I spent over 10K to be lifetime subscriber to nearly all of the newsletters back in 2019 and was sold on the Bio stocks which completely tanked and I lost over 30K. These guys have so many stocks they provide, with all these buy alerts, you'll need to have a lot of dry powder to keep up. Then there's the 1K yearly maintenance fee to keep the subscription going. That's bullshit. 10K on a lifetime should cover lifetime and no further costs.

I'm a legacy research lifetime subscriber and I can no longer login to the mobile app or the desktop version. Cannot get ahold of anyone and I was charged the annual fee of 500$ in June.

Over the greatest part of 2024, since Teeka left, this outfit has been dodging any type of quality replacement. As a Lifetime Subscriber we objected, asked for a "partial" fair refund, and have been getting the run around (as many other reviews have also claimed). But we have the resources and commitment to start a class action lawsuit ... we will be contacting as many as possible to join us (no cost to you) or you can contact us. This company should be avoided AT ALL COSTS and we urge you to join us and get these people shut down.

UPDATE 9-26-24: Finally someone with authority called me, and it was a very direct and pleasant conversation. He immediately understood and we reached agreement quickly. In addition he apologized and wanted investors like myself to enjoy their product and offered additional benefits. MY ADVICE to you readers is to stick to your claim, and get your complaint "elevated" to someone who cares. This has turned out FINE for me and it's only because I finally got to someone who had authority (and brains) to understand. Seems like a good company now ... but customer service NEEDS more training. Try elevating your complaint until someone understands! CHANGING MY STARS from ONE to FOUR ... !!!

This is the crappy source from where criminals like Palm Beach Group and Brownstone Research Group originate.

Scammers... Stay away. Took a renewal fee for a lifetime service. Then cancelled the service and refused to return any money.

SO TOTALLY DISGUSTED w these ppl. 30+ (idk) different programs, I have tried and got screwed by several, poor coverage, poor performance, poor office functionality(no speaka de english)(credit card charge SCREW-UPS),(poor everything, except selling MORE product. NO CASH BACK, only get to switch to one of their other products, AT MORE COSTS. And then they can't get that right. Inundated w more and more and more emails. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PPL

Update to my initial review:

Brownstone Research has solved the problem that they created by refunding me (based upon my specific request) $200, which is the difference between what I actually paid for a 'Lifetime' subscription and what I would have paid for three years of regular subscription service. To me, this is a fair resolution given that they delivered only two years and ten months of the service that I bought with Jeff Brown as editor. I will add, however, that this resolution was reached only after I contacted them MANY times, then posted here on TrustPilot as well as filed a complaint with Florida's Better Business Bureau. While I appreciate that they did the right thing in the end, they should have resolved this issue directly upon my first contact, rather than repeatedly denying my fair request and requiring a time consuming escalation.

Following is my initial review: Buyer Beware! Brownstone Research and their publisher Legacy Research can and will rip you off. I paid $299 for a ”Lifetime Subscription” to Jeff Brown’s Near Future Report followed by two consecutive years’ $24 ($48 total) maintenence fee. $347 out of pocket for two years and ten months of delivery. When they notified me that Jeff Brown had been booted out, effective immediately, I wrote to customer service and requested at least a partial refund for the Lifetime Subscription that they decided, without notice, to stop delivering. They first said no. Then they said they would try to get $24 refunded, and that they’d get back to me on whether or not a $24 refund was approved. And then, they not only did NOT get back to me, but they’re also not answering my emails or my phone calls. This run around started nearly three weeks ago. If I had just paid the regular annual fee for the Near Future Report for three years, it would have cost me $147 ($49 x 3 years) So they’ve effectively ripped me off for $200 and are choosing to blow me off and ignore my request for a fair solution to the problem that they themselves created. Dubious if not outright fraudulent marketing. I will now contact the Better Business Bureau in Florida and/or California to file a complaint. Scammers and frauds. If you do NOT deliver what you promised/marketed, why do you REFUSE to make good by your customers and refund the unused portion of a Lifetime Subscription you decided to stop? Additionally, I 100% agree with the many other reviews that you will be bombarded by spam emails that never stop if you subscribe to ANY Legacy Research services. It’s relentless junk!

