Me and my mom stayed at Leonardo Royal…

Me and my mom stayed at Leonardo Royal hotel am stadt wald. And was very happy with our stay 🥰 The guy working at the reception desk, was very friendly and helpful. We had a guest above us wake me up, at 02:00 am since he was so noisy and I could hear other guest trying to knock on his door, to make him stop what ever he was doing. I am sure he was either drunk or on drugs. - The guy from reception made sure it was not happening again, wich helped.

Bad experiences

myself and my wife booked for 2 nights in February. On the first morning we couldn't use the bathroom with the smell of sewage .We had to vacate the room for the day.When we returned there was a slight smell.Went to have a shower and nothing in the dispenser. Went to make a cup of tea no teabags.Complained about these issues on both mornings to no avail.The lad on reception apologised.We were waiting on management to contact us but still are??

DO NOT DISTURB on our door ignored

We had DO NOT DISTURB on our door, but TWICE we were disturbed. Once old guy from the restaurant came banging on our door as he wanted us to pay our food bill, even though they had taken our room number and we'd asked for late checkout. We also waited ages for him to take our order in bar. Once we'd eaten our dinner he had at lead half hour to give us a bill but didn't do we presumed it'd be on our account... No after long drive fro. Edinburgh, we were asleep to be woken by old guy banging on our door wouldn't leave until my husband found a card to pay him!!!
Then next day we'd been told we could checkout at 12, but again banging on door at 11.45am awful customer service don't respect DO NOT DISTURB

Hotel is in a good central location

Hotel is in a good central location, room was adequate. What has spoilt this stay was that the staff member Misui (one of the chefs) has decided to “service” my husband on a number of occasions throughout our stay. This is quite unacceptable

Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton

My daughter and son in law have learning difficulties.
They spent their wedding night at Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton a few agos.
The hotel took really good care of them on their first visit.
I booked them another stay for my son-in-laws 30th birthday.
We arrived on Saturday the 28th of February 2026 and we checked in with Ovi.
Ovi, was absolutely brilliant.
He wrote everything down and gave them the same room as they had on their wedding night so they would be in fimiliar surroundings.
Thank you so very much Ovi.
You are a true star and asset to Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton

Zeer teleurstellend verblijf
Ons verblijf in dit hotel was helaas allesbehalve prettig. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is totaal uit balans; voor wat je betaalt mag je echt veel meer verwachten.
Wat vooral storend was, is dat het personeel je de hele dag met een schuin oog in de gaten houdt. Mijn vriendin werd meerdere keren van top tot teen bekeken door personeel. Ook wanneer we op het terras zaten, werden we door mannelijk personeel vanachter het raam ongegeneerd aangestaard. Dit gaf een zeer ongemakkelijk en onveilig gevoel.
Daarnaast wilden we ’s avonds wat drinken kopen in het hotel, maar de pinbetaling werkte niet. Er werd geen passende oplossing geboden: geen mogelijkheid tot contact, geen alternatief voorstel en ook geen coulance. We moesten de drankjes teruggeven en zonder iets naar onze kamer.
Al met al geen goede ervaring en voor ons absoluut geen aanrader.

Great stay for reasonable price. Milton Keynes

Hotel was in Milton Keynes. Staff all of them from reception to cleaning were polite very friendly and professional, room was clean and very comfortable good facilities for tea tv and really great water pressure in shower, plenty of towels and bed linen felt good everything spotless. Plus free hot chocolate in the foyer was really tasty. They also had an off the shelf facility for toothpaste soap etc in case you forgot but hair and body wash suppli8 in room. Would definitely come again .very reasonable prices. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

