Seen lots of bad reviews on this, realised it had nothing to do with dvla. Fortunately i was lucky and got a refund within 24 hours, but stay away from this site as lots have been unlucky

This is a fraudulent company, they take more than the tv licence amount and do not send a licence. I have just had to pay for a genuine licence as well. Please do not use this company!

Fingersxd on the refund. Only ever go direct, appreciate the clarity to cancel and request refund within 14 day cool off. For clarity and ease I could award 5*s but for the slight feeling of being duped. Hope they make it a bit clearer and remind customers before completing checkout. I'm sure a lot probably would. Data safety is a concern.

Almost paid for a renewed driver licence on this website before realising that the amount was way higher than expected. Im worried there keeping my data for malicious purposes.

Hi I went on licence plus to renew my driving licence thinking this was dvla site, they charged me £56 instead of £21.50 , when I filled simple form for refund, minutes later I had email saying the are dealing with my licence, I rang my bank but they couldn’t do anything as money has come out the account, I’m scared, don’t know wat to do,,

Absolute con! Website confusing, asked for a refund before DVLA emailed me as said can do within 48 hours. DVLA emailed me after my refund was requested. Confusing website, reached out for help before DVLA emailed me and asked for assistance and was met with horrid response. Was told needed to pay more money to remedy the error made! All I wanted was to renew and change my address on license, license is renewed and address not changed so now have to pay AGAIN! steer well clear as once take your money they dont want to know

I previously left a pretty scathing review of the company due to them not paying my TV Licence.

I emailed the email address on the website with little hope for a response and luckily enough I did indeed get a response and 3 days later my refund.

If anyone is chasing a refund, just email the website and the chap I dealt with was very helpful!

Having read the reviews after renewing my driving licence on what I thought was a gov site I panicked cancelled my bank card rang the passport agency completed a form on Police Fraud Action only to be then told by the DVLA that my new licence was on its way to me. I feel so bad now for reporting this company and apologise, yes they charge a lot but they completed the application on my behalf. I have cancelled my Fraud Report.

There was an issue with my original order. When I contacted them, I got a reply within 1 day, and the refund was in my account 2 days later. Not sure why so many people seem to be having trouble.

Absolute con, took my money no license. Been trying for over a year to get my money back but they keep fobbing me off. Avoid at all costs. There needs to be something done about this company.

I applied through their website paid the money and then changed my mind. There was an email received with a link if I wanted a refund. Filled out a simple form and the money was back in my account the next day. I was panicky after reading the reviews but i have to say their communication was fine and they refunded as promised. Maybe people judge them to quickly?

Recently had dealings with Ben Leonard and his company Licence Plus. Managed to get in contact with him through the email address on his website which he has deleted. It is contact @licenceplus.co.uk for anyone who needs it.

I have also reported him to action fraud which I advise everyone else to do aswell

Shocking - to the people saying they’ve managed to get a refund - how have you done this?

This piece of scum is ripping off everyone for £175 a pop stay clear of him and his company

Just found out today that I have no TV licence and am getting a visit from the Licence police.
So I am out £175 to licenceplus
Have written to TV licence and to licenceplus today and waiting replies
Any suggestions on how to proceed to get my money back??

A total scam - I paid £175.50 to renew and £16.50 for change of address - only when TV licencing took action against me did I realise this was a total fraud. Licenceplus telephones lines do not exist, nor do their chat or email lines. Appalling - I will look into ways to take action against them.

A friend paid for a TV licence and an extra fee at Licenceplus thinking it was the official TV Licence site. Apparently the licence fee was not remitted to the official body. The Licenceplus site qualifies as a scam website and should be shut down.

What is worse is that I wrote to TV Licensing - the official body - and they washed their hands of it. They said there was nothing they could do and they had no interest in pusuing it. Shocking.

I have also unfortunately been caught out by these fraudsters for £16.50 for change of address when I recently moved house. When I realised my mistake I contacted them and was assured I would get a refund but not received anything yet so have contacted my bank and cancelled my card. This should not be allowed!!!!
