Contacted Jamie in a panic as couldn't get new light switch to work. Wow they said they were passing and called straight in. They sorted the switch out and put up our three new lights. Outstanding service, friendly and prompt. Will definitely use them again for any future electrical projects. 100% recommend them.

Fantastic service. Had downlighting put in our fascias as we had seen a property with them done and really liked them. Sent a picture to Lincoln electrical in which they replied with a quote on the same day! As someone who is a real control freak about mess Jamie and Aaron completely cleaned up and couldn’t tell they had been! Looks fantastic and only been up a couple of hours and already had people comment how they love them! 100% reccomend and will be a returning customer for any electrical needs!

I had a major issue with the socket and RCD breakers tripping constantly over a 3 day period where I had no power to the sockets and no heating. On the first day of the issue I called Lincoln electrical LTD after a google search and the guys came the next day. They were friendly and gave advise over the phone as much as they could. In the end I asked them for help to come and diagnose the fault and hopefully rectify or have a solution to get power and heating back to my home as I have a young child and it has been very cold in our home.

After 2 hours it was determined I have a short to ground causing the trip on one of the wires. The wire was going under the floor boards and had no real idea where it will go and was advised it was best to rewire the entire 1975 three bedroom property at a very rough estimate of around £7000 or as the apprentice put it "If you are renting I would get out" granted the wiring to the consumer unit is a little messy and old but nothing updating the unit would fix and sorting out any other issues.

The possible wire was removed and isolated out from the back of one socket and was still live. I had power back in the home and the breaker was fine for around 30 mins and then bang, it was like a huge explosion everytime it tripped. I did get a call back but it seemed there was really not much more to be done at the time.

I got the impression he did not really want to lift the carpets and floor boards to try and work it out and I think wanted to get to the next customer and then start there Christmas break and if I wanted them back will sort out in the new year with a complete rewire.

I have never felt so abandoned and what will I do next to provide cooked food and heating for my family and have my home up and running, I was in disspair. Next day I was invoiced for the 2 hours of diagnosis which I think from the work carried out was not worth it and very expensive.

The next day after not being very impressed I found and contacted another electrician and they came the same day and after 2 hours found the faulty cable and got my power back and heating with a solution to fix in the new year and also to upgrade my consumer unit and certifie and was cheaper. They lifted up the carpets and floor boarding and insured me they would not leave until my home was up and running again and safe they split the ring circuit and started reconnected each circuit until they found the fault at at last they found the fault.

I was told my home electrics were not in such a bad condition as it was made out to be and requiring a full rewire and the wiring was fine.

Sorry to say I will not use them again or advise to use them for fault diagnose work.

adding to the review from the reply, I have the call logs on my phone and it was a 7 minute phone call not 40 minutes, yes you found a fault in a run of cables and you disconnected one end of the wire to the back of the socket which was still live. Then after 5 mins of turning the power back on left my home promptly not really knowing if it was fixed. After 30 mins the breakers went with a huge bang and after another 4 minute call asked me to remove another cable. This did not remedy and I sent pictures and messages and was ignored until the next day.

The other electrical company I got in who did find the faulty cable and isolated has 30 plus years and were also extremely busy and could of done without this fault. The difference was they were kind and understood, I had no real power or heating and was left in a dangerous situation with the breakers sounding like they were exploding.

I was advised you said it needed a rewire and priced it very roughly so high as you did not want the work really or to find the fault as it could of been time consuming.

I personally regret paying for the invoice as in the end it cost me double to get someone else who could find the fault and was not just thinking I need to get out of here to my next job. You were expensive and at a premium and I thought I would of got that level of service at that premium.

Contacted this company by email asking if they could fit me a new LED Light in my kitchen, they replied giving me a price for the job which I thought was acceptable. They came to do the job that same day fitted me a new light fitting, took away the old strip light and left my kitchen in a clean and tidy state. Would definitely recommend and use this company again.

This is the second time we've used Lincoln electrical and honestly I wouldn't use anyone else , we had an electrical emergency ( I was non the wiser tbf just thought there was a funny smell 🤦‍♀️ under the stairs) we had some wiring that wasn't safe and my husband called Jamie this morning explained the issue and Jamie was here within the hour and fixed it straight away. He charged what i thought was fair for probably dropping everything and coming straight away. I honestly can not recommend these guys enough, every single person on there team i have had the pleasure to meet has been so polite and lovely to speak too. I would honestly recommend, if you want a fair price done with a high level of professionalism these guys are the ones to call! Thank you again!!!!

Always great service and will come out and sort out when I've put a drill though a cable or broken a light switch! Always friendly and communicating and great standard of work.

Outstanding Service

We recently hired Lincoln Electrical to extend a plug socket in our kitchen as we didn’t have enough plugs for all our appliances, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, their service was outstanding.

Aaron was punctual, professional, and friendly, taking the time to listen to our requirements and offering practical advice to ensure the work met our needs. The installation itself was completed to an incredibly high standard, with attention to detail that really impressed us. Charlie & Aaron did a great job updating the consumer unit & wiring up my electric cooker. Very clean neat work, explained everything, nice chaps to have around. The house feels much safer for having them work on it.

I have nothing negative to say about this company. Both Jamie and Aaron have been professional, punctual and polite. They have gone out of their way to rectify issues they weren't responsible for and taken time to explain the solar/heat source pump to an old bird without mansplaining it.
