We had a complete new kitchen
We had a complete new kitchen. From design (Sarah Powel) to fitting, Wicks’s fitters (Loxley Services) was excellent. Very pleased with the service and end results.

We had a new kitchen installed by Loxley Services in Northampton in November 2024 and the experience was genuinely faultless from start to finish.

The job was a bit more than a simple swap of the old kitchen: they ripped out the old kitchen, reconfigured the layout, carried out plumbing adjustments, patched up some plastering and handled electrics including a new fuse box and lighting. They also managed two external specialist companies for our flooring and quartz worktop, which took a lot of stress away from us in terms of coordinating multiple trades.

Ellis managed the overall project and Connor and Jordan carried out the installation. All three were punctual, tidy, approachable and excellent communicators throughout. They were very solution-focused and suggested a number of improvements along the way — especially around the lighting — that we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves and that really improved the finished kitchen.

The schedule they provided upfront was spot-on: the main work took around two weeks, with the quartz worktop fitted by a specialist company taking an additional week, exactly as planned.

We also live in a Victorian house with uneven walls, and the quality of finish is superb. They were able to cut and fit the units around the quirks of the property so that everything looks perfectly aligned.

Two moments that really stood out:
- They came back on a Sunday evening (when we were away for the weekend) to make sure taps and electric sockets had been removed, so the worktop company could start promptly on the Monday morning.
- Over a year later (December 2025) we had an issue with the dimmer lights, and they came back out just before Christmas, at no extra cost, to resolve it.

Pricing was also a big reason we chose Loxley Services in the first place: they were excellent value and completely transparent, with a fully itemised breakdown for each element of the work, meaning there were no surprise costs.

Our kitchen units were from Wren, who were also very good (despite the negative reviews you sometimes see online). Everything was delivered on time, and when there were a couple of very minor issues (small scratches on two units — one of which we hadn’t even noticed until Connor pointed it out), Wren replaced them quickly and without question.

Overall, we’re absolutely delighted with the result - the kitchen still looks great over a year on - and would highly recommend Loxley Services to anyone.

Having finalised our kitchen buying process through Wren, a friend suggested getting a quote from Loxley for installation and it was the best decision we made.
Ellis was very thorough and detailed with what the costs would be and gave us a handy timeline before the work started so we knew what to expect.
I can’t fault the installation process at all. We were consulted every step of the way and were given recommendations along the way. They gave us the personal touch we needed. Jordan, Connor and Lyon turned up on time and left every evening having cleaned everything away. When extra works were requested during the process, they were carried out with no fuss.
We had extensive works including electrics, gas and underfloor heating and all trades people that came into our home during the installation, all organised by Ellis, were so friendly and tidy.
We love our new kitchen and it has been installed to a very high standard. The team at Loxley have transferred this space so it perfectly suits us. I would highly recommend their work and would use them again in a heartbeat.

We recently moved into a new build and wanted to install some extra wall units in the kitchen. I ordered the units from the original supplier, and then Connor from Loxley fit them. The whole process was smooth and easy. Elis and Connor visited to assess the job before providing a quote, and they were able to squeeze in this job with only 2 weeks notice. Connor was punctual, did a great job putting up the cabinets and left the kitchen tidy again. Really nice guys, can’t recommend them enough.

I honestly can’t think of anything negative to say. Your company has been a pleasure to work with, everything went so smoothly. Your fitters really go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. You organised every trade we needed and gave advice on fittings and even the kitchen suppliers. We love our kitchen 😊

From start to finish an excellent service which we would highly recommend to any one considering a kitchen renovation.
Ellis is super efficient, coming back to us within an hour of our initial contact, sending information and suggestions before the initial visit and quote.
From start to finish of the project Ellis kept us fully informed with a daily breakdown of work and visiting contractors. Connor who carried out the work arrived promptly every day and stayed until all the work was carried out to a very high standard, and always left the site clean and tidy.