I would give zero stars if I could. I have unsubscribed countless times over the past 2-3 months, emailed customer service numerous times, asked to be removed from their mailing list, but the emails continue to come in daily. I have received email responses from customer service representative Michelle D informing that I have been successfully unsubscribed and would no longer receive emails, but the emails still continue to come in daily! What an unprofessional, discourteous joke of a company! They like to harass potential customers by continually sending unwanted emails. I have reported them to the FTC.

I purchased Net Neural Profits. I was sold a product that was supposed the deliver at least double my money. It didn't come close. I was told that I had one year to switch to another premium product at the same price. I cancelled Net Neural Profits in May of 2022 and was told that I had one year from that date to switch to another premium product. I called today, January 30, 2023, and the list of products I was given were all considerably higher than my credit amount. I called back and stated to the representative that there were no similarly priced products on the list; and I was told I would have to wait for another premium product that was on sale. I have been effectively ripped off $2,500 on this product. I have spent about $20,000 on products in the last 4 or 5 years from these people. The only one that delivered close to what was advertised was Palm Beach Confidential. The rest were ripoffs. Most of these premium products are pump and dump scams.

Worst customer service, I am a life time member and they keep charging double the amount for annual membership fees despite complaining multiple times they keep on doing the same mistake without correcting, one time is a mistake or glitch but doing the same thing again after again is mind blowing!
Update - finally issue got resolved,after going back and forth with the customer service.

This is a SCAM operation. Let me give you insight into what happened to me so you can be smarter. Somehow I landed on 1 of these guys email lists… and I say guys because it’s not just Legacy Research Group, it’s Palm Beach Research, Casey Research, Rogue Economics, Brownstone Research, TradeSmith and the many other scams and names these guys operate with. Here’s how ONE OF THEIR SCAMS WORK…

You are offered a small low ticket product to get you in the door. It may be a small $1 offer or some offer to simply collect your credit card details. At this point as long as you stay with original product you buy they just keep trying to upsell you.

However, I cancelled within 24 hours of signing up. I have an email from them and everything to prove they “cancelled” my account. From the day that I cancelled the account I began getting super spammed by over 10 different organizations who are all “trade gurus” and many of them clearly did state in their emails they were referred to me by Jeff Brown from Brownstone Research.

It seemed like they wouldn’t stop. I would keep on unsubscribing and sure enough they would reput me on the list even though I never asked to go on it again. They would also change names and lists over and over again no matter how many times I unsubscribed I was flooded by these fly by knight traders who SCAM PEOPLE.

A simple search of Jeff Brown in my inbox and you will see dozens of different names all attached to the scammer Jeff Brown and this scam group of con artists (see attached images of screenshots). Even though I cancelled my subscription less than one day after signing up in November 2021… you can see as recently as June 2022 they email me garbage. It’s gotten so bad, I had to screenshot them me unsubscribing and even email them the screenshot so they know what they’re doing is a 100% illegal and yet they still keep emailing me!!!

Now if the scam ended there I would I guess be fine since it’s just emails… but then I got charged nearly 6 months after I cancelled and have proof of cancelling with Brownstone Research, I got a charge from SR TradeSmith for $49. Now I know what software I subscribe to and trust me I have never done business or know of TradeSmith. So called my bank and disputed it within 24 hours of seeing the charge. Oddly enough my bank then DENIED MY DISPUTE. I went crazy because I do know this was a scam charge but somehow my bank didn’t believe me.

After nearly 2 months of fighting with my bank & asking for their proof from “SR TradeSmith” I get a letter that SR TradeSmith sent to my bank. Here is where the scam all connects and you see what is intention of all these companies and scammers…

Attached you’ll find the exact letter they sent to my bank. As you can see they reference the low ticket purchase I made 6 months ago as reason why their $49 was an authorized charge. What’s weird here though is they are 2 different company so how does SR TradeSmith know purchase of products from Brownstone Research? Do you see in the letter how they crafted the letter knowing as they scam people out of $49 that they would get a flurry of chargebacks… so they drafted this letter showing how you supposedly had already 1 or 2 authorized purchases already. Your bank then goes and checks and sees they are valid and then denies your chargeback request. Scammers then get your $49 x 10,000+ people and you’ve got a huge money scheme happening with companies that I’ve listed in this review.

