My partner and I had a very disappointing experience with Leadenhall Law Group during a property purchase attempt in Spring 2025. The case was managed by Zahra Ahmadi and Dally Rashid, and throughout the process we faced persistent delays, limited communication, and a lack of meaningful updates. This created considerable stress and left us feeling unsupported at key points.

The final pre‑exchange report revealed several irregularities that we had received no prior warning or indication of. Given the seriousness of these issues, we ultimately decided to withdraw from the purchase, a decision we are now relieved to have made.

Based on our experience, we would not recommend LLG for conveyancing and would encourage others to actively avoid using this firm.

Tomasz has been excellent in this a speedy completion on the sale and purchase of our properties

Unfortunately the paralegal left half way through this process without us knowing which explains why she didn’t respond to emails.

We liked the hoowla tracking system to track progress. Tomasz was always contactable and endlessly patient with us for which we thank him. In addition Ben Giacomelli was also excellent and good at signposting either advice and contacts when Tomasz was on holiday.

Rhianna Taylor and Dilara Boran from Leadenhall Law Group dealt with my purchase of a flat. As i haven't moved for 27 years, I found the whole prospect quite daunting. They were efficient and helpful, and when i needed information they responded very quickly. I also had telephone conversations with them both where they explained the process clearly, and Dilara phoned me on more than one occasion to go through queries I had. Rhianna also sent weekly updates of what was happening. I would wholeheartedly recommend using this company, and if I had to use them again, i would ask for Rhianna and Dilara to deal with my case

Reading other reviews, I cannot say that we had the same high quality experience with Leadenhall.

Gilmour and Nelman were allocated to our first property purchase. After a month, the estate agent called me to say they could not get hold of Gilmour, and that he was not responding to emails or voice messages. Our mortgage adviser also mentioned that she struggled to get responses. I often had to chase for answers and to get things moving.

There were little mistakes too- personal documents were lost in the post and not tracked, and there were errors in documents that I picked up on.

To be fair to them, I raised these issues, and they apologised for the service provided. And when I could get hold of Gilmour on the phone, he was very efficient and gave good advice. We got there in the end, but regrettably, I can't say I'd recommend Leadenhall.

Excellent service from start to finish. I’m very grateful to the team who handled my case during what turned out to be a particularly complex property purchase in the UK. Throughout the process, I was kept fully informed, every stage was clearly explained, and the team was always available to answer my questions. They worked proactively to keep the transaction moving, applied appropriate pressure on the seller’s side when needed, and ultimately guided the matter to a successful completion. I couldn’t be more appreciative of their professionalism, persistence, and support. Money very well spent, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I found Birgul after reading through other reviews for LLG and specifically asked to have her handle our purchase and sale. I’m so glad I did, as she was the best solicitor we’ve ever had.

The whole process was so much smoother than when we bought our first house with another firm. We never had to chase Birgul; everything was always dealt with promptly and without any prompting from us. She is incredibly professional, kind and supportive throughout.

Having Birgul handling our sale and purchase took almost all of the stress out of what can be a very stressful process. We are so thankful for all her hard work and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a solicitor.

I can't recommend Ed Percival highly enough. Although my house sale and purchase ultimately didn't go ahead, Ed's professionalism, support and guidance genuinely took much of the stress and disappointment out of what was an incredibly challenging process.

His expertise, calm approach and genuine care made an enormously difficult experience far more manageable.

This wasn't my first experience of working with Ed either. He has acted for me on two previous house moves, and I wouldn't hesitate to instruct him again for any future move. That repeat business speaks for itself and is testament to the trust I have in Ed and the consistently excellent service he provides.

We can't thank Jade Lane and Sahar at Leadenhall Law Group enough for their work on the sale of our flat. This was far from a straightforward transaction – a leasehold property in a high-rise building subject to the Building Safety Act, with a lengthy list of enquiries from cladding assessments to service charge disputes and a major S20 notice for communal heating works. Jade handled the legal complexities with real expertise and patience, always keeping us informed and pushing things forward even when the council's responses were slow.

She was brilliant throughout – clear, responsive, and always on top of the detail, even as new questions kept surfacing from the buyer's side right up to exchange. She kept us reassured at every stage and helped get us to a successful exchange and completion despite a genuinely complicated case.

Leadenhall Law Group's professionalism made all the difference from start to finish. Highly recommend them to anyone dealing with a leasehold sale, especially one with building safety complications.

Sadly, my experience of using Leadenhall Law Group as conveyancers for the sale of my home was disappointing.
The process started well with a phone call from the solicitor handling my case, introducing herself, which I very much appreciated. However, after that initial contact I found it difficult to speak with her directly and often had to chase for updates or responses to my queries.
I also felt that the team didn't have a good understanding of my particular property. At one stage I was forwarded a request from the buyer's solicitors asking me to obtain an indemnity policy when, in fact, one was not required. Rather than being advised accordingly, the request was simply passed on to me.
Communication could also have been much better. I was not always kept informed of progress, and there were periods where the transaction appeared to stall unnecessarily. In particular, I was left with the impression that the team was waiting for a Land Registry response that ultimately proved neither crucial nor necessary for the sale to proceed.
To be fair, the sale completed in just over three months, which is a reasonable timescale. However, this was a straightforward transaction involving only a buyer and seller, with no chain, no mortgage on my property, and prompt responses from both parties throughout. I therefore felt the transaction could have progressed more efficiently.
Overall, I came away with the impression that the team was handling a very high volume of files and, as a result, was unable to provide the level of communication, attention to detail and proactive service that I had expected. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not choose to use Leadenhall Law Group again.

Our experience with Annie/Annum as first time buyers exceeded our expectations. Our property had no chain and we were exchanged and completed within 10 weeks. Our experience provided us with reassurance and guidance for all matters which we needed. Our searches were thorough and detailed in every aspect. We were always able to call / email Annie for any matter and was always resolved. We would highly recommend.
