. Lights just blink. Will not pair, firmware will not upload. Customer service is non existing. No phone number available. Support email says they are closed for the winter holidays and it's Jan 27.

Good that it works straight from the box. BUT
1 Guarantee registration is clumsy, Serial no hard to read, eg

2. Visor fouls my spectacles

3 ventilation blocked if visor is raised
4 straps only JUST long enough

Shipping took waaaaay to long and the firmware update was a pain.
I'm hoping the experience of using it is a better journey than what I've endured thus far.

Réception de deux casques très bien emballés. De plus, le carton de conditionnement permet de ranger aisément et proprement le casque.
Je découvre en essayant mon casque qu’il est un peu large ( mon périmètre crânien est à la limite entre un M et un S ). Le S n’est plus disponible dans la couleur choisie. Je mets un message signalant mon problème … et je reçois quelques temps après dans ma boîte des mousses réductrices pour mon casque qui est désormais parfait !
Un produit parfait, très bien pensé, et un service commercial au top.
Le produit est cher, mais pas des plus chers, et franchement la sécurité induite tant par la forme du casque que par la conception des clignotants est incontestable.
Et le produit est vraiment beau 🤩: pour un casque de vélo qui souvent donne un air de martien pas dégrossi, cela mérite d’être souligné.

The turn signal won’t hook up with the Apple Watch App. I bought 2 helmets costing over $400 and one Apple Watch App first had a problem with no “compass”…and once I fixed that it just keeps throwing a ERROR CODE….”make sure your app is on blah-blah-blah” . Everything IS on and connected but I can’t get what I paid for. The other Apple Watch simply counts down 3-2-1-0 and then the option to “stop” with a thin red line above it…WTF???? $400? Help me get these working and an excellent review on Amazon and Facebook are yours, otherwise I cannot honestly recommend your product to anyone else. Also, why did I have to learn how to create a PDF so that I could Register my Warranty…so very inconvenient.
UPDATE: I read your response, below, and it is now 5 days later and I have not heard from your company and I still have the same problems I had 5 days ago. If it is so easy to repair then please contact me by e-mail (find that in my warranty registration).

I feel so much safer wearing this helmet with the flashing lights where drivers can see them. This helmet does much more than protect in a crash: it actively prevents accidents by making me seen. At intersections, I often get the go ahead nod from drivers now that I am so much more noticeable with the lit up helmet.

More recently, I had an issue with the on/off switch and contacted customer service. Kavin was amazing with his troubleshooting and managed to get a replacement helmet for me. Thank you Lumos and especially Kavin for amazing work and such a wonderful helmet.

Es ist der 2. Helm den ich bekomme und auch dieser ist nicht ganz O. K. Der 1. Koppelte sich nicht mt dem Handy. Dieser hat kein Ladekontrolllampe (ich weis also nicht wann ist der Akku voll). Die Lichtempfindlichkeit lassen sich nich verändern.

Keine Kaufempfehlung. Ich habe vor nicht mal einem Jahr, auf Fahrrad.de, einen Lumos Ultra, mit Blinkfunktion gekauft. Da mein Arbeitsweg durch die Stadt führt war das für mich tatsächlich der Hauptgrund für den Kauf, die Blinkfunktion. So hat man beim Anfahren beide Hände am Lenker und zeigt deutlich wo man hinbiegen möchte. Nun ja, es war ein Reinfall. Der Helm kostet weit über 100 Euro und leider hat die Blinkfunktion gerade Mal zwei Fahrten mit gemacht. Sehr deutlich wird des jetzt in der kalten Jahreszeit. Das Bedienelement am Lenker verliert nach einer Weile, teilweise sogar bei einer längeren Fahrt, die Verbindung zum Helm. Die Blinkfunktion ist damit nicht vorhanden. Zuerst dachte ich an ein Bedienfehler oder Batterie, aber sogar mit einer nagelneuen Batterie hat es keine Verbindung aufgebaut und wenn dann nur kurz. Dass das Problem am Helm liegt wurde mir bei der Aktivierung der Lumos App bewusst. Ich habe mühselig mit dem Helm, nach der Anweisung, verbinden wollen. Wenn es mal geklappt hat, dann bestand die Verbindung auch nur kurz und dann war der Helm wieder offline obwohl der Akku bei 100% stand. Für mich ist es sehr enttäuschend weil ohne die Blinkfunktion ist es ein Helm wie viele andere auch, die teilweise günstiger sind (viel günstiger). Ich habe auch in vielen Foren gelesen, dass das Problem auch bei anderen besteht. Für mich ein klarer Fall von "eine gute Idee, schlecht ausgeführt".

Ease of use. Very intuitive and exceptional design!

The helmet is well designed overall but the visor seems to be made out of cheap plastic and has optical flaws. It is effective in deflecting the wind, but there’s lots of glare at night from car headlights and streetlights. The optical distortion is even worse in the dark. I hope Lumos develops a better visor for this otherwise excellent helmet.

I upgraded because of the front visor and front turn indicators. The face shield is great. No need for prescription sport glasses

Unable due to file size to finish warranty registration of the Amazon Receipt. 2mb is insufficient for size allowance. KISS. "KEEP IN SIMPLE STUPID". Engineers i hate them.

The helmet is nice, but the remote dies not work..

I like the looks and feel of the helmet (it's my 3rd lumos helmet) but I am disappointed that the matrix is no longer being offered. I loved it! Let's see if I will like this one as much of the matrix. I'll miss the colorful LCD display a LOT.