Now if we go to their letter they sent to my bank from SR TradeSmith you can see at the bottom they listed my purchases from 10/31/2021 and I then cancelled less than 24 hours later when I did realize these guys were all full of you know what. So I cancelled and got letter back on November 1, 2021 from them (all of my proof attached to the review) saying money had been refunded and everything was cancelled. As you can see this is clearly a SCAM!!

Long story short, I got my money back, but only after giving my bank hell. Please report these guys if you’ve been scammed. More we report, the more we can help others! If you want the proof from this review just type in any of the scam group names on Google and you will see my full review with screenshots, photos and proof of the scam!

As stated by other reviewers these people operate under a large number of different names and different email addresses.

In March 2022 I had to contact them to stop sending me emails and this actually appeared to work. They sent me an email saying they had removed my email address.

However, in September 2022 I started receiving emails from them again. They even had the audacity to address me as "registrant".

I contacted them again - it took several attempts to get a response - and I eventually received another email saying they had removed my email address again.

Yet, only a few days later, I am getting spam emails from them again.

I have had 11 spam emails from these people in only 3 days.

An absolutely attrocious company.

I am currently trying to report them to their hosting company (godaddy.com), will also complain to the UK ICO and am reporting their directors and managing editors (Chaka Ferguson, Emma Walsh, and Christopher Gaarde) to LinkedIn via their LinkedIn profiles.

To Legacy research, Thank you for your reply to this Trust Pilot review; and for apologising and recognising that you did not meet a high standard. Since my review I have received a further email from you stating that I have been unsubscribed from your mailing list and, for now at least, it appears that I am indeed no longer receiving spam emails. I am adding this edit on 18th Oct 2022 and the last spam email I received was 23rd Sep - let's hope this indicates that the issue is over. So, for now, I see no need to provide you with my email address.

There is no customer service support, however they refund my payment

I canceled my subscription and they still charge me.

Don't buy this program, they have long videos with big promises but they just never deliver. You cannot fast forward through the videos.

I don't trust these people.

If you unsubscribed and think they sold your info because your getting similar emails...More likely shuffling you to there other owned entities!! "Marketwise"parent companies web site click on "Our Company's" : Drop down menu of these owned entity's:

Avoid they sell your email to others and you get so much spam from multiple other companies

Don’t give email to them or use a throw away email address

Why do I keep getting spam email warning of imminent doom unless i read these multiple daily spam newsletters. There are multiple companies under Legacy research who continue to bombard my inbox with spam and that clown Jeff Brown being the number 1 culprit. I never signed up or will ever want anything to do with your sham investments or advice. --- Edit: You say you have removed me from your emails and yet 4 hours later i receive yet more spam from "Finance trader pro" - Brownstone research. Do you really expect people to pay for your advice when you cant perform a simple task?

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! Never do business with this company or any of their affiliates. This entire organization is a bait and switch. They run bs webinars with false promises and you never get your money back. Their sales team hounds you until you buy their worthless subscriptions just for you to be stuck with losing positions. Horrible that they are even allowed to do business and steal people's hard earn money. Their customer service team is an absolute joke and is managed by an absolute clown that I will not name.

Jeff Clark and Van Bryan are at it again sending me more spam mails from a different company name even after they apologized after I wrote a review regarding their sham spam practices and lying about how much investor money they run. If you were even remotely successful why do I, who have never even heard of the 10-15 company names you go by, continually send me unwanted spam emails even after I unsubscribe numerous times.
Don’t bother apologizing again. I’m not removing this review. If it continues I’ll pursue legal action as I have kept your emails and documented my unsubscribe requests going so far as to email one of your editors. The Data Protection Act is law because of your illegal practices.
Lastly, I have requested, by law, that the name of the person/company that provided my data to you be provided to me.
