Bad customer service

I ordered an expensive full-face helmet in mid-January. While the helmet itself was structurally fine, the design on the front was a bit damaged. For a product at this price point, that was of course disappointing.

Because I try to avoid unnecessary returns for environmental reasons, I contacted customer service directly to ask if a discount would be possible, including photos of the defect. Unfortunately, communication was very slow. I had to follow up multiple times before getting any response.
On February 25, I finally received a reply saying they would get back to me. After another reminder on March 11, I was asked to provide a video in addition to the photos. I sent this the same day, although by then my patience was already wearing thin.
On March 16, I received a message stating: "The supplier’s warranty department has accepted your warranty claim and agreed to inspect the item.
If they detect a manufacturing problem or defect, the item will be repaired. Otherwise, the repair cost will have to be borne by you."

At this point, I decided to stop emailing them, as it no longer seemed worthwhile. Based on this experience, I will not be ordering from this webshop again.

Overall, the handling of this issue has been slow and frustrating, especially considering the price of the product. I expected a much smoother and more customer-friendly experience.

We would like to clarify that for any products received with visible damage or defects, our policy requires customers to contact us within 48 hours of delivery. As your request was submitted after this timeframe, your case was handled through a standard warranty procedure rather than as a transport damage claim.

In such cases, the supplier requires the product to be returned for inspection to determine whether the issue is due to a manufacturing defect. As communicated, if a defect is confirmed, the item will be repaired under warranty. If not, any related costs, including shipping, remain the responsibility of the customer. This process is necessary, as there are situations where damage may occur after delivery.

Regarding communication, we have responded to your inquiries and guided you through the required steps, including requesting additional documentation (photos and video) needed by the supplier to proceed with the claim.

We therefore consider that the case has been handled in accordance with our procedures.

Avoid! €3,000 bike lost – LordGun refuses to take responsibility

I ordered a bicycle worth €3,000, but the experience has been a nightmare. LordGun shipped the package in violation of the courier's (DPD) terms and conditions, which led to the bike never being delivered.

Even though I have provided LordGun with the direct contact information for the local DPD partner who currently has the package, they refuse to contact them to resolve the issue. Worst of all, they are refusing to refund my money for an item I never received.

Extremely poor customer service and a total lack of accountability for a high-value order. Stay away!

We’re sorry to hear about the frustration regarding this order and the delivery delay.

To clarify, the bicycle was shipped in accordance with the courier’s procedures. Couriers such as DPD collect parcels only if they meet their size and shipping requirements, and the shipment was accepted and processed normally at the time of dispatch.

According to the latest tracking update provided by the courier, the parcel is currently being held at their facility and is marked as in the process of being returned to the sender, although the specific reason has not yet been indicated to us. We have already contacted the courier to request clarification and updates.

Please note that while we always assist our customers in communicating with the courier, the handling and routing of parcels once they are in the courier’s network are unfortunately outside of our direct control.

As soon as the parcel is returned to our warehouse, we will immediately proceed according to the customer’s preference (refund or reshipment). Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund while the parcel is still in transit within the courier’s network.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Paid €2,526 for a bike. Never received. Now taking legal action.

Order placed on January 20, 2026. Order number: 26.340.293.829. Total paid: €2,776.03 – by bank transfer (prepayment / Vorkasse). The main item – a Merida One Sixty 700 III2 mountain bike (€2,526.31) – has never arrived. The small accessories were delivered. The bike: never.

Timeline of events:

Jan 20: Ordered and paid in full via bank transfer.
Jan 29: LordGun sends shipping confirmation with DPD tracking number. Tracking link never worked.
Feb 3: Only accessories arrive. No bike.
Feb 4–6: I contact LordGun multiple times by phone and email. Answer: "investigation with courier is ongoing."
Feb 12: Written statement from LordGun: refund only possible once courier officially confirms loss. No timeline given. I send a formal payment demand (Mahnschreiben) with 14-day deadline.
Feb 16: Another email from LordGun: "investigations still ongoing, please let us know if the bike arrives."
Feb 24: LordGun calls me – a staff member (Ms. Müller) verbally promises the refund will happen "probably tomorrow." I immediately send my bank details. Nothing arrives.
Feb 26 (today): Still no money. Still no bike. 37 days after the order, and 14 days after my formal demand.
Today I formally declared withdrawal from the purchase contract (§§ 323, 346 BGB – German consumer law applies per Art. 6 Rome I Regulation). I have set a final deadline of March 5, 2026. If no payment is received by then, I will file for a court order (Mahnverfahren) without further warning.

