We cannot thank Love Underdogs enough for the chance to adopt our wonderful rescue Ruby.
Our experience with the charity was amazing. The staff were friendly, helpful, considerate and very helpful with the welfare of their dogs at the top of their list.
We have all fallen in love with Ruby and look forward to many happy years with her to come.

They say an organisation is only as good as the people who work there. And that's the reason why Love Underdogs is so wonderful; its employees are all wonderful.
Each one is caring and professional and diligent, making what could be a very stressful process go so smoothly.
A special shout out (bark out?) to Jodie who gave me such dedicated support from start to finish. A total star!

Wow is easy to say but doesn’t really cover it .. I contacted the charity to potentially adopt , they responded with in a day , it was clear from the start it was all about what was best for the dog not me nor them . they explained every issue with the dog with no sugar coating so I knew exactly what I was getting into , they where so warm and welcoming there was no pressure, they explained there ethos of the charity and how they train with only positive behaviour rewards , they explained about the life time of support and how they will always be there to help . Even if personal circumstances years down the line change and I could no longer care for the dog they would Happily take them back , I was truly moved by the genuine kindness and honesty of the staff , if you have time patience and love these dogs really need a second chance if you can’t then donate . So impressed…

Where do I start! Amazing is not a strong enough word, we rescued a lovely little dog who is our best friend he totally mended our broken hearts after loosing our family dog earlier in the year.
Love under dogs were amazing and really go the extra mile to ensure the rescue process is perfect for everyone.
So much communication and check ins to make you feel supported through the whole process.
Don’t honestly think twice about rehoming and giving your heart to a dog through Love Underdogs 🐾🐾🐾❤️

We approached Love Underdogs a few weeks ago with a beautiful Romanian dog now named Ralphie , who was trapped in the uk after only spending 3hrs dropped in a garden by transporters , new owners quickly decided they didn’t want a dog that came broken , but Love Underdogs stepped up and the time patience and love they have shown him speaks volumes , we get regular updates and videos on his progress

We adopted 2 brothers from Love Underdogs back in 2013, we still have them but they are old men now, we have a message every year asking how they are doing and saying if ever we need help with anything we know where they are. They really do care about their dogs and ask for a picture each year if we wouldn't mind sending one.

We recently rescued our little frenchie girl from Love Underdogs.
From my initial enquiry to the completion of the adoption, the team at Love Underdog’s were absolutely amazing.
They know and care for each little dog so well and do everything they can to ensure that all dogs go to the best home. I was so impressed with how thorough they are when ensuring that homes are suitable.
They are passionate, knowledgeable and supportive. We are so glad that we found our little girl at Love Underdog’s!

I adopted Benny from Love Underdogs in May.
A wonderful and stress free experience from the very beginning. They have provided all the support and information needed and much more.
Benny is a wonderful little dog who loves everyone he meets whether they have 2 or 4 legs.

We adopted our rescue dog, Sadie, from Love Under Dogs in February 2025, and from the very beginning, Jodie and the team provided incredible support and guidance. They were always there to assist us, ensuring we had everything we needed to help Sadie settle into our family.

What truly stood out was their genuine commitment to finding the perfect match—not just for us, but for Sadie too. There was never any pressure, only a sincere desire to make sure she had the right home and that we had the right dog for our family. Their thoughtful approach made the adoption process smooth and reassuring, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

These guys really care and I can’t thank them enough. We adopted a rescue for the first time through LU and Jodie was so helpful and supportive anytime we had questions or needed advice.
The process is carefully thought out and you don’t feel like you’re on your own at any point. You will want to take them all home though :(

We adopted our two gorgeous little Romanian street dogs from Love Underdogs Jaffa and Terry back in February 2025. The help we have received from Love Underdogs has been amazing. They have constantly been supportive with regards to questions etc. The after care has been second to none. It’s very clear they love all the dogs in their rescue. We absolutely adore our little boys and we are even thinking of adding another one from Love Underdogs to are family. This is the only rescue I would go back too now! After losing our Lola, our little Duchess was feeling a lonely and the house felt empty, so we reached out. We did accidentally end up rehomeing two amazing dogs, and this is our family of little dog complete- until we would like another. We found Love Underdogs to be very professional, caring and understanding and with their guidance place us with 2 amazing dogs who are loving life.