My partner and I stayed 3 days in this…

My partner and I stayed 3 days in this hotel king size bed and extra double bed it was very spacious ground floor and I paid more than usual but every day the room was cold I approached the manager and complained he said he would turn up the heat and gave a weak excuse saying they dont have it high heat for safety reasons I had to pay for breakfast which was good but all the other bar and grill and lunch was extremely small for such high costs,I complained to the manager and told him my partner didnt want me to waste my money I mentioned that as I had retired from Crown Prosecution Service at The Royal Courts of Justice at the Strand The High Court as Prosecution Barrister but he just said,"Its up to you whether you eat here"! I feel that its too big a company to care having over 300 hotels,so I will not be using it again,I give trustworthy recommendations I went as I normally do to Premier Inn but they were too full because of rugby the last time we were there the room was spacious but each night it was hot I do not recommend using Leonardo Hotels- I recommend you go to Premier Inn just down the road thank you Michael Cole

Lovely hotel

Second stay at the Newcastle Quayside hotel. Absolutely love it here. It’s our go to when we visit. Great location. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and comfortable and we really enjoy the breakfast.

Only downside which is just a little bit if a ket down….we were celebrating my husband getting the all clear from Cancer and I had asked for a surprise bottle of any type of fizz in the room but that didn’t happen despite receiving emails to say it would. Didn’t spoil our stay though…. Had plenty to drink in Newcastle 😂

Awful two-night stay at Aberdeen Leonardo Hotel

Our two nights at the Leonardo Hotel in Aberdeen's Union Square were absolutely awful, especially considering it's supposed to be a 4 star hotel.

We booked two rooms two months ahead of time, even leaving a note asking for interlinked rooms since it was two adults, one little kid, and two teenagers traveling together.

When we went to get our room keys from reception, we found out that no one had read our message asking for interlinked rooms, and the only ones available were on the 3rd floor with a double bed and on the 4th floor with two beds, splitting our family by two floors.

The room on the 3rd floor was the worst, noise and cleanliness-wise. It was right across from the stairs and elevators, so we heard people coming back from nights out at all hours, which kept waking us up. Plus, there was only one double bed for one adult and two kids. When I called reception to ask how three of us were supposed to sleep in one double bed, their response was basically, "How were we supposed to know?" from both the reception staff and later the manager. It was pretty easy to know, actually, because the room was booked for one adult and two kids, as my booking clearly showed. If the staff had done their job right, they would've seen there were three of us. So, we ended up with an extra folding bed that looked awful and had a terrible mattress for someone to sleep on for two nights.

Ugh, this room was a nightmare, and I've got pics to prove it! The toilet area walls were gross with pee or some other dark yellow stains, and the toilet paper holder was super dusty. The shower head had mold and black gunk, the taps were covered in black dirt, and the shower curtains had yellow and mold stains. Even the hand wash liquid dispenser was filthy with dark stains and full of shaving hairs. The kettle was burned inside, and when I complained, they sent it back only half-cleaned. We only got two mugs for three people, and no spoons, so we had to use our fingers or just buy drinks outside (which we did because the kettle were still nasty and no spoons). The big reading light in the room with a reading seat had a European plug on it, so we couldn't even turn it on as we are in UK and we use UK plugs. Seriously, this hotel room was a terrible experience. The other room had similar cleaning problems too but luckily they had 2 beds for 2 people, they had a correct light with UK mains so they could turn it on and even they had spoons to use with a not as dirty dirty kettle.
It was worse than some custody cells I did saw after people had been on it.

Ingen tandbørster

Ingen tandbørster, vand eller creme på værelset på trods af det er et lufthavns hotel i Amsterdam, og man derfor ofte står uden kuffert ved fx forsinkede/aflyste fly.
Dårlig buffet med intet udvalg og kedelig smag

Leonardo Hotel Galway, Ice box Rooms

Lets get the good bit out of the way in that the hotels location is fantastic in Galway City
Booked a 2 night stay to celebrate my birthday with my wife but when we landed in our room, it had no heating.
Rad was off and AC not working no matter what we did, plus the phone in the room didn't work.
Contacted reception to be told heating came on automatically at 8PM.
After enjoying Galway's charms, when we got back to the room, still no heat despite maintenance attempting to get AC to work
Eventually moved to another room which had slightly better heat.
2nd evening room was again freezing and maintenance brought up a heater which surprise surprise didn't work.
During the night heating burst into life to almost overbearing degree.
Heating in hallways on all floors worked and were much warmer than any of the rooms we stayed.
Also food debris in halls remained in place while we were guests.
Breakfast varied on both mornings between good and poor in quality.
Apologies don't cut the mustard as our weekend stay was ruined and only for the charms of Galway City would have been a total disaster
We paid good money and expected much better and would not recommend your hotel to anybody, unless they came from a region where they were used to arctic conditions.

