They will phone you and tell you that your entilted to x amount of dollars and then in order to collect your money they put you through a long process of zoom calls etc.. In the end in order to collect your money they want you to send them in advance 6 percent of the money that you will recieve. they are bad people

Will not let you withdrawal your money they keep telling you that you have not traded enough told me only had to trade $500 more to withdrawal so I did $750 they rejected withdrawal again saying had to do $10 more THEY ARE A SCAM

Is one of the best broker i have ever found. It allows to interface with Multicharts and trading is fantastic.
It is not like Fineco in Italy with spreads of 1 tick in Eur/usd and hide commissions but 0.1 tick . 10 time less then Fineco.
The sales manager Mehdi Maskine followed me during all the process of account opening and he has been always fast, kind and efficient. Many thank to him :-)

LMAX is a liquidity provider of a broker I was trading with.
This particular broker accepts crypto, so I deposited crypto. The strategy didn't go well, so I asked my broker to withdraw. This broker requested the funds from LMAX, but now LMAX is questioning wether the funds belog to me or not.
It is not the brokers fault, it is LMAX's fault.
I have all the proof that the funds belong to me, and I have also approached LMAX directly. I never got a reply from them, they are just simply withelding my funds, and me or the broker cannot do anything about it.
So if you are a broker, don't ever work with LMAX, otherwise, you and your customers will soon be in trouble.

This review could have been avoided if LMAX replies me and asks for proof of funds, but it has never happened, which led me to the conclusion that something sticks with LMAX.

LMAX are outright THIEVES.......... They will process your INCOMING BANK WIRE TRANSFER SUPERFAST so can start Trading within 2 hours and they START EARNING COMMISSIONS.

BUT...when you put in a REQUEST for WITHDRAWAL.... boy oh boy ...LMAX THIEVES WILL TAKE YOU FOR A SPIN....GAME OVER....You will BE STUCK FOR WEEKS and MONTHS....going back and forth with EMAILS. They will ASK YOU every STUPID QUESTION TO PROVE... if the FUNDS IN YOUR OWN ACCOUNT...really BELONG TO YOU that were wired from your OWN LOCAL BANK ACCOUNT. What a JOKE???

This is HOW they TRY to STEAL YOUR MONEY. I am sure they were successful with STEALING MONEY FROM OTHER INNOCENT TRADERS with their THREATENING EMAILS. BUT NOT ME....

When you REQUEST a normal WITHDRAWAL...or PROFIT WITHDRAWAL...their "IN-HOUSE COMPLIANCE LMAX EMPLOYEES"...who are SUPER DUPER THIEVES ...will ask EVERY PRIVATE CONFIDENTIAL BANK DOCUMENT from you, all the way to your HOUSE KEYS, to prove that the FUNDS in your OWN ACCOUNT really belong to you, in The NAME OF "MONEY LAUNDERING".... Yes you heard me right...That's the "WORD" they USE to STEAL MONEY, PRETENDING and ACTING LIKE THEY ARE THE U.K. GOVERNMENT.....

The MOMENT you start MAKING PROFITS...and REQUEST WITHDRAWAL..., SUDDENLY YOUR OWN MONEY is LOOKED upon as "MONEY LAUNDERING"....What a CLEVER WAY TO ROB MONEY from TRADERS.

They will find EVERY EXCUSE in their "TERMS AND CONDITIONS to STOP, FREEZE, BLOCK and ROB your FUNDS from your OWN ACCOUNT, to AVOID PAYING OUT your WITHDRAWAL REQUEST, till they FEEL SATISFIED that they RECEIVED ALL YOUR CONFIDENTIAL DOCUMENTS.
Who KNOWS... what they do or WHO THEY SELL ALL THESE CONFIDENTIAL DOCUMENTS that they RECEIVE? They are just NORMAL EMPLOYEES of a company.

This is called DAY LIGHT "WHITE COLLAR ROBBERY" which is done by HIDING BEHIND COMPUTER SCREENS, where you are VOLUNTARILY FORCED to GIVE CONFIDENTIAL DOCUMENTS so you can GET YOUR OWN FUNDS BACK from the CONNIVING THIEVES. There is NO DATA PROTECTION for the CLIENTS with LMAX.
The THIEVES at LMAX DON'T USE REAL NAMES DURING EMAILS. They USE "FICTITIOUS FIRST NAMES" with NO SURNAMES. Very CRAFTY.