We recently had our new Wren kitchen fitted by Loxley and we are thrilled with the results and the service received throughout the process. Ellis was fantastic during the quoting and planning process and finalising things at the end. The whole team were so friendly, professional and approachable throughout answering my many questions along the way! They make a wonderful team and pride themselves on doing a great job, not settling for anything less than what they would be happy with in their own home. Connor and Jordan did a fantastic job throughout install and also helped with skirting throughout our downstairs and the attention to detail and quality was lovely to see. The service and result are second to none and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

I am so delighted with my updated kitchen, it is a pleasure to work in now. An acquaintance recommended them to me because she was so pleased with her new kitchen- she was right. They listened to what I wanted, were really helpful in making sure my plans would work (even to discussing alternatives to the finish and mm measurement of a worktop edge plus my wish to have mirror tiles along one wall. Trully, one of the most professional team I have seen in a while.
This guys are really knowledgeable, polite, tidy and most importantly trustworthy. I have given them the key and they just got on with the work, even on a Sunday to try to accommodate and finishing the job in time.
They have all the tools and the knowledge.

Really can't rate Ellis, Connor and Jordan highly enough. From first contact through to final completion, every aspect of the job exceeded expectations and the quality of workmanship along with the constant willingness to go the extra mile on EVERY aspect made the whole experience extremely positive. Such excellent value too. I just wish we had another kitchen that needed fitting. Don't hesitate to book, easily the best tradespeople we have had on site in 15 years of home improvements - if only we'd booked Loxley for our first kitchen!!

We recently had our Wren kitchen installed by Loxley, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional and showed real attention to detail.

The process started with a call from Ellis to arrange an initial survey at the property. They provided us with an itemised quote following this which was very useful and allowed us to discuss some of the works required and prices in more detail.

The works that Loxley completed for us included:

- Removal of the old kitchen (including floor, tiles, flooring, appliances)
- Support finding a suitable electrician
- Plastering (sub contracted)
- Install of all units and appliances
- Gas and plumbing connections (sub contracted)
- Tiling (sub contracted)

All the subcontracted works were planned and scheduled by the Loxley team which really helped the project flow as smoothly as possible. These works were to a high standard and charged at a fair and competitive price.

They listened to our preferences, offering valuable insights and suggestions along the way. Communication was smooth, with prompt responses to any questions or concerns we had. The installation itself was efficient and well-coordinated, and the final outcome exceeded our expectations. The team always left the house in a clean and tidy manner at the end of each day, and minimised disruption where possible.

The Loxley install team of Connor, Jordan and Ellis were a pleasure to have in the house and went above and beyond the agreed scope of their works on multiple occasions. Some examples of this include:

- Efficiently removing and storing the old kitchen so it was possible for future use as we requested
- Utilising panel cut offs to box in and tidy up piping to ensure a clean finish
- Replacing and tidying up washing machine pipe work
- Finding a matching trim for the tiling to match the kitchen colour scheme at no extra cost
- Full deep clean and tidy following kitchen completion
- Working Saturday and Sunday to ensure the kitchen was completed as soon as possible

Loxley were kind enough to give us a small gift bag at the end of our install to celebrate our new kitchen, which was a lovely added touch demonstrating how much the team care about their work and their customers.

From the beginning everything was a breeze. I got a call from Ellis minutes after I sent them a message, and they came to size the job (installing an extractor fan outlet) that same morning.

On the job day Connor & Jordan did a brilliant job (really quick too), and throughout all the process Ellis was always very quick to come back to us with any questions we had, always in a very polite and professional manner.

All in all one of the best experiences we've had with a trader, we will for sure recommend them to friends and family.

We had Loxley fit our new Magnet kitchen and were very impressed by their friendliness, professionalism, high quality of work, and willingness to go the extra step to provide us with a dream kitchen. They undertook a few other little jobs for us and came back to adjust a breakfast bar and to refit a worktop that had been damaged on delivery. From initial quote and advice to finished kitchen we have been very pleased with their work and how they go about it.

After quoting nearly half of what week wanted to fit their kitchen these guys did a fantastic job. Even coming back to finish of a few things hindered by other trades taking their time. Can’t fault them. Would recommend them to everyone