We got introduced to Luna through LoveUnderdogs nearly 3 months ago now! Time has flown! But I'm so grateful for the team at LU.

It was my first-time experience with a rescue and they immediately make you feel welcome. They arrange visits and are super accommodating and helpful. Once we got matched with Luna, and had about 3 sessions over a period of a month - we adopted her, but their care and help didnt end there. They continued to support us through tough times but even with simple worries as first-time rescue owners!

We sadly lost our boy in January 2025. We adopted from Love Underdogs in November 2013. They contacted us every gotcha day for his whole life and stayed in touch during the early settling in period. Their offer of life long back up is genuine. They don't just promise it, they deliver. Can't recommend this organisation enough.

I adopted my then puppy in 2014! The staff were very helpful and welcoming and any questions were swiftly answered via email.

McNally’s adoption was handled smoothly, I still even have her adoption certificate and passport to this day.

McNally was a very scared puppy, as to be expected after coming from Romania but Love Underdogs were always on hand for advice and even sent us out a behaviourist to help combat a few of her ‘street dog’ like ways. Fast forward to today and my now 11 year old dog is very well behaved. Her fear is now almost all gone and we’re able to enjoy family holidays together with no issues.

There is also a group on Facebook dedicated to the adopters of Love Underdogs dogs, which from experience, doesn’t happen with every rescue. Adopters can share their experiences and offer help and advice to each other, as well as seeing beautiful happy dogs in their homes!

McNally was a challenging puppy but working with her over the years has created an unbreakable bond. Every breakthrough made everything 100% worth it.
That day in 2014, I adopted my best friend and I’m forever grateful to Love Underdogs for that.

Joey is the fourth dog which I have adopted from Love Underdogs in the last 12 years. As usual the whole process has been seamless and reassuring. My other dogs are now very elderly so having a youngster around has been wonderful for us all.

We lost our other dog January this year, she passed at age 15.
We started looking to adopt a new dog and we where lucky to find Love underdogs.
They supported us during all the adoption process and took great care to make sure that was a good match. We visit Amy multiple times, and where able to stay with her alone in nice playing field for a long time - to get to know her and make her comfortable with us.
They where always very upfront and honest about the personality of the dog - not only the good bits, but also any potential challenges - and supported us quickly when needed.
They genuinely care about the animals, and continue following up with us to make sure that Amy is happy.

I’m an American moved here by wife and this Charity was my first contact with animal care of any sort in this Country. In the States if they’re in a shelter more times than not that’s where their journey among humans end. If that sounds morbid, I assure you it was meant to.
Recently I wanted a doggo to fill a void and I happened, really lucked on Love Under Dogs! I was amazed at the patience, care, respect and knowledge they showed towards their charges, Oh and to me too.
I could go on singing their praises for pages but this is a review and not my own personal research to find the right fit for us and our potential addition to our family; suffice it to say they exceeded all my expectations and a couple I didn’t know about!
My new adopted boy, Bodhi, is such a joy in our lives, giving love and comfort with his big brown eyes. He’s a Romanian rescue and the care and soft training these doggos need is tricky. Some of these doggos have never known any type of security or safety, let alone having to defend themselves whilst searching for food. The love Underdogs gives is a model for all other Carers and I sincerely recommend them at the highest possible rating.

Super friendly & understanding staff. I feel they really put in a lot of effort with my dog & the staff took extra care in ensuring we were best suited to each other & that my dog was going to his perfect home. I would definitely recommend love underdogs as a rescue centre as they are definitely trustworthy & really put the dogs needs before anyone else’s; a true understanding of what each individual dog requires when it comes to rehoming & adoption. They also ensured my dog was healthy before coming to his forever home which included a small operation all cost covered which was a huge help regarding insurance & pre existing conditions etc. A particular member of staff, Jason; worked closely with my dog & really helped me understand his needs due to his previous trauma & built up a bond before bringing him home.. for that I can’t thank Jason, & the rest of the team who made this happen, enough!

I would highly recommend Love Underdogs to anyone thinking of adopting.
They take great care in matching their dogs to potential carers, with lots of advice and recommendations.