The CEO of LMAX - David Mercer is simply BEYOND POMPOUS...and will SELL you the MOON with his SALES PITCH TACTICS. He will SELL YOU ON THE IDEA of how many BILLION DOLLAR trades PER DAY.....MOVE THROUGH THEIR EXCHANGE....WITH 0 (ZERO...) PROOF....NO TRANSPARENCY.... It makes him FEEL HE IS ON TOP OF THE WORLD. A LONELY LOST SOUL....

Few years ago David Mercer was going on and on and on.... saying how his SPECIAL "LMAX DISRUPTIVE MARKET TECHNOLOGY" is so UNIQUE. Truth be told, my trouser zipper didn't pop or break with his DISRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGY.

IF...BILLION DOLLAR TRADES ARE FLOWING PER DAY... through their EXCHANGE and if they ARE MAKING SO MUCH COMMISSION on it, then WHY ARE THEY TRYING TO STEAL MONEY from EVERY TRADERS ACCOUNT, EVERY TIME A TRADER PUTS IN A REQUEST FOR WITHDRAWAL by using the word "MONEY LAUNDERING"???

There is a saying " A THIEF IS ALWAYS WORRIED that ANOTHER THIEF IS GOING TO ROB THEM. So LMAX follows the policy - "ROB or BE ROBBED".

THINK about it and BEWARE of their CONNIVING TACTICS before opening Live account with these THIEVES.

They have great 'sales pitch'. Damon and Simon, if that is their real names, convinced and assured me that all was good and for me not to worry. They are just ordinary thieves, their families must be proud of how they steal from seniors, with cancer.

Very bad service , SWAP fees formula is huge pay extra attention to that , also the clients ONLY pay never get paid !
" if you hold a short position and the swap point is positive - you will receive the financing charge"
" if you hold a long position and swap is negative - you will pay the finacing" ( it's from their answer to me , after checking each asset you understand no matter what you ONLY pay them SWAP)

LMAX charged me 2114$ swap from an account around 12K $ balance for a few days only in Oil positions and I'm retail client ( low leverage) AMAZING!!!

I almost gave up , the experience was bad , withdrawal processing was not getting successful but after I reported to Finance Chargeback
it got resolved.

employees are not professional they never have the right answers to your questions when you ask them

I was having a few questions regarding the integration of their API with the application I was developing. I have spoken to 3 of their agents and none of them had the technical knowledge to assist me. I would suggest you provide training to your employees and improve your documention.

Lmax are by far the most professional company when it comes to forex . Best spreads and ok commission . Their is no fancy sexy looking platform , it’s all about execution . Withdrawals are the fastest in the industry.

Good honest broker, the only reason why I don't give them 5 stars is because of their meager leverage....1:100 is not realistic in toda's trading environment..... Please review this policy, and I'll be happy to give you 5 stars :))))

I've had no major issues with LMAX, all things that have come up we've been able to sort out in a reasonable amount of time, great customer service. Transfers and withdrawals, zero problems, they've been actually faster than what they state on their agreement.

They are not the cheapest, in fact I would say they are quite pricey...BUT, I've been with them for about a year now, and they haven't tried anything funny with my MT4 (EAs), messed with my transactions, attempted to change my MT4 history, mess with live trades, hunted stops, messed with the margin, or with my web trader for that matter. I literally comb my accounts (compare separate accounts with each other, etc.) for irregularities and I can say -from my experience- they are playing fair ball. You pay a bit more, but you get to sleep at night. A keeper on my book.

Would I recommend them? Yes.

What would I recommend LMAX? Offer us a better pricing structure; an option of spreads instead of paying commissions per lot. The way it's set up right now, you still have to eat the spread (which is not tight at all) AND pay a commission on top. Your reputation at the moment is of more importance than your high transaction costs, but more and more brokers are gaining that trust and transparency, with lower costs. Don't make us shop around, give us a bit of a break on the transaction costs....and keep on the awesome honest work you're doing!
