Very early user of this app. Despite some small teething problems, as you would imagine for a new app, it's actually a really intuitive to use and a nice way to spend some focused time on conscious speed dating rather than endless mindless swiping. Great idea. Will use again.

A nice idea and was quick and easy to meet people. Might be nice if you can be matched with people who have traits that you have said you like. One call cut out and it was someone that I thought I would really like.

The speed dating was really good but I think what can make it even better is have slightly longer to talk to each date. Also, trying to pair me with someone that closer to my age might be beneficial. The rule of thumb is half my age plus 7 for dating someone younger. For example, 27/2+ 7 = 20.5 years. For someone older is double my age minus 7. For example, 2 x (27 -7) = 40.

What you should do is the usual 2 mins as standard for each date, then the option to extend the time by a further 2 mins, or end the date, when the initial alloted time is finished. Often participants want the option to talk more and dig deeper. in my opinion, product value comes from better understanding a potential match in the moment, rather than speedily cycling through the available options.

I tried a few Lema events; 1.5/2 minutes was a bit too short if the convo was nice, technical difficulties made it hard or impossible to chat sometimes, events ended very shortly (prob not enough registered or people dropped out?). Made me crave a dating chat roullete where you start a chat and drop if you want or continue for longer. More filters needed. Cute idea, but feels more like a proof of concept.

We have been constantly improving the technology in response to the feedback so you will see fewer issues going forward. A truly special experience with Lema!
My first voice date - loved it
I joined the Lema event last night and it was amazing. It was my first ever voice date - even though it was short, it was such a new, exciting and heartwarming experience.
The app is so simple, warm and feels very safe. I love the idea of connecting through voice instead of just texting, it feels much more real and personal.
I really enjoyed it and I highly recommend everyone to try Lema at least once. Thanks to Jake and the Lema team for a wonderful evening!
