They were kind and extremely helpful. The service was best, and the chocolate raspberry cake was perfect and yummy. Edible image, beautiful candles , safe delivery and they even gave you an option of a note. I wish they can have more cards options not specifically a birthday card. And if there will be an option of fresh flowers as well it's gonna be perfect.

I ordered a cake and cupcakes and when I got to the party place I got a call that Lola’s forgot to give me the cupcakes
Their mistake but I had to get someone to go and get them
When you’ve paid over £100 for a cake and cupcakes I’d expect better

It was a delightful and delicious cake
It was a delightful and delicious cake. The design was flawless and beautiful. The flavour was outstanding, sweet but not too sweet, the sponge was soft and fluffy.
Collect was very quick and easy.

Hello Courtney,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback.
I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your cake.
I can assure you that all of our cakes are freshly baked and prepared for the date of collection.
We do advise to store our cakes in the fridge and to leave them at room temperature for at least 2-3 hours before serving. If they are served straight from the fridge this can affect the taste and texture.
I will be sure to pass your feedback across to our bakery team for review.
If you do wish to discuss this further, please feel free to email us on hello@lolascupcakes.com
Best wishes,
Chloe
I’m really disappointed with the…
I’m really disappointed with the cupcakes we ordered for a birthday party. Unfortunately, they fell short in several ways.
First, the presentation was poor – nothing like the polished photos shown online. Some cupcakes had toppled over in the box, and the decorations looked rushed and uneven.
The cupcakes themselves were also far too small for the price, which made them feel more like miniatures than proper servings. On top of that, there was barely any cream or frosting, which made them dry and unappealing. The cake was also dry, and the little frosting that was there tasted overly sweet and grainy. Several guests left theirs unfinished, which was really disappointing.
We had high hopes and wanted these to be a fun highlight of the celebration, but sadly they were a letdown. I wouldn’t feel confident ordering from here again, especially for an important event.

Too sweet, too dry. Disappointing. I order this cake for my birthday. Look silly in front of family and friends.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I am very sorry you did not feel the cake was as per your expectations.
I can assure you that all orders are baked and prepared fresh for the date of delivery/collection.
I can see that you ordered the Tutti Frutti Loaded Cake. This cake is decorated with buttercream icing which is the sweetest type of icing we offer and can be too sweet for some based on personal preference. The filling of the cake however is a blueberry cream cheese icing.
I will be in touch with you via email shortly to discuss the matter further.
Kind regards,
GF Birthday on Holiday
I needed a GF birthday cake while on holiday, and everything was excellent. It was very convenient to retrieve the cake and the cake was well refrigerated upon retrieval. The taste was great and the cream cheese frosting was perfect!

Gender reveal cake
First of all, the visual appearance of the cake we had made for the gender reveal party was good. However, its content was completely inedible. The cake was extremely sweet and no one could eat it, it was just made of sugar. Apart from that, the cake we had made for a baby girl was supposed to be pink only on the inside, but it was also very pink on the outside. In these respects, we would like to state that the cake, which was positive in terms of delivery and price, was not eaten by anyone.

Hello Elif,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us regarding your purchase of our Gender Reveal cake.
We are sorry to hear that you found this cake to be too sweet.
This cake does use our buttercream, which is our sweetest icing and can be too sweet for some.
We would suggest you may enjoy our other cakes with cream cheese or mascarpone icings for a more balanced taste, but we understand this would not have been possible with this particular design.
We will be sure to log this feedback with the bakery and product development teams regarding your disappointment with this cake.
If you would like to discuss your order further with our team, please do get in touch with us directly at hello@lolascupcakes.com.
Kind regards,
Wesley
