I would strongly advise using Leisure Wheels if you are in the market to purchase a bicycle. I purchase a Cube Reactive peddle assist E-Bike. Their knowledge and guidance made it a pleasurable experience. No pushy sales tactics just genuine support and advisories.

Walked in to fix my bike seat today, I was warmly welcomed by a great enthusiastic customer service by the staff members, and they helped me sort out my seat effectively.

I used Leisure Wheels for the first time recently after my local bike shop failed to find the faults with my bike and I am so glad I did. I originally spoke to Sam about the issues I was having with my mountain bike and he was very helpful. I booked my bike in with them and not only did they fix the issues first time but I also went ahead and had a couple of upgrades done. Sam and everyone else I spoke to at Leisure Wheels were all so knowledgeable and friendly. I was given some really honest advise too which actually saved me money and I will definitely be using them in the future for all my biking needs. Their prices were also great in comparison to other bike shops so felt I got extremely good value for money. Until now the only other bike shop I really trusted was about 60 miles from where I live so it's a result that I can now go to Leisure Wheels for all my biking needs. Just bought my second e-bike from leisure wheels and I must say it was as much fun as when I bought my 1st!! Staff are so helpful and nothing is to much trouble! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to my friends😃

I ordered a Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro 625, and upon arrival, the bike had significant manufacturing and production defects. Additionally, no adjustment tools were provided. The first issue I noticed was that the rear derailleur hanger was bent, which I am 99% sure happened during transit. I promptly contacted the supplier, who sent a replacement hanger. While I appreciated the quick response, I had to pay for the installation as I lack bike-building expertise.

Once the rear hanger was repaired and I could finally use the bike, I discovered another major issue with the battery mount. The battery case would fall off with any disturbance. Upon closer inspection, it became evident that the bike had not been properly assembled. A bolt was cross-threaded by about 2mm, holding the battery in place, but it was far too large for the threaded hole in the bike's frame.

I reported this to Leisure Wheels, who asked me to return the bike and offered to send a replacement. However, due to work commitments, I requested that I have the bike repaired locally and be reimbursed for the costs. They declined this request, insisting the only option was an exchange via a delivery service. This exchange process was delayed due to the parcel being sent to the wrong depot, causing it to remain there for several days. As a result, I missed three additional days of paid work waiting for delivery.

Frustrated, I contacted the director, Sam Busson, and asked if he could pursue compensation on my behalf due to the significant financial loss I had incurred. He refused, dismissively stating, "I'm not going to waste my time." His attitude throughout the situation was unhelpful and arrogant, offering no assistance whatsoever. He simply reiterated that I could either return the bike for a refund or wait for the replacement, completely ignoring the fact that I had lost money due to the incompetence of both Leisure Wheels and the delivery company.

When I questioned why he continued using the same delivery service despite frequent issues, he responded by saying, "It happens all the time, but they never get compensation back, so it's pointless." His response was dismissive and unprofessional, and no effort was made to resolve the situation or compensate for my financial loss.

In conclusion, while the Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro 625 might be available for a slightly higher price elsewhere, I would strongly recommend purchasing from a more reliable retailer. It is worth paying a little extra to receive proper customer service and avoid the frustrating experience I had with Leisure Wheels.

What did you do to help me, the bare minimum which was provide me a functioning bike which i paid for. you did not assist with anything else or even try to compensate me.

After a nightmare with 2 other cycle shops, whilst trying to purchase a Cube Stereo 140 HPC 750 Pro, I called Leisure Wheels and spoke to Sam, who was honest and upfront with me from the start. I ordered the bike on the Saturday expecting it to arrive in a weeks time, but i was called on Monday morning and Sam said there was one bike in the warehouse and it would be shipped on the night after it had been inspected and true to their word, it arrived on the Tuesday. The customer service and communication from Sam and Tom at the shop is second to none and i would highly recommend Leisure Wheels for anybody considering buying a new bike, absolutely top quality service!

Made a special trip here for a bike computer I'd seen on their website, and I'm glad I did. The chap I spoke with was friendly, helpful and really knew his stuff. Sad I'm not local to Hemel Hempstead as this is exactly what a good local bike shop should be.

I ordered a bike (BMC) from them and it wasn't as expected when it arrived (misleading web image). The shop were really understanding and helped me get the right bike to my specific requirements. I cannot praise them enough for this. Dan and his staff were great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Very competitive price too 👍

Just picked up my new Electric MTB, and I have to say if you want service, value, and choice then go no further these boys are the best.

they made a tiny misshapp but gimmie a refund straight away very good down the phone and even called me when they did it

Price of Hiabike was cheapest on the web. It did take a week to arrive, and unfortunately had some cosmetic damage to one of the cranks, but Dan said he would replace the crane and the bike didn't come direct fro the shop so they weren't to know.

I just wanted to say a big, ‘Thank you’ to everyone at Leisure Wheels for helping me out and repairing my e-bike in record time so I could take part in a charity ride at the weekend. The team were efficient, knowledgeable and courteous whilst I waited for them to identify the fault and fix it. 👏🏼

Bought a Cube e-bike from LeisureWheels for 3 main reasons - the bike I wanted was in stock, at a competitive price and they had great positive reviews. Delivery took a few days longer than I expected, but I was kept informed of progress. I had a couple of issues to sort, the main one of my making! Dan was always on hand, answering the phone immediately, to address my questions and send a couple of parts I needed by next day delivery. Sometimes you have to experience how a company deals with issues to truly judge whether their service is 5*. I can say that it is with LeisureWheels.

Good experience, fast email responses. Good deals on E-MTBS. Took probably around 2 weeks from purchase to arrival. Would recommend =D

Purchased a BMC Teammachine slr from these guys. The bike was heavy discounted and sent next day delivery. There was an initial problem with the DPD delivery not associated with the shop, however the shop very kindly chased up the delivery for me. On arrival the bike was extremely well packed with absolutely no chance of it being damaged. The bike had been well prepared and was a case of just popping the bars, saddle and pedals on and after some personal tinkering was good to go. A great customer experience, I'd never used them before but would highly recommend them.