My advice to other buyers:

Do NOT pay by bank transfer / prepayment. If something goes wrong, you have no chargeback option. I have spent weeks on phone calls, writing formal letters, and preparing legal documents – for a bike I paid for nearly six weeks ago and have never seen.

Reading other reviews here, this pattern (lost delivery, weeks of delay, vague promises) is clearly not an isolated incident. The 4.5-star average on this profile does not reflect what happens when things go wrong.

I will update this review once the legal proceedings are concluded.

vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback.
Sie haben am 20.01.26 eine Bestellung aufgegeben, welche aufgrund von Montage etc. am 29.01.2026 um 18.00 versandt wurde.
Dem Kurier wurden zwei Pakete übergeben damit das Fahrrad nicht durch die anderen bestellten Artikel während des Transports beschädigt wird.

Am 03.02.26 erhielten Sie laut Tracking, das erste Paket.
Sie informierten uns am Folgetag, dem 04.02.26 darüber, dass das Paket mit dem Fahrrad noch nicht eingetroffen sei.
Daraufhin wurde nach einigen Prüfungen am 05.02.26 die Nachforschung mit dem Kurier für Sie eingeleitet.

Das Tracking für das Fahrrad lag aufgrund eines technischen Fehlers beim Scannen der Pakete durch den Kurier, nicht in deren System vor.
Die Nachforschungen auf Seite des Kuriers benötigen für alle Problemfälle in der Regel mindestens zwei Wochen.

Eine Rückerstattung war während der Nachforschung nicht möglich, da der Kurier das Paket noch hätte zustellen können.
Ihnen wurde mehrfach bei Ihren Anrufen, sowie Ihren Emails bestätigt, dass eine Rückerstattung nach der Verlustbestätigung durch den Kurier erfolgen wird.
Daher lag für Sie kein Risiko zu Ihrer Zahlung vor.
Auf die Zeit, die der Kurier für die Nachforschung benötigt, haben wir leider keinen Einfluss da dies Prozesse auf der Kurierseite sind.

Eine Rückerstattung wurde Ihnen bereits am 24.02.26 angeboten, zusammen mit einer kleinen Geste, als Entschuldigung für das durch den Kurier entstandene Problem.
Da Sie uns die Bankdaten gegen 16:00 geschickt haben und wir bis 18:00 geöffnet haben, wurde dies gestern Morgen, am 25.02.26 an unsere Buchhaltung weitergeleitet.
Wir weisen Sie erneut darauf hin, dass internationale Überweisungen einige Werktage benötigen, bis diese auf Ihrem Konto einsehbar sind.

Ihr Fall wurde somit am 05.02.26 beim Kurier eingeleitet und bereits am 24.02.26 durch uns, mit Angebot der Rückerstattung, gelöst.
Wir verstehen Ihren Unmut, das Fahrrad nicht erhalten zu haben, jedoch standen wir stetig für Rückfragen für Sie bereit und haben mehrfach versichert, dass für Sie kein Risiko zur Zahlung besteht. Wir lehnen daher Ihr Feedback zu "Vorkasse-Betrug" stark ab.

Customer service incompetent and dishonest

Customer service is extremely poor. Damaged items are being shipped. And when you provide proof with an unpacking video clearly showing the damage, they deny it and bluntly claim nothing is wrong. This doesn't even begin to resolve the issue. I'm also officially filing a complaint with Klarna, the company I used to pay. I've never experienced such poor customer service. You've been warned. I ordered tools for almost €500. They'll 100% certainly post a fake response on Trustpilot here too on this issue. Don't beleave them. I'm glad I paid with Klarna, at least you have customer protection. Paypal has that too.

Ultimately, I reluctantly agreed to a €20 refund on a payment of almost €500, which is very little compensation for damaged used items with broken original boxes.
The review is more because customer service didn't take me seriously and certainly ignored the evidence from my videos, from the start, Lordgun only changed tack after I officially reported it to Klarna.
Because of this experience I will never buy anything here again, far too much risk and headache afterwards due to Lordgun's treatment

After carefully reviewing the unpacking videos you provided, we did not find evidence of damage to the shipped products themselves. The tools were confirmed to be fully functional. As these are maintenance tools, slight surface finishing variations on the metal are normal and do not indicate prior use or defects.
That said, we take every customer concern seriously. For this reason, we offered to arrange collection of the goods for a full refund. You instead requested to keep the items in exchange for a partial refund, which we agreed to as a gesture of goodwill. The €20 refund was issued only after your explicit acceptance of this resolution.
