Luke was brilliant, helping us trim and neaten a very large laurel hedge in our back garden, and advise on how to care for two shielding trees in a raised bed. Straightforward, reliable and lovely to deal with. Would recommend.

Great team! I have zero clue of how to deal with any of the trees in my garden. The LG team did a great job, their fees are honest and they give plenty of advice all the time. I recommend them 200% and will continue to ask them to look after my garden.

Fantastic service from Luke and Sam at LG Trees who provided expert guidance on what and how much to trim back our trees. Their pricing was very fair and their workmanship exemplary. They also were extremely tidy and considerate as had to take a lorry load of branches thru our house (leaving no detritus at all!).

I very much appreciated the careful, thorough and considerate approach of both Luke, in arranging the work I needed doing, and Sam and Curtis in carrying it out. Thoughtful, polite and efficient - they got a difficult job done and left house and garden immaculate.

Luke and his team were excellent, as ever. They are really good at what they do, and do it with the minimum of fuss and bother. They are very responsive. The scope of work is always very clear, and the work is done on time and in a friendly manner. I have used them on a couple of occasions now and would thoroughly recommend them.

Luke and Sam were a joy to work with and the whole process of getting a quote, booking a time for the work and completing the job went really smoothly.
They clearly have lots of experience of tree surgery and were really careful about checking exactly what I wanted.
The finished result is great - sensitively pruned trees and lots more light in my little garden.
The price also seemed reasonable. I will definitely use them next time I need work doing.

It would be difficult to overstate how positive the experience of working with Luke & his team was. Our garden was in a very sorry state - including an Apricot tree that had pretty much split in two. Luke pruned an unruly fig tree and some silver birches for us. He and his colleagues did a great job an our garden looks wonderful again.

He and his colleague arrived on time, did the work swiftly and to an excellent standard, and left everything beautifully tidy.

We also appreciated the advice Luke gave on after care for the trees.

Luke and his team recently cut down a decaying plum tree in our back garden. It was not without its complications because a vigorous rambling rose was intertwined with the tree and a big branch was overhanging a neighbour's garden. Luke's professional approach started with thorough scoping of the work when he came to give an estimate. This meant that the day itself went very smoothly because myself and neighbours were clear what was needed to enable the job to be carried out safely. The work was done carefully and efficiently and the clearing up was impeccable. Both Luke and his assistant were friendly and helpful. I would definitely use LG trees again and have no hesitation to recommend to others.

it can take a while to hear back from Luke to fix a date for them to come round, but he does get in touch in the end - not much spare capacity for admin I suspect. Having used a number of tree pruning companies over the years, I would go with LG Trees where possible. Luke and Sam cut back two trees and a wisteria for us and had to remove all the waste through the house; the job was beautifully done in well under three hours, the whole place was left immaculate, and the cost was very reasonable.

Luke felled a dead tree in our garden. He was punctual, tidy and respectful of our property and garden and gave us good advice on other trees. Would highly recommend him and his team.

Luke cut back a fruit tree we have in our back garden which was leaning precariously on our garden fence and over into the neighbouring garden.
He discussed various approaches he could take to reduce the size of the tree and encourage growth back towards our garden and off the fence and very patiently answered all of my and my neighbours questions until we settled on a solution.
The work was done very quickly and professionally with the tree retaining a lovely natural shape after its trim.
All cuttings etc were removed and they were very careful to tidy up well afterwards both in the garden and hallway through the ground floor (something I’ve sadly not seen with other people we’ve used!)

I’d definitely use Luke again for future pruning etc and have recommended him to others in our street.

Luke was amazing! Professional and polite. He made sure the place was left how he found it, cleaning up after himself. Did a great job cutting back an old and dead tree stump which had become a hazard. Reasonably priced too. Definitely recommend.
