In good faith, I paid over £59 up-front for a simple logo design on 27 August 19 . For the first few days, all went well. They would call and email me to discuss the brief. Then, I was asked to move the conversation to a web portal that I was unable to log into. When I emailed and called their UK number, I was told that someone would call me back at a certain hour. Although I waited in for the call, no one called. Eventually, I gave up and wrote off the money as a bad debt and a bad experience.
Today, over 6 months later, I received a call from someone in Logo Cottage saying that they were following up on my undelivered order. They gave an excuse that the person handling my order had left the company. They seemed very disappointed when I declined their offer to build me a website. However, the caller promised that they were going to restart my original order for a logo and would email later today. As a matter of interest, the caller had a USA-California number. Unusual for a supposedly UK company? A few hours later today, I received an email from a "Name Redacted" at logoroyale co uk saying that unfortunately, the file on my order was now closed but if I paid them £50, they could "start you (sic) project again".
I have emailed back "Mr. “Name Redacted" to decline his "offer" and to advise him that I will be seeing how best to report this operation to an appropriate UK authority. I have not heard back from him.
It is my opinion that this whole operation leaves many questions open. Are they Logo Cottage or Logo Royale? Are they based in the UK, USA or somewhere else??
Certainly, I will avoid them and never deal with them again.
Edit... I have just seen the reviews for "Logo Royale" (which seems to be the same operation as Logo Cottage) here on Trust Pilot. My suspicions are confirmed. I have also sent a copy of my emails from "Logo Cottage" as proof that I was a customer of "Logo Cottage" to Trust Pilot as "Logo Cottage" now claim in response to this review that they have no customer by my name.

I went to Logo cottage for a redesign of my Logo, my website and some postcards.They gave me a great quote for all three and I was happy to go ahead. Their live chat was really helpful if I had any questions etc and they sent me a link so that we could communicate throughout the process. After filling in a questionnaire regarding every element I required, they set to work. The design of both the website and my logo have exceeded all my expectations, they look amazing and have totally transformed the identity of my business - it now looks beautiful and reflects the vision of my company . They completely grasped what I was after and I am delighted with the outcome. They have made it much more user friendly and invites engagement and interaction from the user and hopefully will attract in more customers. I can't thank them enough - especially my account manager who understood every element I asked for and was also very patient and helpful when I explained I was a bit of a technophobe! The initial designs from my brief summary was very good and didn’t need much work to finalise. The process was a bit slower than the original 48 hours stated. Otherwise excellent choice of logos to go on with
