I contacted Shas at Lomond when we needed to make arrangements to leave the rented property. He was polite and efficient and responded by email the same day with all that I needed to make the admin of the move straight forward. He also remained the single point of contact and that made things so much easier. Excellent customer service.
Genuinely awful
We have rented with Lomond for over a year and a half and it has consistently been absolutely miserable.
We live in a David Wilson Homes new build flat and everything is constantly breaking and we’ve given up on Lomond taking any sort of timely action in response. No one replies to emails and maintenance tickets are left open for months at a time.
For example, a window mechanism broke and the window was stuck wide open, we reported it in Feb/March and it was still open in mid December. It got to the point that I was begging them daily, frost on the ground, to fix it and eventually they did. We’ve had maintenance tickets open for over a year but property managers come and go every few months, their reporting system is fundamentally broken and they don’t care enough to fix anything.
It’s a really nice flat in a decent area but we’re paying so much money for it and it’s exhausting having to chase these people over and over again and remind them of their duty to keep their properties safe and liveable. Never once have they shown any empathy, made admission of their incompetence or apologised for it.
I genuinely regret ever moving into a Lomond property and I can’t wait to move out as soon as my contract is up.

This is actually the first time I’ve ever felt the need to leave a review, and honestly I didn’t expect it to be this negative.
The experience with this agency has been incredibly frustrating from start to finish. Applicants are encouraged to proceed and pay a holding deposit after being upfront about their situation, only for those same details to suddenly become a problem during referencing. It feels very misleading.
Communication is poor — emails go unanswered, and when you do get through, there’s no clear update or urgency, even when people are on tight timelines.
One of the colleagues, Ben, came across as quite dismissive on the phone, almost as if he was struggling to understand the situation that had already been explained multiple times. The tone of the conversation felt unhelpful and frustrating rather than supportive.
Overall, the process lacks transparency, consistency, and basic consideration for applicants. This has been a stressful and disappointing experience that could have easily been avoided with clearer communication from the start.
Would not recommend.

I usually expect to make multiple calls when trying to reach the property manager, so I was a bit surprised this morning when I found the contact number had changed. However, when I called the new number, I was quickly connected with George. He was very helpful, friendly, and resolved my query within a minute. A really smooth and pleasant experience.
Horrendous
Horrendous. We have been landlords for 25 years and have a number of properties and have never experienced such terrible service from any of our agents. LIM bought out our previous agent, Sandstone and the issues started immediately. Tenant requests being ignored, LIM paying us our rent receipts late and without statements and then money just not being paid across. At the worst point we were owed thousands for many months and as there is no phone number and only a central email we had to threaten legal action before they finally paid what we were owed. We have now moved our properties to new agents and are getting the service you would expect. Truly terrible. I would question the veracity of the positive reviews of this company.

Efficient Timely Support fot Tenants
The telephone support has improved. I have dealt wirh Parham Hashemi in relation to a couple of issues recently she has been very efficient in managing the issues and maintaining timely email contact. This method of contact has improved too.

I honestly can’t thank Lisa at Lomond enough for everything she’s done to help us secure our new home.
We were under a lot of pressure with our current landlord selling and a tight timeline to move, so it was quite a stressful situation, especially with my partner being pregnant. From the very start, Lisa was incredibly responsive, approachable, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process.
We had a few complications along the way with referencing and paperwork, but she handled everything professionally and kept things moving, always coming back to us quickly and keeping us in the loop. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, which made a massive difference given the circumstances.
Thanks to her support, we’ve been able to get everything sorted and move forward with confidence, which has taken a huge weight off our shoulders.