Terrible customer service

Facilities is perfect but the service is terrible I arrived in the dining area around 10PM I asked for about dining enquires and I was told that the kitchen was closed at 9:45am. I then seen that same worker delivering food to someone’s table. I asked him about it and he said it was room service. Why didn’t he offer me an alternative if there is 24hr room service supervisor seems very dodgy aswell I didn’t bother to ask for his name but he has a bolding in the middle hairstyle. This is hotel in St Paul’s London

היינו לילה במלון פח זבל הזה וזה היה סיוט. ארוחת ערב מגעילה ארוחת בוקר כנ"ל. חדרים ישנים עם סדקים בקירות . ריהוט ישן ומתקלף.מעלית מסריחה עד כדי שעלינו ברגל לקומה 3 .הצוות נחמד אבל זה לא עוזר לתחושות הכלליות

Achtung! Leonardo Royal Hotel München belastet trotz "kostenfreier Stornierung" und Vereinbarung in der Buchungsbestätigung "Bezahlung vor Ort" die Kreditkarte mit dem vollen Betrag und geben das Geld nicht zurück trotz kostenfreier Stornierung. Warten jetzt seit fast 2 Wochen auf unser Geld, obwohl nie irgendeine Leistung erbracht. Check24 redet sich nur raus mit "wir haben damit nichts zu tun". Finger weg!

Aan de rand van het centrum in Keulen…

Leonardo hotel Keulen (15km van de winkelstad)
Aan de rand van het centrum in Keulen ligt bij een rotonde en langs een drukke weg, 6 banen was het hotel, dat kon je niet zien als je bij het hotel boekt. Het is erg gehorig, je hoort de buren door de kamer heen lopen, het is een gehorig hotel, je hoort het verkeer rijden. Viel ons tegen dat het een heel klein kamertje was, echt een basic kamer, vlekken in het tapijt en op de muur, smerige voegen(geel en zwart)een douchewand die niet aansluit waardoor de hele vloer nat was en de douchekop die niet goed vastgezet kon worden. Ontbijt was matig, de broodjes waren hard en de croissantjes waren ook hard, we vermoeden dat ze 2 keer worden geserveerd, personeel was niet geïnteresseerd, was vooral bezig met afruimen en de ramen stonden open terwijl het niet echt warm was. Dan nog betalen voor parkeren, alles viel al tegen, op de site stond er alleen genoeg parkeer gelegenheid maar ook dit moest nog afgerekend worden..personeel vroeg niet eens of we het naar ons zin hebben gehad, betalen en nog een fijne dag, gaan we niet weer naar toe, de stad zelf ruim 15 km verderop was, erg ver lopen als je slecht ter been bent om de tram bus of metro moet nemen, ik raad het hotel niet aan.

Wrong information on cash or not - staff lying ?

Stayed two nights on a group tour from Denmark at the Leonardo Hotel, Newcastle upon Tyne. First surprize that cash were not allowed in the bar. This was not mentioned on their homepage; on the contrary it was specified they did. As there were no TV remote in the room (even looked under the bed, but found nothing but a sex-toy and a bacon cracker) I asked the reception, who would bring one right up. Two hours later I tried again; now to a different receptionist, who informed me that the first one was on her break. Half an hour later the first one brought a remote, claiming she had had not been allowed to leave the reception. They cannot both have been right.

Stayed in Kurfurstendamm Berlin

Stayed in Kurfurstendamm Berlin. Great Hotel, very friendly staff, the room was more than big enough with plenty of storage. Fresh water supplied every day with coffee pods etc. I would stay again.
